It sounds superb. Since I enjoy old routes, I've got all the DLC for the full experience. I'm intrigued by Carlisle shunting. Keith Ross and Co did a superb job adding loads of industry sidings to Western Lines of Scotland, there, so I wonder if we'll get similar. It was fascinating trundling around the back lines of Carlisle.
@@Daytona2 I too enjoy a bit of shunting. There's quite a few routes that actually do have accessible, sidings and accessible industries. They're not well promoted. I think the most recent one is San Bernardino has a lot. The Oakville line Canada has a lot and some of the English ones do as well. So it'll be really interesting to see how far this goes and whether they use the new functionality from San Bernardino to allow manual manual points on the main line which really help with local industry shunting
Well, Christmas products are already widely for sale in supermarkets (consuming one right now), so why not dive into our Christmas presents too (JT WCML) ;-)
You didn't mention the loco hauled MK3 (MK3A/B?). Just sneaking in a couple of photos there, I know it is a long shot but I wonder if a MK3 DVT might make an appearance in the future.
@@FM60260 I only mention what just trains have actually published. When you look at the photos, it is a little bit different to some of the things that they're talking about, so we'll have to wait and see won't we?
As you guessed, older locos are more difficult to drive - mostly the braking is delayed and variable. That's why the Just Trains audience likes them. Have a read of Armstrong Powerhouse Class 87 manual to get an idea. Similar with the 47 and if you have the DLC, the 45, 40, 31, 20, 101
@@Daytona2 well the 47 isn't terribly difficult to drive, brakes are a bit delayed, but overall it's fairly easy to drive. I've heard the 87s have a tap changer style throttle like the old German locos, which certainly would be more challenging than the straightforward throttle of the 47
@@andy3074 I'm guessing you might mean different rather than difficult. The West Coast Mainline stretches from London all the way up into Scotland delivering passengers into Glasgow and Edinburgh. So just trains are building another part of the route from Preston to Carlisle and then set it in a different decade. So the trains will not be modern. They will be 1980s, 1990s style trains. Those are different to drive but not necessarily any more difficult than what you've got in dtg's route. Over time I expect that we will probably get all of West Coast main Line delivered piecemeal in DLC to DLC.

Mentioned its nearing completion as well! So we could see it released in the next 2 months!😊
@@GreatEasternMainlineSpots note that it's just a guess. I don't know that it's nearing completion. It just looks like it might be
I agree this route from JTs does look very impressive and certainly as good as the standard set with Blackpool Branches.
Yeah I think we're in for a bit of a treat

@@leegrant6840 it does look decent from what we've seen so far so given the other route they made was so good I expect this one to be pretty good
How different will justrains wcml be from dtgs wcml
Dtgs is in modern day and Just trains is in the br era and just trains is longer than dtgs wcml
