I've watched a million and one dog training videos, but somehow you make it so much more clear and easy to remember than the rest. I just appreciate you so much! Getting my first puppy in a few weeks, and I know you'll be a lifesaver through that process. Thank you!!
Wow, I am really amazed! Thank you so much for these tips. My 8 week old Havanese puppy learned the principle of fetch in only 15 minutes and he is now able to get the toy for me, let go, sit and wait for 5 seconds until I throw it again. I never imagined that he would learn so fast!
Routine of a play time has really helped us BOTH, so puppy us tired and I can work on the computer after. Thnk u! Ur videos are SOOOO helpful.....I gleen something new every time I rewatch them!
Great advice! I will be having my first pup next week and I am still learning plenty about how to handle a pup. It's overwhelming yet looking forward to an extraordinary experience. The best channel to watch about dogs so far! Appreciated your sharing. So precise!
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I am enjoying it! I massage my puppy as well. I use a technique my daughter used to put her daughter to sleep. She massaged her forehead. I then massage my dog's chest and other areas. I might try giving my dog Reiki, if possible (it might be trick!). I only have Level one qualification.
Mellemud 😍 appreciate that brother I really do! I try my absolute best to break down everything in dog training and make it make sense! Thanks again for the comment mate! It helps my channel grow which helps me help more dogs, Means a lot! 🙏🏼👊🏼
Always great content. Will change up how I play fetch as I was taking the ball from shadows mouth. She was still bringing it and leaving but will try this.
Great advice and ways to tire out a puppy. Sadly none of these things work for my puppy. She NEVER settles outside of her crate. We know she's tired enough to sleep, but when we try any "off switch" she's up in 2 seconds and looks for anything to bite like face, stairs, table, couch etc.. She has actually never been able to remain calm outside of her crate.
Hey coach. Another great video! We had great success with many of the same activities with our first Rotty that we lost last year. Our new Rotty puppy arrives in 2-3 weeks and we’ll be starting all over again. Great to see these refreshers. We did fail to apply these to our Belgian Mal mix when younger and am struggling to get her to focus now. Would love some tips on harder-to-train situations. Also, just curious if you’ve thought of wearing a mic. Eliminating that mild echo would take your videos to the next level. I guess it would be hard to secure one while messing with active dogs. Keep up the great work though. Looking forward to the next one.
I will definitely be covering the harder to to train dogs for sure so keep a look out! And you’re 100% right! I deffo need a mic! All of the negative comments on my channel have all been about the sound 🤦🏻♂️🙈 I think that’s a good thing though! 😅 deffo will try and improve the sound ASAP!!!
my puppy is 9 weeks and in teaching how to play she does a growl and bites at my feet. I think she gets too wound up playing. Aside from just switching activities to make her stop, is there something else i can do or should be aware of?
I'm having a similar issue, gets very growly and pouncie when we try take stuff away that he shouldn't have. If we take it he gets very nippy. Question is will this promote agression. ?? Love her vids.our 10wk old cockapoo sits fetches and nearly heels. Great vids.
My puppy also jumps up during tug like the dog you are playing with. She also jumps up when she comes back with the ball during fetch... is that okay for dog manners?
during this game i really dont mind! i really just want the engagement! this is where he can be crazy and have zoomies! its important to show the dog that its only acceptable in this scenario though! hope this helps!
Can I ask how I respond when the puppy doesn't bring it back? I've got an 8 week old cavapoo and he jumps to the rope and then lyes down with it. When I try and encourage him back he just looks at me and stays where he is!
For anyone wondering the same; you tie a rope or something to the tug, then you´re Abel to throw it but never let og of it. When puppy fetches the toy you start animating it to show you´re the onde making it fun to play with.
And here I was told to never let your dog win in tug because it will allow them to think they are alpha male ... I’m new to al this and my pup is 12 weeks old and I’m happy this video put that to rest ..
Hey! Yeah try some nice chews or a nice kong! Also look at tiring the pup out with training before pup goes into the crate! Alssso short trips in the day where pups could get used to being in there before night time! Hope this helps :)
You can tire your puppy out physically all day long but if they aren’t mentally stimulated and tired they will be very prone to destructive bursts of energy and biting

I’m so happy you’re giving instructions on how to play/Tarim with your dog.

Thanks for the tips! We have a 15 week rottie and it certainly feels that nothing can tire her out 😂 gotta love enforced naps! Gonna try the last tip!
Brilliant!

Great advice that I'm going to try today on my dobermann boy Rainn 😁
Still waiting to get my puppy but excited to try out your tips in a couple of weeks when our puppy arrives. Great video. Thanks

Thank you for this, our puppy will climb all over while I’m trying to teach it tricks or playing tug of war, any suggestions?
I love all your videos, thanks!

Only change it if your way isnt working! theres always always different ways to teach!

Haha I know all about the myths!! I don’t think Aegon thinks he’s my boss though, do you? Looks to me like he thinks we’re best pals 😉😆
The focus technique combined with the stop command during tug shows who is in charge/ command. I’m enjoying watching your techniques.
I have 9 week old pup he soo relaxed let him play with the soft ball then sleeps 😂😂
hahaha bless the little cutie! im sure he will liven up as he gets a bit older lol
Any tips on stopping a puppy crying in crate?
