You going 170 while just wearing a hoodie is weirdly comforting as I just cruise with full gear on lol. Makes me feel like I can trust the bike more.
170 with or without gear is going to be pretty bad
It's not the bike to worry about.More like the operator of bike and how he or she pays attention to own skill set and surroundings.

@@slick4415 He's said before that at that speed having gear isnt going to make the difference between saved and not saved. If he crashes at 170 whether its a slide or an impact a full set of leathers may help for the first second or two, but not for the full length of the slide and he'll end up roasted regardless; and the slide would honestly be the least of his worries. Nothing it gonna help an impact at 170 short of a force field.

The shift sensor needs to be reversed for gp shift. It has a push pull input so it rev matches when pushed and blips when pulled

@Gixxer brah which quick shifter did you go with? the healtech? I have been running the ShiftPower gen2 QS/LC/PLL on my 07 gsxr1k and it has been great. Would like to get my hands on a Translogic for the blip down as well but those are a little more pricey.

put the healtech qs on 40ms-35ms cut time (in higher rpms) you will thank me later. Also always check it likes to go back to stock settings. I can tell by the sound of the bike it needs to be quicker (could also be a reason why its jerky)

What all did you do to the bike. I got 04 1000rr. Could use some tweaks I know it needs a good tune but who is question. Thought about an air shifter but never used one. And like your bike mine don’t look its age either. It’s taken care of. Keep safe man. Got some maintenance to do to get ready for this Swanson next month.
