A common mistake I see even Gold assassin players do is going after insignificant targets in the later stages of the game. A previously 8/2/X assassin continues to go after a support or a struggling ADC ignoring more important targets and thus ends up 15/12/X by the end of the game, losses it and procceeds to blame his teammates.
Late game there is no insignificant targets, if you go to the late game almost everybody have full build already , being fed means something only in the early game and maybe mid game

but that's what assassins are good at, kidnapping the backline, fighting the engage is always a gamble for assassins on top of that the enemy backline is still alive and can pop up from behind.
As an assassin player if you jump in on the fed Darius and don’t kill him in your full combo you just die. Your better off taking the struggling adc and mid out and then cleaning up the bruiser after your team took his health bar down
Thats because they never push or group. Someone is always split pushing, someone else is in jungle, 1 person pushing mid. It gives enough time for enemy team to focus the fed assassin and for their teammate to revive. Atleast this is how i have won games when the enemy mid was 20/1 and we were losing.
1- Play safe and aware between minute 3 to 4 as an early gank may happen
2- Hold your escape/disengage abilities to be ready to run from enemy jungler
3- Run to the opposite direction from where the enemy jungler comes from
4- Once minions hit the tower the next wave will push to the opposite tower
5- Roam if you can 1v1 the enemy don't rely on your teammates
6- Wait to gank until your teammates are commited too (near the enemy and ready)
7- If your teammates are hidden in the tower low in health or level disvantage don't go
8- Prioritize destroying mid tower, push the wave always before go to dragon/baron
9- Don't stay in a lane when the number of enemies you don't see in the map is higher than you allies in the lane (3 of yours but 5 enemies are invisible), try to make your team leave that lane asap
10- Pressure a lane only if other laner or dragon/baron is being pressured too, if there's no one pressuring other objective, play safe and be ready to escape as you will be the target for sure
11- Spend your gold, the more you spend it the more damage you'll deal
12- Bait Baron at minute 25 if you ahead in game, hit baron 5 to10 seconds with a tank then leave and win the fight , if enemy team doesn't contest you have free baron

@@zarosderer4447basically when you’re on advantage and go take baron, if you don’t stop hitting baron and enemy team shows up, you’re in disadvantage because you already lost health while fighting baron so you might end up dying and losing it. Instead fight him for few seconds just to engage the fight, back off, fight the enemy team and than finish the baron.

Ganking just because enemies are overextended is something I used to do a lot for years. Halfway through last split I noticed and have been working on it since. I finished Plat 4 last split and I'm currently Diamond 4. It's insane how much time you waste by going for bad ganks, and how much you get rewarded for not doing it.
Edit: and this isn't something that stops happening in diamond btw. I still get mid laners that demand ganks because their laner is pushed up, failing to see they are full hp with summs and we don't know where the enemy jg and support are
The problem I have is when my jungler (part of my premade) is when I know I have enough damage to solo kill the enemy but I can't get an opening to actually kill them. I try voicing that to my jungler and still never see a gank.
@@FirePhoenix103 i mean, it's s on you as the laner to force the opponent into being a free gank, then it's the jungler's job to punish that. You are the one in control of the wave. If you have enough damage for the solo kill, then you need good wave control to force your opponent into overextending. But if they are safe and almost full hp, there's nothing to do. I ain't risking my time as a jungler for just a 50% chance at a kill
@Pyrrha_Nikos that's what I mean, not everyone overextends regardless of the lane state. And because I'm the laner, I communicate with my jungler to let them know opportune times to gank so they can path towards me. So I'm doing all of the work, letting them know when to gank beforehand, and yet they act like I didn't say anything
It’s generally pretty champ specific as well. Like, the reason you see Akali or Ekko constantly overextending is because their loads of mobility allows them to get away and waste the junglers time. You really have to pay attention to other factors like whether they are committing to a fight with your laner or whether they have no summs up to determine if the gank will be worthwhile.
@@FirePhoenix103 yeah, and if they don't overextended because of a bad wave state, your jungler can't do anything. If you can't do anything about your laner, how are we expecting someone else to do it? Lmao
Mistake 7 - constant problem. This is when your team engages, knowing full well you're nowhere nearby, they wipe and then curse you for not being there, when they KNEW you weren't and they chose to attack anyways.
I am now in plat 2 and this happens surprisingly often.
honestly just pinging danger or fall back and then pinging your position (and missing on you if you're uncontested) ONCE when your team's body language doesn't convince you they're aware of the macro, has saved me so much headache
sometimes they don't listen and things go badly; in that case you review your own macro decisions and if they were solid then you just have to shrug and consider adapting to your team's macro habits
but this will weight the scales in your favor by pulling a lot of people out of autopilot

Pressure was the most important thing that took me from silver to high gold. I'm plat 3 now because I understand pressure pretty well :)
Very interesting insight for me. I think one main issue is no1 is on the same wavelength and it’s gets toxic as they don’t know the process you are trying to execute. For instance if you’re split pushing top lane towers aggressively and there’s a 4v5 fight on the bot lane let’s say, then usually there’s a whole fight that ends up with our team being wiped and then the dead mates end up turning really toxic and pinging ? Over and over then saying how bad you are when you’re 2 towers deep. I also hate when if I’m pushing alone with hullbreaker and the supp turns up to help and makes me weaker rather than utilising the fact I’ve got 4 on me top lane and they should be pushing another lane as a 4 and they’re just split up doing random jungle farming or something. These things can likely help gameplay but a lot of people don’t understand and throw games
sometimes you just have to ignore your teams nonsense
one time i baited 4 enemys to chase me for 4 minutes at the same time i took t2 tower and half of enemy jungle, wasted 3 ults 2 flashes and ignite then i died.
My team could do baron do dragon or push mid and bot or colapse on enemys and wipe them. But they chose to farm jungle and freeze bot XDD we lost that game obliviusly

