One of the many reasons why I love Pecos Hank - while every chaser has their eyes to the sky, he's the one who notices the cool salamander hiding out on the ground. Even if he's in the middle of a chase, he stops to protect and appreciate the wildlife who are also affected by these storms. As much as I love the incredible tornado shots, that segment of the lightning strikes setting fire to a field was my favorite moment in the video. Had me gasping out loud. Happy holidays, Hank!
Hi Hank, I’ve played guitar for 30 years and you don’t get enough credit for the musical scores you record yourself. You’re obviously not shredding on the guitar but you create beautiful and effective soundscapes that match your videos perfectly. I can hear your talent (and hard work) playing, recording, editing, and producing those awesome sounds!
@@PecosHankthe one song you use in the intro gives me so many memories of my dad and I storm chasing a couple years ago. Sadly he bought a Tesla and got rid of his truck so storm chasing isn’t the same. I’ve been storm chasing since I was 12 (21 now) and we put 200,000 miles on his truck in 2 years due to the fact we live in Maryland and end up driving 1000 miles to get to the outlook.

I feel like a coward being terrified by just the thunder and storm and warning, and I found new respect for those who live in more prone areas. Nothing more to this, just wanted to share.
Michigander?
Those sirens scare the crap out of me, so you’re not alone. I hear them nearly every spring and this year we even had them in fricking February.
oklahoman here, the sirens still freak me out after almost 20 years
@@frequentsee3815 Michigan gets plenty of tornadoes, my county had 4 TORs just this year
Beautiful video and a great summary. You got some amazing shots this year and all the derpy herps!
This is my favorite video to watch at the end of every year! Thank you for your incredible storytelling and magnificent views!
That's a lot of work, recording, and miles. Thanks Hank!
wow…. Christmas came early this year! Happy holidays everyone 🎄 ❤️💚
So glad to see you still keeping up the annual streak with no signs of stopping! Solid work, Hank, you're the best.
Can you do all the tornadoes in Missouri?
My soul needed this. Thank you for capturing mother nature on film, and telling us the story of the season. I'm disabled and can't chase, so I live vicariously through other chasers. I truly appreciate you being a Beta Fish in a bowl. What might feel like a fish bowl to you, is bringing the entire storm season to me. You do so in a way that captivates the senses, creates peace with nature, and truly shows the grandiose splendor that is a Tornado in action. What a Burrito Season! Well done!
Always warms my heart to watch these videos Hank. Amazing work and I can't wait for next year!
Hell yeah I was waiting for this! I often long for spring time and supercells here in Nebraska when it starts to get cold.
Keep up the awesome work Hank!
18:55 = Thomas Heaton, British landscape photographer TH-camr. Fantastic. :) Happy Christmas to you all at the Hank household! :) Rock on 2025!
Came looking for this comment haha
@@MasterChief2Man me too! Enjoyed his storm chasing vids this year
Jesus Christ on a motor bike. The storm chasing badass never ceases to amaze me. And your friend from Australia is way too funny to not be in your shots.
I always look forward to seeing your videos. Thank you for another wonderful video. I'd love to see some more herping videos like you tend to do. Hope your Christmas was great! Here's to a blessed new year!
