Oh wow! Bringing in elements from the BETA of Banjo-Kazooie? That is quite the thing we need for a hack like this. I actually always thought of the Temple Test Level as being a possible hub world. To me, it kind of seems like the path that Banjo was taking at the beginning was him heading from the beginning of the game to the temple and then the inside of the temple is the hub world. That is what I'd say it could be at least.
Yeah it's almost like DKC in 2.5D, running around and collecting fruits.
I will always treasure the memories I had with Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. It's not nostalgia, because there are a lot of things I loved as a kid, that now I think what the heck did i like, but not with Banjo kazooie, I can still play this game even with my 30 years and still enjoy it like it did as a kid.
I waited for a new preview of this game for a long, glad the development of Nostalgia 64 has been continued

Loved seeing this brought to life! Not many games ever looked like this, with its sorta 2.5D thing going on, and it's really interesting seeing that in the N64 aesthetic. Feels like a window into what might have been, had Mario 64 sensibilities not won the day.
And for some reason now feel like I could really go for a crisp, cold bottle of South American lager

Beautiful! The way you turned an open game into a more 2.5D linear game with a limited camera is honestly impressive. Not only that, but the environment is greatly detailed, more than anything you see in the original final game. Keep up the good work!
The camera in this area is amazing, you did such a good job.
I like how this actually has more notable Project Dream vibes.
For those who don't know: Project Dream was Rare's unreleased RPG that eventually became the basis for Banjo Kazooie.
To be able to explore these areas is such a gift, I’m so excited and can’t thank you enough for all the hard work that you do Kurko!

Or at least, Donkey Kong Country 64 should had this type of concept on levels.
Much more platformer-ish, besides tight levels allow much better textures than giant scope landscapes.
On released version of Banjo - Kazooie, after you defeat boss on second level then enter clam shell, -it clearly shows just how awesome N64 would had looked & played on smaller 3D -sections.
I can't wait for release of this one, please make it console compatible!

At the time of the forest level was called Banjo Kazoo if I remember correctly. When the temple level the name was already Banjo Kazooie

It’s like Banjo Kazooie are bringing one jiggy to the N64 god
I really really love the jungle section, feels so immersive and adventury and such a perfect whimsical vibe that suits the world of banjo kazooie so well. It really feels to me like this is original banjo and all the final levels we know are later adaptations of this that actually stray further and further from the core banjo theme. It’s just so so iconic. Would love to see a version of mumbo’s mountain like this with more trees, winding paths, foliage and decoration. I feel that’s what it was intended to feel like, but hardware limitations and the practical need for open space for camera controls made it what it ended up being
Words cannot accurately define how much I'm dying to play this, I love your work to death and it really feels like Nostalgia64 is going to be the crescendo to what's already been an outstanding symphonic masterpiece of romhacking work, I can't wait for the final release!

I dunno why but I feel like there's some kind of desire in me to want to know what those all could have been like, even if they're levels that were never finished and all that. I feel something like this brings us closer to it.

Yooo this looks awesome! You even brought back the scrapped temple level?! Now I really gotta play this when it comes out.
I do like how modern mods are able to control the camera. The first area reminded me much or Tarzan and Crash bandicoot with the more Linear design, It was fascinating seeing what was normally an open world game linear with the camera automatically adjusting itself.
That ending tho lmao

While we love the final product, there are times we wondered what it would have been like. Some of us would have loved to played the old ideas, see what we could have gotten, maybe even yearn for it. We can never truly see or even play the betas of many games. Again, we love what we got, but sometimes we wonder how things would've been with the original ideas.
Really interesting...so that's what it would have felt like to play it!

Aparte disfrute los 6 escenarios de BK - Kurkoin Quest y fue excelente, esperemos que esos escenarios los unas como hiciste los niveles por separado de Stay At Home.

While the gameplay seen in the first area could work, I'm just glad we ended up with the final game as it is! A hack recreating the beta of this game is a rather ingenious idea!
By the way, the treasure in the chest was not what i was expecting. I'm reminded of the Mirinda Ocarina of Time commercial.
