Overall styling looks good. No rear window is pretty wild. I'd imagine that would take some time getting used to. My guy Mike D nice work as always brother!
Thanks for checkin it out, BD! And tbh, it didn’t take long to get used to that window missing, but then again i was driving on roads in Spain so i didn’t know where i was going right in front of me majority of the time 😭

@@beardown6574 it was!!! Well, when it was my turn to drive. I was sooo carsick from riding shotgun going thru the mountains and BOTH my driving partners were pushing this thing to the limit. I think i’ll be driving first on these trips from now on 😭😫
I think that the Polestar 3 & Polestar 4 cars are very great looking cars. It's a shame that there are no Polestar dealerships in southwest Pennsylvania. The closest Polestar dealerships are approximately 2.5 hours or more away.
You will have to go to Princeton mostly, I think they are opening one in Philly soon

I've tried the Polestar 4 and lack of a rear window is a DEAL BREAKER. I don't think delivery won't happen until 2026 until they can produce this outside of China for import into the US.
I’ve tried it and it’s no big deal at all…. My kids will love the headroom increase more than I miss the rear glass
Not a problem at all. I have had many station wagons and when fully loaded you do not see anything from rear view mirror. Now you have camera and can see very well.
Overall design and materials look premium. Front end gives me Urus vibes. Naming convention could use some work though. Nice first drive, International Mike!

Not having phsical buttons is one thing to deal with, but no rear mirror? I have used rear view camera and it's not the same because your eyes need to adjust for the distance (from far to near and from near back to the far) every time, many times. I feel like designing a normal car is going to be competitive advantage moving forward.

Really pretty with a nice interior, just wish so much wasn't in the screen, especially the air vents.
Full glass roof is good in the winter but it sure burn hot in the summer.
There’s an option to have an electric opaque-tinting glass roof that will help out

Was expecting a bit more range. I have a dual motor ioniq 6 which costs nearly half of what this does, is older and gets more range than the 270 this gets.
How's that an SUV? If anything, it's a hatchback.
Why can a camera rear view mirror be acceptable but not cameras for side mirrors.

5 is a low slung sedan, and 6 is a convertible roadster.

The Polestar 7 is going to be the compact sedan replacement for the Polestar 2. I don't think Polestar is ever going to make a truck, because they're more of a sporty, European brand like Porsche or BMW.

Yeah $64k is a steep price. BUT it does have hella tech, looks good, and it’s pretty quick. But $$$$ yeeeeeesh
The price is very fair for this level of vehicle quality, build, equipment, tech and dynamics.

Is the PS4 made in China like the PS3? No issues because the majority of Teslas are also made in China.
The polestar 3 will also be built in the US, and the Polestar 4 will have manufacturing in S. Korea starting in 2025.

The manufacturer is the one calling it an SUV. Supposedly because sedan sales are stagnant in some parts of the world.

Polestar is failing, so do not have big expectations, they will follow fisker and other evs will have the same destiny, it is karma!
Polestar has been on the downswing because for years becahse all they've sold is an electric sedan in an auto market where no one is looking for sedans...much less electric ones. I think the Polestar 3 and 4 will save the brand; they're not going to have the issues that the Ocean had because they've ironed out a lot of the bugs via the Polestar 2.
Plus, Polestar is backed by Geely, which is a huge automaker in itself. Just like how Buick and Chrysler are doing terrible but have the financial support of GM, Polestar is the same boat. Unless the 3 and 4 sell absolutely terrible, I don't see a world where Polestar goes bankrupt.
