I took the girdle off and replaced it with splayed billet 4bolt mains on 2-4 on my Windsor block and my girdle no longer fit. I made 720 with wedge heads 2.08 intake valve heads with 215 runners before port work. I shifted @ 8700 with 3.75 stroke and 4.030 bore in my Windsor powered maverick. I used to run Cleveland’s but got tired of the 3/7 rod bearing starving even with oil passage work restrictors. I never had a a complete failure but changed the 3/7 bearings every year for safety’s sake. No problems with the Windsor block but it doesn’t have the high RPM charge without the canted valve heads. I never have to do anything but change oil and check valve lash in the Windsor. It’s a a street car as I don’t care for bracket racing.

@@DragBoss351Cleveland That was one of the nicest cranks I’ve ever seen. If it doesn’t pass the integrity inspection at the grinder, maybe Molnar will have a crank and rods to suit your needs. The Callies assembly is a consideration too. It’s going to be a killer no matter what 🏁

I wonder if there is a heat range color chart for metal that tells the temperature it got to? Good to see you in action in the garage.
Is that a stock stroke crank?? And those rods look like they took alot of heat! Do you dare resize & reuse them rods??
