I followed the steps but didn’t work for me , so I heated the tip of a small 10 gauge steel stick I had , and forced it in carefully making sure I didn’t melt the remote or touch anything else . Waited 60 seconds till it cooled and pull slowly and voila ! Hope this helps

This is not good way to fix your Jack problem just use pliers if you cant just try to wiggle it out without cutting the inside.
