The interesting thing about that EM gun is that, if you knock them out, you cannot loot them, because, technically I guess, they are still alive. However, if you have the pickpocket skill, you can do so, and get what they have.
I didn't know you can collect on wild bounties like that, so bonus. On alive bounties I usually unalive them after the mission clears for loot purposes. 😅
there's a mod on nexus that fixes the lack of xp gain for em weapon take downs. so if you're trying to do a mostly non lethal play through you can and still get xp. there's also a mod that let's you strip dead or unconscious npcs of their gear. there's even visual effects if you strip a space suit off of someone in a cold atmosphere, they freeze up and turn blue.
These are the original Claymore III 'refit' videos. I used to throw them away at times due to the shield bug, so I had a base process for every time I picked one up (or went through NG+). Decorating the Claymore III th-cam.com/video/Z3O4R5hgcPY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p53M3UcNxoLEkLg1 I haven't done an update lately so you're looking at the new "Armory + Workshop" modifications. I didn't do that build part on video though. I did these mostly so I could keep a few spacesuits nearby. In this video I set out all the recent DLC gear, but normally I'd have a few sets of environmentally relevant spacesuits along with weapons. I will note the lighting canisters made a huge difference in this space, but they did come from the paid Ancient Mariners DLC. It's pricey at $10 USD, but has lighting options and an infinite storage giant chest that can also be built on a ship.
Good call. If the site is already hostile, no harm done and you get the loot. I did this in a Crimson Fleet site once and they were fine with me stunning the guy, but when I took him out permanently they turned hostile. Replayed it and took a stealth shot from cover and no one noticed.
@@kineer In the towns the security turn up if you stun or persuade them to had them self in. But the loot caves, no security turn up, I see it as waste of trip if you dont loot, stun then guaranteed seek kill one shot lvl 98 with hard target or breach
As an EM gun fan and so disappointed that there is only one EM weapon in the game, your modification is a great idea! Thanks for the showcase! Some questions - What is the blue bar below the health bar? - Also how are you flying so high with your boost pack? A mod? - Did you add points into the Incapacitation skill? If Level 4, then the EM damage must be incredibly high
Thanks. - The blue bar represents the Starborn Power I like to call 'star mana'. It's used when you fire off a power and regenerates over time. - The only mods I have are StarUI (Inventory, Workbench, and Outpost / PC) - I've maxed out boostpack related skills, but no mod. Just a balanced pack. - No points in Incapacitation.
This is the original build. th-cam.com/video/jr1gb6C858I/w-d-xo.html I also do the first two UC Vanguard quests to get the particle weapons. I ended up replacing later when the shield bug took it out. I tend to hunt Claymore IIIs on remote moons and treat them as semi-disposable. Later, I decorated one of the habs. th-cam.com/video/Z3O4R5hgcPY/w-d-xo.html
Did you find a solution. I saw people saying they had to switch weapons and it would reset. Someone else mentioned dropping it (on the ground) and picking it back up. Others just the typical log off and back in. I've not had this happen so I can only pass those along.
But maybe you checked that Weapons Depot Kill( 3rd mission) ALSO, Ive been using Batman(Ben Affleck mod) and my Syndicate enforcer Dark Saber( SW weapon conversion mod also Xbox) pair that with the Better jetpack( free version also) And Starfield Cities have a totally different style ❤ Add in Star wars Aliens with Thicc mod😂 And you will experience true Nirvana🎉
I appreciate the reminder the other day. I also just took my level 19 (with some survival settings) through the Tracker's quests to get the rifle as well. Definitely took more time to get through the Vulture. I wanted to confirm that it does not require any Skills to convert the rifle to EM. Then did a tour of major cities sleeping troublemakers. All fun.
You may be right on that. I didn't notice until testing this. On my earlier tests (and just normal play), I picked up a small bounty (650) and it was immediately removed once I destroyed the ship. I could have been locking on as a reflex and just didn't this time. In the test I used for the video, the extra 15k is unusual for me.
well damn, didn't even try to modify it yet though I saved it (my main is a pistol/melee type for now, though inevitably everyone can be everything all at once). That being an EM sniper with a massive amount of damage on it is pretty huge. Could forsee something of a pacifist playthrough with something like that (much as the game will let you at any rate, I assume some things need to die).
Interesting side note, my level 18 (survival) character ended up with almost identical damage output as my level 150. Both were close to 300 EM. It's a very nice weapon, especially for a lower level character. The Vulture quest was a little more work with the lower level and difficulty nudged up, but that just made it more fun. Will be doing this on every playthrough/character.
I believe it's unmatched as an EM weapon, but there are viable alternatives for DPS. So unless (until) I can get two of them, I'm sticking with my Hard Target for DPS.
My rifle no longer reloads. I can drop it, and it will reload. I've stripped all the attachments and stored it in my inventory, and I still can't get it to reload. I'm not sure what else I could do. Anyone else see this bug on Xbox X?
@@kineer That bug with the Arboron Sniper has been there since day one on Xbox - the only solution I have seen so far is what you mentioned, drop it and pick it up again. Not exactly "fast reloading" friendly.
The only problem I have with reloading that rifle is if I get hit by melee when trying to load. Other than that, it has always reloaded for me. I am on PC and not Xbox.
The interesting thing about that EM gun is that, if you knock them out, you cannot loot them, because, technically I guess, they are still alive. However, if you have the pickpocket skill, you can do so, and get what they have.
I will definitely try that.
I think Shade’s Immersive Looting mod fixes this so you can loot knocked out enemies :)
Well, now I know what I'm doing after work. That rifle is awesome.
It's fun.

Good point.
On the second quest were the target was standing is the computer that opens the door for the “chest” Great content…take care stay safe ✌️
Fantastic. I jumped back over, grabbed the chest. Legendary Suit and 2 Astras.
So wise , Thank You . Now to remember and execute , and remember to crouch
I'm committed to stealth as a first option.

There are two books with some lore about the history of the Alliance in the HQ, too

Hey Kineer, a little off topic but the interior of your ship looks very well done. Did you do a build vid on it by chance? Thx!

I was rushing through trying to keep the video short. I did end up going back through at least one site and recovering a few more items.
Soon as I got that rifle, I went to a bench to see what mods can be done, saw EM, silencer and scope.... Hmmm.
