I’m really hoping and praying my parents agree on getting me a puppy, I’ve been doing research and budgeting and even contacted a vet for reference 😭 I really want a dog
My mom and my brother have been in on getting a dog for years but my dad always thought they were a lot of work and we “weren’t ready” and he’s right but.. today is a new day.. today however he said he’ll “think about it” I am taking that little piece of knowledge and holding it. Today is my day to show him what we can do!
We just got a dog yesterday. Maltese cross shitzu. Very trusting. He is potty trained and he trusts me very much. He already lets me pat his exposed belly. He is under 2 monthes. He also knows sit aswell. He chews alot and he is not even up to his teething stage! But a lovely dog. Never let him out of my sight, and he wouldn't let me leave him alone.
Guys, the heartbeat dog is amazing! We have moved from needed it now but it made that 1st month soooo easy ! Pro tip if possibly take it and have them rub it on the Momma dog !

We have had our Australian Shepherd for now three to four days, one we got from a Trudeau family member breeder the other a AKC American Kennel Club breeder. Their doing good and are happy. Their basically treated as if they're the children of the house, even though they have a job of ESA/Service Dog

Hi, I just got a Goldendoodle puppy 9 weeks old, male and have had him for one week. I have a 12-year-old Golden Receiver at home. they are getting along great. I have been using my crate and it is working out great. Puppy is out of the crate at 7am and goes in a crate if I am leaving the house or showering and can't keep an eye on him. He cries just a little but stops after a minute. Potty training is going great a few accidents but most of the time he is very good to go to the sliding glass door to be let out. I take him out every hour and walk him to the edge of the deck and watch him go and tell him good boy and give him a treat and tell him "good boy". I loved your video and will watch all the rest. Brought my puppy (8 week - female golden retriever) home a week ago. Wish I had found your video series BEFORE I picked her up. I am learning so much useful information that would have prevented some of the unwanted behavior I am now trying to correct. My Shih Tzu puppy is coming in 5 or 6 weeks! Some time in October. I can't wait! You have finally convinced me to put him in the crate for the ride home instead of my lap or my puppy shoulder bag although I don't like it. ;) Thank you for your videos. Good choice! When bringing my dachshund home 3 years ago we brought him in one of those dog carrier things (not a crate) and put a towel down in case he got sick, surprisingly, he didn’t. He is in my icon to.

We are getting a German shepherd and golden retriever mix beautiful puppy this Sat. She will be 10 weeks old and her name is Luna. Right now she is black with her legs and feet fading to silver. She will be my new Service Dog 🐕🦺 My current SD, named Lana, is a black lab and she is over 11 years old. She will be retiring from her duties in a couple of years. I will be bringing a puppy home next week, we think. I can’t drive anything but a manual wheelchair. So my house is open so I can get my chair around when I’ve had a seizure. My son is 7, and is so excited! My house is honestly very open, and the only doors are the front doors, bathroom door and water heater. I’m just trying to make sure I can make the safest environment for Scooby with the way my house is built. S😊
You might want to get a pen for the puppy and put it somewhere it doesn't obstruct your movement. Too much freedom could lead to a lot more potty accidents!

I have a 5 yo female Shih Tzu. I will be gettting an 8 week old female Shih Tzu puppy in two weeks on Oct. 11. I am very excited but also nervous. I am taking at least two weeks off of work to help them socialize. Also, I work from home, so this will help, too.
I have a 15 week old Morkie mix who just started the bitting and licking behavior yesterday. I thought she was having an allergic reaction to the grass until she jumped on top of the crate trying to get out. Will being more consistent with the crate/play pen area help? She’s in there for most of the day, ( we do take her out of course to play and whatnot & blinds closed so she isn’t overstimulated) and seems comfortable for the most part. I’m not sure if it’s just the Maltese in her that makes her needy? I make sure she has all of her needs taken care of before I put her in there ex :exercise, food,and water. I’m just trying to make sure she doesn’t get anxiety :(

This is really helpful! I'm a bit confused about why you'd want a dog to use a potty rather than go on the grass but otherwise really useful.

My new puppy is coming on Wednesday!! He is a mini goldendoodle!!
I have a 15 week old Morkie mix who just started the bitting and licking behavior yesterday. I thought she was having an allergic reaction to the grass until she jumped on top of the crate trying to get out. Will being more consistent with the crate/play pen area help? She’s in there for most of the day, ( we do take her out of course to play and whatnot & blinds closed so she isn’t overstimulated) and seems comfortable for the most part. I’m not sure if it’s just the Maltese in her that makes her needy? I make sure she has all of her needs taken care of before I put her in there ex :exercise, food,and water. I’m just trying to make sure she doesn’t get anxiety :(
