I just bought a Morning Glory v4 because of this video. Absolutely fabulous sounding pedal. First band rehearsal and first gig with the new pedal last night - the MG blew me away. Always on - every single sound that night was the MG and every sound was superb!
I had one for a long time, I’m using the magpie, rook, and notaklon right now, and i may add the MG again, so similar to the magpie but it’s got that jangle

Me too. I' back again. I have bought so many BB-style pedals! They stack wonderfully, especially with a TS-style pedal or Booster upfront before all the BB's

I think the lesson here is: the Keeley 1962 is fan-freakin'-tastic and extraordinarily overlooked. I've had one for about a year and it continues to impress and inspire me, just as much as my KoT. Well done, Robert Keeley & Co.
Dave T you know in superman 3 where superman goes heel and gets drunk and straightens the Eiffel Tower and then has to be strangled to death by his good self? That’s Mick without Blue.

Funnily enough when Chris mentioned his Bluesbreaker was likely to die on him at some point I had recommended the BlackBox 2 as a replacement as it's the closest thing. I've had one for years, I tried the KOT but that came and went. The BB2 remained. It's super quiet in operation, a testament to the handwired build quality. And if you boost it with something like a Lovepedal COT it sounds immense. Mine only has 3 switches, the 4 switch version only just came out. They're on special right now. Tempted to get a second, such a versatile little pedal. Thanks guys, another thoroughly enjoyable hour. Welcome back Blue and Red.
When I was at University in 1966, a jazz buff called me into his room to hear the sax intro to “Have You Heard” on the “Beano” record. I was suitably impressed-and then came Eric Clapton’s solo, which changed this guitarist’s life. I switched from acoustic to electric and never looked back. Had a Guvner pedal in the 90s and loved it.
Great point. It took a lot of watching TPS and also Guitar Paradiso and Guitarist vids w/ Mick for me (American) to realize "Come on then" doesn't me "STFU;" it's much more "let's hear it" than "stop talking and play."
Mick, don't pay any mind to the negative comments. I know you likely monitor the feed the most and as a result are exposed to the pit of idiocy that is TH-cam comment sections. I know that's easier said than done since you care so much but I always keep in mind that for every 100 people who enjoy something maybe 10 will be vocal about it whereas it's nearly the opposite for people who are negative. The amount of likes and support you guys get appeal to the former, never stop doing you guys and thanks for engaging and listening to the community even through the nonsense. It's appreciated
Thank you Justin, that means a great deal to me. We’ve all learned a lot about the nature of negativity since the world turned to social media. It actually really helps to say it out loud among friends (you lot) as a bit of therapy. We are so grateful to have some much support and kindness... and yet the bad comments still drag you down. Thank you for the positivity!
Drive Master! That's the pedal Dan was trying to remember in the beginning. He was right in saying that the Guv'nor came out first (1988 to be exact) and then was followed up in the 90s with the Marshall Blues Breaker (modeled after JTM45 / Blues Breaker), Drive Master (modeled after JTM800) and the Shred Master (a high gain alternative, marketed towards the "shred" guitarists who were very popular at the time). Anyway, great episode as always!
Hey guys. Please don't pay attention to the negative comments. For old pickers like me, TPS is the new sitcom that I look forward to now on Friday after work. Keep it up as long as you can.
Please do Tweeds next! I've tried a few - Bearfoot Honey Bee and Uber Bee, MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe, Lovepedal HPTT - I have my fave but I'm not saying yet.... Listen to Can't You Hear Me Knocking (Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers). That tone. Glorious....
MI is a Tweed thing? I thought it was a hot-rodded Tubescreamer. I have an early prototype that Mike hastily housed and labeled. It's magic! I agree they should do Tweeds. My money is on the Wampler '57.
The Pantheon does indeed have its Presence control default at all the way off! It gets sizzly very fast but just a touch of it can add a little nice, well, presence to a dark guitar. It didn't get a totally fair shot because of that I think, so it's probably worth exploring again. I've been digging mine!
