I just bought my bro one yesterday! All reviews pointed to this studio black over the studio 2. Hope he likes it. He started making beats back in 02 with sound blaster. Crazy how his mind put that together to make beats! Y'all def talented.

Yes the Studio Black does work with the latest MPC 2 software & has gotten all the recent updates. How long will they update it. I don't know but with the current updates you get the full experience of the software.
