I worked at a mom n pop’ video game store from 94-2001 as my 1st job. What a great experience. Being there as every system dropped and game released in that time. Early E3 days, discounts and bringing new games home every night, having the keys to place and stopping by late to play with my friends on multiple TV’s. I saw everything come out new, from Turbo Duo, N64, PlayStation, Jaguar.. etc, etc. Spoiled 90’s. 😊

My future BIL had an Intellivision when he started dating my older sister in 1984. I played a fookton of Intellivison games on that. We didn't get a console until 1985, and it was a Colecovision which had superior graphics compared to the Intellivison, but BIL then upped the ante and bought an NES in 1987. I got an NES a few months later and a Sega Master System. BIL then got a Sega Genesis in 1990 which I didn't get til 1993. That was my last console for a long time (and put away) due to being busy with college and work. In late 1990s I got back into it and bought an SNES off ebay, and then PS2, GameCube, Wii, Xbox 360, Xbox One and now Xbox Series S. I wanna buy some classic consoles again. This channel is fueling that. :)

    Fun vlog, awesome stash.
I do have a bit of history with the "Intellivision". I watched the AVGN episode "Double Vision Part 1", one of Atari's best competitors. I then owned a "Plug n' Play" of Intellivision, but probably the best thing I owned of the Intelleivision was a PS2 compilation called "Intellivision Alive". Really showed the staying power that console had.
Also never heard of the "Microvision", truly looks like a true relic that predated stuff like the Nintendo Game n' Watch and Game Boy. Also someone obiviously someone didn't like their PS4 to turn it in in that condition. Glad Tobi and you cleaned it and breathed new life to it. Hopefully whoever buys it will show it more love and respect. :)

Just got back from a suprise weekend my wife set up. We went to Plano TX and hit up the Retrocade. A place you pay one price 12 bucks a person and you can play all these vintage arcade games free play style also had a bar. The next day she took me to the National Video Game Museum where you can also play everything from electronic football to Smash Bros. Then that evening she took me to Nerdvana a video game restaurant. They set you up at a table with a console of your choosing NES and up and play as long as you want. Also on a side note their food was on point. They pride themselves for making scratch made dishes and their cocktails were awesome.

Y'all should put larger holes in the PS4 case (curling iron or soldering gun), paint it lunar grey and dub it the "cratered moon edition" and sell it for $600 as a Radjunk store special edition. Nothing wrong with a "rough" product, as they do exist and bargain hunters won't mind if a little bit of dough is knocked off the sales price, but just pay 30 percent less or so upfront for it.

I never knew about the first portable console that used cartridges. That's pretty cool. Before that, there were portable single games like the Mattel Electronic Football game and other sports games that followed. I remember in the early 80s having some of the "portable," Coleco table top games and a couple of driving games that were built like small arcade cabinets. The driving games were actually mechanical with some electronic lights and sound effects. I also had a 1980 knock-off handheld Space Invaders game made by Entex. It was hilariously called Space Invader without the S on the end, and completely unlicensed.

Also, I'm old enough that I had an Atari 2600/5200 and Commodore64. As crusty as they look today, back then, we loved them. And trust me, for folks old enough to have been there, the most awe inspiring moment in video games, was EASILY seeing/playing the original NES, and seeing how far advanced that was from the old Atari systems. Good times!!!

Just found your channel. I'm in FL as well and would love to visit the store someday. How do you keep up with the ever changing prices of games? Do you track the rare games and constantly adjust the prices as they fluctuate?

Love the vids. What mic do you use for the videos. The sound is so crisp.