I believe (though I could be wrong!) the Guv'nor was the original MIAB pedal and the first Marshall pedal...then that split off into the trio of the Bluesbreaker, Drivemaster (which I THINK is identical to the Guv) and the Shredmaster in the early '90s...so that trio is Low/Medium/High gain. I've got a Guv and BB...both incredible boxes!!
Mick, if and when neuroscience is able to download our memories to digital media, please allow them to download your guitar skills and send me the file. I really never cease to be impressed by your taste and craftsmanship. Man, you're unbelievable.
You guys are Phenomenal. T.P.S. is Wildly Successful. Ignore the Negativity ( just be yourselves ) - "There is Always A Lemon in the Crowd" . . .The Keeley 1962x Sounded Phenomenal. Really Liked the Snouse - too. Very versatile pedal.
At 14:46 there was what looked like a miscommunication in hand gestures. The “stop - don’t change anything” combined with the “I’m excited! We’re excited! Let’s high five” that turned into a very awkward double high five was absolutely incredible. Haha I love you guys!
Interesting with the Pantheon. Wampler recommend running with the presence off and adding a little, that way you loose the top end. I can attest it's a great pedal and is so much more than just a Blues Breaker. However the remit here was Blues Breaker and I guess some of the others did that a little better albeit with less options. Pantheon still my personal winner though.
Grumpy? People suck. They’re also awesome, especially you two, so carry on and apologize for nothing. This hour of horn-honking, rambling tonal conjecture continues to teach me something new week after week, even after more than 25 years playing the guitar. Cheers!
LOVE Snouse. I have an old BlueLine they made that was a predecessor to the BlackBox. Super in-depth tonal tweaking with three (!!!) tone controls: one before gain, one at the gain stage, and one presence knob post-gain. Three different clipping diode options, three ways to run it (clean boost, overdrive, and a gutsy Fat Boost), the option to have the drive boost bright frequencies or run very smoothly, AND a switchable clean boost. My favorite drive pedal, and my favorite BB circuit, now and forever. It never sounds bad.
I have the original Snouse, it's dated 2015 and Ive had it a couple of years. One pedal I could not do without, just superb. I had a bigger Snouse (can't remember what type it was but it was probably the size of a KOT)? Sent that one to my Dad for his Birthday a while back - he loves it. And the guts of them inside are a work of art.
+1 for Snouse! I have the v2 and now waiting for my pro version to arrive. I’ve also owned the Morning Glory, Pantheon and King of Tone, but for me the Snouse just has that extra warmth in the voicing
I came to the comments to tell them about the Blueline as well. Works brilliant as a Strat ‘always on’ preamp. Ought to be widely known and commercially available. So many layers of customization - tone controls at each stage, diode options (LED, Ger, Si), boost options, bright/smooth switch, and a boost footswitch with its own dedicated volume knob.
That Keeley 1962x has to be the sexiest looking overdrive ever! sounds really good too. BTW. I used to be in a band that played ancient Roman music..yes..we were a Tribune band.
Great show guys....Think you missed it on the Pantheon though. It is a great pedal but takes some time-not saying it is better than the others but think you all were moving things around so fast, that you missed that small adjustments make a really big difference and that the knobs are very interactive with one another. It is a good one from my perspective and I have been through a ton of OD pedals over the years. I also wonder if you guys get ear fatigue at a certain point when filming. BTW, we need a Marshall show with Johan!!!!!!
I just bought a Wampler Egocompressor and went through the same thing. I'm used to putting all the knobs straight up and expecting a pretty good sound, but with Wampler pedals you have to figure out what the knobs really do and dial it in. Brian Wampler works with a lot of country people and they like their sound bright, so a lot of his pedals have a tone or presence knob. But turning it off doesn't hurt the signal.
I feel this incredibly strong need every friday to comment about how important and influential TPS has been in my musical and personal life. I still can’t quite find the words, but the day will come. All the love ❤️
Stoked to see the JHS Morning Glory on TPS, it's a pedal I absolutely love and use as my "always on" pedal more like a pre-amp that drives my whole pedal board and less as an "overdrive". I love stacking it with an OCD when I need a little more grit or straight into a compressor for my "clean but not too clean" sound.
