  • Welcome to PART 2 of this amazing series!
As Indiana Jones would say, "It belongs in a museum," this holds true for this exceptional abandoned place! Underground, there are miles of workings that connect with many adjacent mines in the area, along with endless historical graffiti, the most elaborately timbered hoist room, ore cars, drills, windlasses, and even miner's garments. We get to explore four of the many levels in this mine, all of them extensive! This abandoned mine is truly an amazing place!
Joining us once again on this adventure is @Zia Mountain Adventures. Together, we take our underground abandoned mine exploring experiences to another level. We have hiked several miles underground, documenting this historic place, each one of us with a different perspective. I hope you enjoy our videos, and I encourage you to check out and subscribe to ‪@ZiaMountainAdventures‬ channel as well!
Inside this mountain holds many unexpected finds and surprises! We are doing an episode for every level that we visit, each with its own unique items of interest!
This abandoned mine exploring video is shot and presented in 4K and HDR. I recommend for your viewing experience to watch this video with a TV, monitor, or mobile device with a 4K/HDR compatible display. It really does make a difference!

That cribbing was extreme! It looked like a bunch of log cabins next to each other! Never seen anything like it before. Thanks for watching, and Happy New Year!

Another great installment, Justin! So many cool things like the wall wired to detonate, the tandem ore chutes, the windlass, the peg boards, the trestle, and all that heavy timbering at the end of the video. The miners’ graffiti was also pretty extraordinary! There always seems to be pictures of “horses“ like you showed. I wonder if those are actually drawings of the burros that were used to pull the ore carts through the mine before the adoption of more modern conveyances. I would imagine the miners treated the burros as if they were family pets by giving them names, and the miners probably bonded with them. I thought this video was the perfect length, too - not too short and not too long. Happy New Year!

Hey, Frank! Sorry for the delayed response. I've been quite busy lately looking to apply my shiny new degree towards a career! This level of the mine did have some personality to it. That cribbing was INSANE! I've never seen anything like it. I did see some burro depictions in there, but a lot of what you saw were horses. I'm sure the mine burros were like pets to the miners back when they were used (and they were used in this district), and I'm sure they cherished their horses (like one cherishes their vehicle, lol). Thanks for the input on the video length! I try to get within that ballpark figure, but sometimes go over. Happy New Year to you, Frank! I hope all is well.

Hey! New to the channel and like your videos! Right at the 0:55 mark when you shined your light up the incline shaft there were eyeballs looking down on you guys! Or someone was already up there with a light?

like a caring friend who will tell you your breath stinks, I am saying in a hopefully positive way that the music is mixed a little too loud compared to your voice.
