I have a feeling that Starfield will be getting DLC for the next 10 years. I don't think there will be a sequel. The core game is so large that it's almost a platform to build upon with tons of new content.
Why can't you people grow up? You think a successful new ip won't get a sequel because cry babies on the internet 😂
I wish they would have made a better main story for it though. The multiverse angle is great if you want to turn it into a rogue-lite but so many quests are super linear with little choice despite the game being about choices more than any of their other games yet. And just how uninteresting they made it at times. It feels too bland and safe for the most part.
@@Chad4401 I think you have misunderstood OP. They are not saying it will be abandoned. They are saying it could end up just receiving updates that fill the galaxy up as much as possible rather than making a sequel. Similar to No Man’s Sky. If it does get a sequel it is set up to be pushed out further since they have a solid platform to support for longer. This will ultimately make the time waiting for a sequel much better IMO.
@@Chad4401they'd make way more money selling one $30 DLC every six months than waiting 10 years to release one $65 sequel.
@Chad4401 if anything itll get an online version like fallout 76 and elder scrolls online, at least I can hope
Man, if they give me a ground vehicle builder like they have for ships, I will be very happy. Easily half my time in SF is in the shipbuilder.
Saaaame!!!
Yo that's a sick idea. if they do that it could turn there quite empty planets into the ultimate race tracks or like a new sort of miny game where you gotta build a rover to handle a planets terrain.
in the story there were mechs, imagine if they introduced mechs, WITH a mechbuilder like the ships have
I fought an ATST with a lightsaber today 🤌🏻
I’m not a Star Wars fan but I admit that some of the armor mods are pretty cool so I download them. But I want more weapon mods and quest mods! I don’t want my Starfield to turn into Star Wars
Mods have made Starfield Amazing!!!
I imagine that vehicles will be tied with a ship or outpost update unless we
Build and summon them anywhere like in no man sky
Been playing since launch with no intentions of stopping
I hope we get some new dialogue from npcs and especially the companions with regards to the vehicles. It'd be fun to hear our companions shrieking in terror as we drive like maniacs lmao
Quite like the look of Shattered Space DLC, The whole House Va'run was a big thing left out of the base game. Land vehicles looks good too, I hope there is at least 3 different types (one for each ship type- A, B & C ) and that these are moddable.
I've just spotted a on Nexus called "Your Personal Spacestation" that I'm going to take a look at tonight. Hopefully, Bethesda puts spacestations into the game and they are usable for manufacturing/ storage and they something you can alter too 😀
I started playing again and have been having fun. Ive always had fun playing this game. contrary to public believe I enjoy it.
I would pay for an official Bethesda mod that makes Vasco customizable. And also makes it possible to have Vasco plus another companion. Like Dogmeat in Fallout
How about REALLY flying your space craft. Entering and leaving planets, planetary travel and inter systems between planets 👍
You, and many others, are looking for a different game. Those features were never planned to be a part of this one.
Seeing you yeet a grenade reminded me of something....Ive been hoarding grenades n mines since the start...got hundreds now...i think Il out some skill Points for my grenades...n yeet some myself 😅😂
We need a SF companion like Inigo in Skyrim.
5 year plan and Todd’s dream game game as a boy
hopefully shattered space adds some interesting characters and locations that arent affected by their consultants for the base game.
Dropped a Like Light, good vid 👍
Thanks!
Thank you so much!❤
The thing in my opinion is the game works better as a star wars rpg the fact that people are say starfield is the best star war rpg just say tbat there a spot in the market that Disney is just ignoring
StarWars-Field
10 years of updates sounds like 10 years of breaking mods.
Well unfortunately that's the risk you run with modding. Bethesda are allowed to update their own game🤷🏻♂️
@@Light-YT I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to update their game for ten years. I question the reasoning behind it and feel it runs counter to wanting to support modders because really who's going to stick around for ten years to keep up with it especially if it's a bigger and more complex mod?
@RED_Theory038 I am, the reason mods are so popular is because it adds content to games that no longer or hardly receive content. So if Bethesda is gonna be pushing out dlc for the next 10 years then mods are truly secondary.
so just like all their other games? i mean i do agree they could find ways to make it easier, but its no different than what already been. i also like to add that skyrim had 2 updates that were pretty much vital to the modding community. special edition allowed for mods we could never do before and a later update did the same
I think land v is Julys update
The free roam exploration and traveling made me hate the game when I've loved all other Bethesda games besides fallout 76.
I hope we get a Star Wars ship parts mod on xbox soon.
The avontech mod adds some wings that are half of an X and the tie fighter wings

Wish I could play. I'm getting an endless RELOADING... on creations and the game itself won't load.
Sounds like you need to clear your modlist and restart on a new save
Love your accent
Only thing I would love to see is you actually fix your game, so I can actually play it, that's what I'd like to see that going on in Starfield. How about you fix the studdering, rubberbanding, stuttering, lockups, laggyness, etc. etc and constant crashing, all this still even this far after launch. Looks like everything stops and pauses like a strobe light set on real slow. Yous made NO real fixes to PC, are yous ever gonna ??. Alot of you companies add stuff to the game without fixing the game first, try that it might work.
2:24 kind of a bummer to think about Bethesda dropping support for Starfield in the next year or two... it still feels like the game is not finished yet. So much potential that might go untapped. To me, the mod community is great, but there's nothing like the official content.
?? They're not dropping support in the next couple of years. They're likely to drop support when TES VI releases, in like 5 or 6 years
@Light-YT ohh ok, I just assumed the worst. I'm okay with ES6 taking that long, then. Hopefully that will be more than enough time for Starfield.
Would like to see dlc where you can get the really really big ships and take a shuttle down instead of landing the ship
Starfield was DOA as soon as it became evident, you cannot mod this version only that version, stupid limits like reactors, what happened to the open sandbox?
I bought an Xbox X just for this game & have been playing since launch. I've made it my sandbox in the stars
@@Tenebrous227 I got mine in May for Starfield and just finished the main quest because I kept putting it off. I liked the faction quests waaaaay more. I'm gonna take a break then come back to it and make it my cozy planet surveying game with occasional jaunts of bounty hunting lol
@wordyblerd7723 Can you believe i haven't done the questlines other than UC? I've just been roaming around doing my own thing like I did in fallout 4 & absolutely love it. Been mainly focused on leveling up for perks. Hovering over a planet right now about to get into base building
@@Tenebrous227 Omg the UC quest is sublime. What other stuff have you been doing?! Maybe I can get some ideas. I haven't gone out to every star system or planet. Is it worth it? I don't mind doing repetitive procedurally generated bases to grind for XP or finish a quest but Fallout and Elder Scrolls had actual random quest lines you could get into by exploring. Are there any in Starfield not attached to a specific faction?
Honestly I've been grinding UC Vanguard radiants for xps, credits, & resources for building. Hit level 82 which got me all the skills I wanted immediately both for ships & outpost building. Life has been hectic so the radiants were perfect for me. Also gave Bethesda time to fix the game. I left off yesterday dancing with Sarah on some party ship that's a random encounter. Everyone is drunk & floating in zero G. After I get some outposts going I'll start the questline. Tbh I've never played Bethesda for questlines but for the freedom to just do whatever I want however & whenever. I love this game