Bought my Blues Breaker pedal back in the 90's and can remember being so disappointed! I didn't really know how to get the best out of it. Glad I kept it though as now I'm older and wiser I finally understand!!
Nice! The Pedal Show returns to pedals and that's a good thing. Enjoy some of the other content and it's fun but pedals, pedals, PEDALS!!! So a few things guys. As a big fan of the show (I wait for it every week) I have a suggestion. I wish you guys would quit worrying about haters, shade throwers. Really, I don't care what people are "screaming at the screen" or "que comments" about this, that or the other. Screw it ... do your show. If you are thinking that someone might be wanting you cover a certain aspect of the topic, just cover it. It seems you guys, especially Mick, are a tiny bit over concerned about what "The Internet" are thinking, complaining, preocupied with. The heck with it. If you think it's worth talking about, then talk about it. Mick the mighty blue Strat sounds wonderful, as does Red. YAY!!! The Pedal Show Universe is back where it belongs. On another note, the Blues Breaker is is one of my favorite circuits. Big fan of this pedal. I have been through many. A couple of Honorable Mentions are the Bondi Effects Del Mar, my favorite. And for a low budget versions the Mooer Blues Crab is also a BB circuit/pedal. It's amazingly good sounding and actually $ to $ or # to # the best BB pedal around. But that's all bloody chalk and apples init then? Carry on mates. Good job, love you guys!
dont change the energy of the show, its chill to watch, if a wanted a hyper energetic super happy fake persona there are many other channels to find that, watching you two is watching a conversation/nerdout as it would happen in real life
The drivemaster guys! As far as i know, it's the same circuit as the guv'nor.....i'm a proud owner of a drivemaster :) sounds wonderful...great show as always!
In addition to the comment below I'd like to say that because of the inspiration given me via you two, I have decided to stop flipping pedals that I like in order to get new ones that I don't know if I like. The decree is that from this day forward or until I run out of money and give up...only the turds shall get flipped. I went on a buying spree in the last few weeks so my OD collection is now a TIMMY, Keeley Phat Mod, Keeley Red Dirt Mini, JHS Angry Charlie, Lovepedal's Amp 11, Eternity Burst, Deluxe Blonde and Deluxe 5e3, and a Xotic BB Preamp. Soon to come another KOT as my number came up again. Cheers guys, another great show.
just rewatching this as I 'work' from home. Busted out my R8, my newly acquired KOT and turned on the ol 57 champ reissue at about 2.5, and boom, there's my bluesbreaker claptone - awesome work as always, chaps
Love the blues breaker sound . The "morning glory" has been on my list for a while .I like the Box of rock as well! Mick, you don't need a Les Paul , that 335 sounds amazing ,and even does "that sound" . (...and I am a Les Paul and Strat guy ,only 2 guitars I have ,I play them equal time . )
Love my JTM 45 along with my 25 watt Greenbacks... Best amp I have ever owned... Am using a MP Royal Blue and JHS AT+ (with the gain quite low) I'm still very much at home with the original Blues Breaker tone and sound. Started playing in 1970 when all I had was an Electro Harmonic LPB-1 Booster (Kind'a miss those days)
Funnily enough, you could've included the Morning Glory alongside JHS' Charlie Brown, the CB being a JTM45 amp-in-a-box and the MG being a variant of that 90's Marshall BB pedal. It's worth discussing the difference in mission statements between the amps-in-boxes and the pedal circuit clones/variants.
Your story about the person thinking you’re grumpy reminded me of a trip I took to the UK on which a gregarious Texan complained that the Brits were unfriendly. As a Yankee, I found the people I met quite amiable. You two always seem enthusiastic and passionate about what you’re doing, which along with your playing, gear acumen, and tangents, make TPS so enjoyable.
