I change lanes just because some lanes are bumpy AF here in Michigan, traffic isn't always the reason people move left.
I NEVER assume people see me coming when I'm doing fastboi shit, just plan for lane changes and accept full responsibility for being the one that needs to do the dodging. Thanks for keeping it real Brah!

He did have someone in the middle lane, a 3-5 car lengths ahead, he was getting over to pass. Not everyone runs their vehicle completely up someone's ass before switching lanes to pass.

I learned the mindset and share the mindset that if YOU are going faster than the speed limit, no one cut you off. Ever. YOU are always at fault. This applies to merging, oncoming traffic turning, everything.
(I speed all the time. I accept and mitigate this risk when possible)
You very fairly pointed out that over half of riders ride with the wrong mindset/understanding.
Edit: also, I commented a while back when the new editor took over editing. At first it was over edited and terrible. It’s been great recently. Good job not over complicating the simple format we seemingly all like.

This new generation of bikers is atrocious. It’s a lot of kids who don’t understand that 73 year old granny can’t comprehend that a bike is going 150 on the highway. It’s annoying but all the experienced people can do is make videos on it like this and try to teach these kids the right way to think while being on a bike.

@@RyguyIQeveryone should know. Id be towards the left side of that lane in the scenario which he was. Im always concerned about being in blind spots and trying to have outs on both sides of me. Learned that on my own. Early. Common sense isnt so common these days
@@pitchforkpeasant6219being in the far left of the left lane is a blind spot though because they can’t see you in their mirror unlike if you were in the left lane but by the center line. There is a video of a guy explaining this and I can post the link if ya like but it’s really common sense, if you look into their mirrors and you can’t see their face, then you are riding in their blind spot.

Because it's still wrong, for 2 reason. Number 1, the switch to the fast lane is unjustified as there are no vehicles in front. Number 2, switching lanes without blinkers is prohibited with no exceptions. Reckless driving.
@@XenoghostTV as a biker that rides like an asshole everywhere I go this is funny to me. Dude makes a living of reckless driving and we're supposed to be mad at the truck for not using his blinker. Expecting everyone else to drive perfectly and follow every traffic law is just not reasonably. Expecting so while doing double the speed limit is your choice but your putting your safely in the trust that everyone else is paying full attention to the road and it's a competent driver. I haven't known those things to always be true. My recommendation is to always expect people to mess up and you will not be caught off guard. I know you just replied to provoke an argument on the Internet but if you also ride a bike I would encourage you to ask yourself who you want to be in control of your safely. Don't put yourself in positions where other people can hurt you.

Bruh I can definitely agree 100% when I see the drama queens on motostars or channels like that I call them out everytime. I was always told by my dad to be invisible when riding! And it's honestly the best advise you could give !

Loved everything you talked about you absolutely nailed it. some rider believe that everyone else needs to stop for them no matter what. and because of some of those careless riders some people assume everybody who rides is exactly the same.
I once saw a video of someone going down a highway at 150mph+, a truck was entering the highway from the off ramp, while the biker was on the far right lane, and he put text on the video saying the truck was purposefully cutting them off, the stupidity of some people is insane, I wish i could remember the channel and the video right now

Left lane should be for PASSING ONLY! It should be a $200 fine for camping the left lane needlessly. If you're passing someone slower, no problem. Camping the left lane though? It should financially hurt! It's the BIGGEST pet peeve of mine, especially where I live. There is ALWAYS some idiot doing 5 under the speed limit in the left lane!
It's horrible in Texas. Sometimes the normal traffic pattern will literally be slow traffic stacked in the left land and everyone passing in the right lane.

Advanced driving and international motorcycle courses usually teach a specific set of rules:
1. Aim high when driving/riding.
2. Keep your eyes moving.
3. Get the big picture.
4. Leave yourself in OUT.
5. Make sure they can see you.
Riders especially should pay attention to the last one because when I'm driving and I can hear a bike appriaching, I usually hesitate to move in case I run into the rider by accident. Only to move once I have clear vision of him/her.
I'm learning to ride and it's way more intense than one would think (although I wish I picked up riding from my Dad before he passed 10 years ago).
Gixxer Brah has not said anything wrong in this video, in fact it makes total sense - and the last thing you end up as is like a motorcycle accident I witnessed where a Cop smacked into the side of a Gas tanker (Truck), where he was riding so recklessly that you saw imprints of his boot trying to stop himself from getting plastered into the Truck's side.
So in short you shouldn't be riding 150 mph swerving in and out of traffic? Who would have thought?

Dude you're MASSIVELY deviating from standard traffic patterns. Ofc people are going to make mistakes and predict things incorrectly. At that speed EVERYTHING is your fault and your responsibility. It doesn't matter what the cars do.

I was riding passenger with my grandmother driving on a three lane highway, 60MPH she went for a lane change to exit the HWY and a see bro on a sport bike flying up on us. I spoke up right before he flew by the right side of the car. She was shaken up and never saw him coming. For her age she's a decent driver but Gixxer Bruh is right on this topic. The average driver won't see you coming up on them fast. Cheers guys

I love situations like This. As a german viewer i think there should be a rule (just as we have it here) that you only Drive in the right lanes. Only get out of it to overtake. So the left lane is really a fast lane. We sometimes have 3 lanes here and there are people going Slow there (150kph = around 90mph) and we Complain about it, Because the right lane is free. Which really is a felony here, since You’re obligated to Drive as far right as you can.
But it could also just be stupid drivers you guys have there in america🤣
Had to subscribe. I have a 1000cc and supermoto as well and i agree with the last few stuff you've posted. Ive had bikers fly by when i was potentially gonna switch lanes when i didnt notice them, and I'm constantly checking my mirriors.

Good advice. When you’re going fast nobody sees you, and even if they do, they will grossly underestimate your speed. You gotta watch out, out there, or you’ll end up as a sticky blob on the pavement.