I bought an original Shredmaster from Cranes in Cardiff in the 90’s. Gigged the hell out of it, loved that pedal.... Found it in a box in my garage last year full of water. 😬
Thanks for mixing in humbucker guitars. I really appreciate it. Great show! Congratulations on getting your beloved guitars back. I think all of your viewers can appreciate the pure joy you showed at having your number one back and in top form! It made me happy for you guys.
No episodes on Wednesday or Thursday?! What gives? Fortunately JHS had a blog on uni-vibes to get me through to today🤪 But seriously, the last three or four TPS shows were great!!! And I’ve been anxiously waiting for this one since you teased us a couple of weeks ago on Instagram. Thanks for all you do 🙌
@@humbucker1414 oh yeah, I did see that one. Technically on reverb though 😉 I was just kidding and giving them a hard time because I know how much work goes into these episodes and they've been spoiling us with three a week.
I`ve been using cort mangan strings for 2 years now, from time to time I buy different strings just for the fun and always regret it. I`m sure you guys are going to love it. Try the pure nickel ones, I generally use pure nickel when I want a more vintage sound and the standard ones for, well, when I want the guitars to sounds more standard.
Super informative. One of your best. Thanks, guys. Marshall Blues Breaker 22:45 JHS Morning Glory 25:16 Keely 1962x 28:31 ZVex Box of Rock 33:43 Snouse Black Box 40:10 Analogman King of Tone 44:52 Wampler Pantheon 55:18
After buying a Morning Glory and a Pantheon, I’ve now just bought a Snouse as a result of this darned video! Edit one year later: Wow - the Snouse is such a fabulous pedal. Love the Pantheon and the Morning Glory too. But the Snouse is just outstanding.
This show has made me realize that you can pretty much get fantastic tones out of any old OD pedal as long as your amp and most importantly your fingers/ears are first-rate.
The original snouse black box / big box version 1 is the best sounding version and, is the best of the bunch IMHO. Thanks for the great vids guys cheers!
Dudes we all love what you do. I wouldn't worry about any criticism of the show too much. It is definitely in a minority and I bet a great deal of it is left in a spirit of love. Just want to say you don't need to dwell on it, you have something brilliant here. Much love
The point about not being able to play and listen critically at the same time is very true. I find when I play, I hear what I think it should sound like (or what I want it to sound like) and not what's actually coming out of the amp.
How come you guys never play together? It'd be great to hear, contextually what those tones sounds like on the different guitars at the same time...(and to hear you guys play together would be great as well)
I have a double barrel v4 which has the morning glory in it. Best pushed-clean tone I’ve ever gotten. Sounds great into every amp I’ve tried it on. Stacks insanely well with TS circuit types.
as for the Morning Glory emblem. JHS is from Kansas City. I would direct you to the Kansas City 'City of Fountains' logo & flag. Although I'm sure Josh is happy to just let the speculation hang there...
I just went to listen to the bluesbreakers album with eric clapton, I juste need this record ! I already knew some songs but the record itself is superbe ! Thank you guys. These days, your are a big inspiration for gear, playing AND discovering super great music/band/musiciens (new and old) ! The link between all those albums I love is the sound and vibe, not that much the style or category (even if there is still some similarities). Thanks again !
A colleague's father used to be in The Wurzels. I remember him getting a call at work, cracking up, and then telling us that his old man had just got stopped by the police for trying to drive a combine harvester through the west end of London.
Makes me feel old that I can remember the adverts doing the rounds in the guitar magazines here in the UK when these were first out, as it was around the time I first picked up the guitar. Certainly been plenty of things over the years that you look back and think, why didn't I get one of those!! On another note, I love my Mythos Daedalus for this type of tone!
For me, it was the Pantheon by a mile. I liked it even more than the KoT, and has more flexibility. The Pantheon Deluxe also has two channels, giving you one that is a direct copy of the Blues Breaker, and one voiced more towards the KoT, giving you the best of both.
The Snouse BB2 did not sound good, because the presense knob was cranked full on and the boost was too low. Analogman ships the presense knob in the completely off position to prevent this user error.
The Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret marshall in a box pedal also is based on a JTM45 when you switch the dip switch to “Super Bass Mode,” instead of the jcm800 in super lead mode.
DLS is a great Marshall sound foundation pedal, you play into it like an amp not out of it like distortion, very different approach which works brilliantly if you're looking for that sound. Howard has an amazing ear for tone and a super creative brain but I bet even he cannot use them both at the same time, Mick :-) Catalinbread are very under-appreciated in the UK, IMHO.

That Pedal Show - The More You Know
...and 8 months later I found one for sale in Australia. *Does the happy dance*
I thought the 1962x might have been the best-sounding pedal in the lot.
That is what I was thinking
Mr. Keeley....I love your pedals, however am broke.....please send any pedals to me .....thank you and requested with love
"Sorry, we should be talking about pedals."
Now, THAT'S a good slogan for a TPS t-shirt, on so many levels....
12:16 -- "These are all good tangents..."
Daniel Crowe That is a genius idea for a TPS shirt!
Daniel Crowe I would buy that and express ship to the states. Just saying...
good players , good gear , but some much sutpid jokes no one gets and gives a shit about
Best name drop ever, “Clapton told me....”
Winner!!!!
I noticed they missed honking Bonamassa though.... I'm actually more amazed that Mick never met Clapton??
The loudest sound in the world is the "That Pedal Show" intro when you forgot that you left your speakers on high the night before.

You guy need to get Johan Segeborn on the show, he knows old Marshall's inside and out
Fuzz Face Johan rules! 🤘
He's my fave and he a cool down to earth dude too..
Let's go!
He's quietly one of the most valuable guitar people on TH-cam.
He's amazing. Succinct demos, great playing, and yeah, he's Mr. Marshall.
The trio of pedals were the Bluesbreaker, Shredmaster and Drivemaster. The Guvnor had come out a couple years earlier.
Glad to see that Mick’s Strat journey was just all the friends he made along the way
a morning glory is a firework over here in Yankee land. and man do we love to blow Sh...tuff up over here
yep
Well in Texas we have that euphemism so I’ve always thought that JHS was intentional with the entendre.
Guy Fawkes was a hero.
Michael Turano Remember, remember the 5th of November!

There's something strangely comforting about seeing Mick playing Blue again. What a wonderful guitar. Sounds glorious (as always).
Thank you! It’s a trip to have it back. :0)
With new pickups? We’re not listening to the Antiquety Texas pickups anymore are we...
Makes me truly happy whenever Mick's playing 'Blue'.
Yea that damn guitar is something else.
Nothing has knocked the Zvex BOR off my board for 10 years. Love its simplicity and straight-ahead great tone.

I've seen every TPS ever and I've never perceived either of you as "grumpy." Dude must be projecting.
Even the noise gate episode? 😊
I know right? They weren't even grumpy that time they encountered a Metal Zone. Even if they did need to call in Rabea to try doing it justice.

A Public Service Announcement: Mick is not grumpy, he is British.
Excellent! Hahahahaha!!!
Great point. It took a lot of watching TPS and also Guitar Paradiso and Guitarist vids w/ Mick for me (American) to realize "Come on then" doesn't me "STFU;" it's much more "let's hear it" than "stop talking and play."
STARES IN BRITISH
@@ThatPedalShow
He's english, there's no such thing as british, britain is an island made up of three countries.
"Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way."
I've just ordered a Crazy Tubes Falcon. That just might usurp the Uber Bee....
MI is a Tweed thing? I thought it was a hot-rodded Tubescreamer. I have an early prototype that Mike hastily housed and labeled. It's magic!
I agree they should do Tweeds. My money is on the Wampler '57.
Mick & Dan, great subject,
I never met a blues breaker style pedal that I didn’t like.
Love that keeley 1962x
The Pantheon does indeed have its Presence control default at all the way off! It gets sizzly very fast but just a touch of it can add a little nice, well, presence to a dark guitar. It didn't get a totally fair shot because of that I think, so it's probably worth exploring again. I've been digging mine!
After waiting more than two years I just got my KoT and sold my Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal to pay for it! Oh the irony.
Joe Perkins the DriveMaster has a couple of small changes to the Guv’nor but the circuit is largely the same.
I have the ZVex Vexter BOR and I absolutely LOVE it. It will be a pedal that I keep forever.
can it be used in a fender style amp
At 14:46 there was what looked like a miscommunication in hand gestures. The “stop - don’t change anything” combined with the “I’m excited! We’re excited! Let’s high five” that turned into a very awkward double high five was absolutely incredible. Haha I love you guys!
My bluesbreaker was given to me by my father in law, he had never used it. Having all 3 really satisfies my ocd. Bluesbreaker always on. Great show.
thats not ocd; more like materialism.
Hey, "grumpy" or not we love you. Whatever. You're human beings. TPS is not that kind of "fake faces shows". Don't change anything 🖖🌼
yes, i've stopped watching some cool guitar shows just because they act like they're teenagers
Grumpy? People suck. They’re also awesome, especially you two, so carry on and apologize for nothing. This hour of horn-honking, rambling tonal conjecture continues to teach me something new week after week, even after more than 25 years playing the guitar. Cheers!
Mick's playing at 14:30 is the most inspired i've heard him sound on the show. so tastefully played.
Testify! The Snouse Blue Line is killer. I pair it with an Analogman modded SD-1.
Squiershire
I came to the comments to tell them about the Blueline as well. Works brilliant as a Strat ‘always on’ preamp. Ought to be widely known and commercially available. So many layers of customization - tone controls at each stage, diode options (LED, Ger, Si), boost options, bright/smooth switch, and a boost footswitch with its own dedicated volume knob.
That Keeley 1962x has to be the sexiest looking overdrive ever! sounds really good too.
BTW. I used to be in a band that played ancient Roman music..yes..we were a Tribune band.
Thanks a lot sir! I'd like to change the base coat from white to something else. What do you think?
GOOD!
@@RobertKeeleyTV - Jeez - just saw it was you above me - we're not worthy!
I love how Dan and Mick will both just closer there eyes and sway as if to say "Listening to a Bluesbreaker is my happy place."
My 35 year beano pedal quest ended with the Dawner Prince Red Rox! Unbelievable pedal.
Agreed. The Pantheon has a lot of range, and spinning the knobs isn’t going to sound good. Brian Wampler’s demo of it is recommended viewing.
I feel this incredibly strong need every friday to comment about how important and influential TPS has been in my musical and personal life. I still can’t quite find the words, but the day will come. All the love ❤️
That jam Mick plays on blue through the box of rock at the end is so freaking sick and tasty.
15 minutes in to watching and have to comment: the blue strat clean through those two amps (+ a touch of delay?) sounding bloody superb
Hear hear!
I have the Keely 1962x....if I put the cd on and play along, can’t tell where I stop and start, nails it perfectly...and I mean Perfectly!!!
If MTV was still cool, you guys would have the prime time spot!
Couldn't be more agree!
dont change the energy of the show, its chill to watch, if a wanted a hyper energetic super happy fake persona there are many other channels to find that, watching you two is watching a conversation/nerdout as it would happen in real life
The drivemaster guys! As far as i know, it's the same circuit as the guv'nor.....i'm a proud owner of a drivemaster :) sounds wonderful...great show as always!
I own it, too
In addition to the comment below I'd like to say that because of the inspiration given me via you two, I have decided to stop flipping pedals that I like in order to get new ones that I don't know if I like. Cheers guys, another great show.
the cal.45 from J.Rockett Audio is a great contender for a JTM45 in a box
just rewatching this as I 'work' from home.
The Govnor was first. The 3 pedals in the next series were Bluesbreaker, Shred Master, and Drive Master..thanks guys
Sounding amazing! My 1971 LP is being re fretted as we speak. Your new frets are making me drool
One of the Marshall pedals was the "Drive Master". I had one around 96 / 97. Unfortunately sold it on ebay about 15 years ago :-(
mine is still borrowed to a friend somewhere...
I bought a Shredmaster for 20 quid in 94. It went missing in a studio move around 10 years later. Still not happy about that!
So cool that something like this exists for us guitarist
I bought an original Shredmaster from Cranes in Cardiff in the 90’s. Gigged the hell out of it, loved that pedal.... Found it in a box in my garage last year full of water. 😬
pain.
Dickhead.
Thanks for all you do 🙌
Did you miss Dan's tour of historic music spots in London with PGS Andy?
@@humbucker1414 oh yeah, I did see that one. Technically on reverb though 😉 I was just kidding and giving them a hard time because I know how much work goes into these episodes and they've been spoiling us with three a week.
I`ve been using cort mangan strings for 2 years now, from time to time I buy different strings just for the fun and always regret it. I`m sure you guys are going to love it. Try the pure nickel ones, I generally use pure nickel when I want a more vintage sound and the standard ones for, well, when I want the guitars to sounds more standard.
Yep. Mick's blue strat sounds great whatever you put it through.
Thank you
Doesn’t that Strat have the Ancho Poblano pickups in it? Or am I mistaken?
Super informative. One of your best. Thanks, guys.
Marshall Blues Breaker 22:45
JHS Morning Glory 25:16
Keely 1962x 28:31
ZVex Box of Rock 33:43
Snouse Black Box 40:10
Analogman King of Tone 44:52
Wampler Pantheon 55:18
All that info is in the description Sergio, thanks.
@@ThatPedalShow Oops! Sorry i missed it. See? Even better than I thought!
After buying a Morning Glory and a Pantheon, I’ve now just bought a Snouse as a result of this darned video!
Edit one year later: Wow - the Snouse is such a fabulous pedal. Love the Pantheon and the Morning Glory too. But the Snouse is just outstanding.
The snouse is awesome! Snouse into a Timmy both being pushed by a Klone = heaven
@Quiksilver sorry for the delay. I’ve tried the Mooer a couple of times and absolutely hated it. Happy if it works for you though.
Lot of eq options on that pedal..sounded good
Dudes we all love what you do. I wouldn't worry about any criticism of the show too much. It is definitely in a minority and I bet a great deal of it is left in a spirit of love. Just want to say you don't need to dwell on it, you have something brilliant here. Much love
Great episode! I can't wait the episode about old amps!
Have to agree with Dan - Mick was on fire! Simply splendid! Humbuckers and Marshall tone is a marriage made in heaven.
Probably the best TPS episode just for that Clapton moment. New segment idea: Simon says ;)
OMG that riff after Mick pulls out his strat! That was so beautiful, I have to know what that’s from
1:02:00 Manic Depression by Jimi Hendrix
Friday, beer and pedal show. Dont ever change!! Never ever!! I love you just the way you are!!!!!(that may or may not be the beer talking)
as for the Morning Glory emblem. JHS is from Kansas City. I would direct you to the Kansas City 'City of Fountains' logo & flag. Although I'm sure Josh is happy to just let the speculation hang there...
It's a Roman candle shooting out fireworks.
Would be funny if it had actually happened.
Hence the name.
Great show as always gentlemen. 1962x, what a pedal. Its high up on my list.
That JTM45 is the amp. Your expressions proved it.
Oh please borrow that amp more, holy hell, my absolute favorite of time. And now we need to hear pedals into it!!!
The Snouse BB2 did not sound good, because the presense knob was cranked full on and the boost was too low. Analogman ships the presense knob in the completely off position to prevent this user error.
So glad you did this video. Blues breaker is by far my favourite drive circuit. Never knew Box of Rock was from this lineage!
Another great show guys, Box of Rock all day long for my ears but HOLY BALLS THAT ENDING. And Dan your absolutely right Mick was on it today.
That JTM45... No words. Just look at your faces of pure happiness ...
The blue Strat sounds heavenly!!!!!!!! I need to back and watch everything you did to it. Man it sounds amazing!