Mistake 7 & 8
This is why I prefer being a split pusher, because I can help influence number advantages for my teammates. If I'm a Trundle devouring towers, they're going to send at least 2 members to stop me because I am a Trundle. That forces a potential 4v3 for my team. Meanwhile, I know my limits and to work with my vision, so I'll always know when to back off so that I don't get trapped. And if I do get trapped, that's still me buying time for my team to do anything, I'll just go to whichever direction keeps me alive the longest to waste as much of their time as possible.
One of my biggest breakthroughs was learning to kite toward their base, and even through tower sometimes, when I'm going to die for sure, if it takes more of their time, gets them in a worse position, and especially lets me cs another wave before I die.

I like the pressure and number advantage thing, but I can’t tell you how many times I got 4 people to come bot instead of defending mid, and my 4 teammates decide to immediately go to our red instead of continuing to push

Biggest thing: Keep your honor level. Having a 0 honor level also puts you into a toxic player base which is much much unbalanced and harder to play. Riot intentionally drops MMR for toxic players to improve gameplay for quiet players. I learned this because I am toxic and despite being bronze I knew every single tip mentioned in this video. 2 things keep me from climbing: not enough games, being toxic and not thinking actively during the game despite knowing every tip.
my favorite part about low elo is that even if i follow all these things the mid laner is going to get the enemy yone 20/2
Or you're gonna get an annie that declares at the beginning of the game that she's "peacefully protesting". By that she means staying under tower doing nothing for 15 minutes and litteraly deal 0 damage the entire game, of course riot does not give a shit so it's still -24 lp.

Mistake 5 was a big one for me when I jungled actually. I just expected people to play better and then I'd get tilted so bad when they didn't respond to my gank.
how would i apply tip number 2 as an anivia main? should i only use my e for poke pre 6? or can i use my q if i'm in a defendabe spot?
When you're not overextended you can use all your spells. When pushed up, consider holding Q and W if you're facing a strong ganking jungler/mid lane combo. If you feel your W is enough to help you escape you can fish for Qs.

Honestly the number one mistake I see from everyone in low elo is thinking "I don't need my team, I don't care about my team" Guys it's a team game. You gotta pay attention to your team mates and not just wonder around aimlessly
whats your advice for when your teammates just AFK after going 0/6 in lane lol. or when they start following you around the map taking all of your CS because they're trolling? what about when the duo bot collectively goes 2/17? what do you do when the enemy jungler steals your jungle camps and your team refuses to help you so you go into the enemy jungle and the enemy laners/jungler kill you?
what do you do when your top laner picks morgana into yorick and goes 1/7 in lane and yorick is taking inhib tower at 15 mins?
these are only a few examples of almost all of the games ive played just this season, it is extremely rare for me to play a game where I dont have a teammate that AFKs, trolls, or at least one lane that doesn't hard int. everyone says "well it happens to the enemy team too", but its starting to feel like it doesn't. of all the games ive played this season, I havent seen a single person AFK on the enemy team's side.
it makes it extremely hard to want to keep trying, because even though I'm doing okay in my lane, and I'm hanging on and playing safe, it doesn't seem like enough to carry one, two or more people that either AFK, refuse to play, are running it down or just straight up trolling.
A lot of these can be easily fixed by jus thinking ‘how can I be more annoying to the enemy’. I tried to play my ranked games without the intention of winning but just by being a nuisance to the enemy because I think it’s funny. I remember playing jgl champs as support (warwick, udyr etc etc) and somehow ended up climbing.
By trying to just be annoying (thinking it’s funny), I did a lot of these. For example,
Mistake 3, I would have chosen to flash towards raptors too cuz I thought ‘if I’m gonna die, I might as well waste this guy’s time’.
Mistake 1, I’m playing a jgl sup, won’t it be funny if I stole his camps, and by stealing his camps, I somehow just started knowing when and where the jgl will show up.
Mistake 7&8, I learnt of numbers concept because I wanted to farm despite being a sup just cuz I wanted items, so I started split pushing and take into account where enemies are so I know if and when I will be bothered while farming cs.
By just playing this game wanting to be a troll without compensating my team, I played a lot better.
i agree with this too, i started thinking like this a lot too, one of the main things for me was when people would be team fighting and trying to take objectives i would splitpush disgustingly to try to make them recall to stop me from ending meanwhile my team gets the objective cause of numbers advantage, i get towers inhibs or end of they don’t back or i just back in time and they waste time going too whilst i put pressure on the map. Ez win

Since i began league i ran into random places to escape enemies, i didnt know some people would run down their lane despite another escape route being nearby
I fully argee on mistake 5 section of the video, but you have to understand in low elo your team will flame you if you dont gank them even if you cant beat the emeny toplaner. or they ping you you have to go in first to aboser all the dmg.

Last tip seems powerful but undoable in solo que
if i am the support you can live in enemy jungle. there will be probably wards everywhere. if support xyz is your support you probably be blind flashing inside the enemy jungle. having also enemy botlane already marching towards you... how do i know that? maybe because i have a 45-55 vision score by now and the enemy supp is on 19 ... (not on lvl 4 of course i mean just in general ..)
In my rank, JG gank top at 4:15 after scuttle then go mid to get 2 kills
4:24 min.: He can use 2 Spells. His Star thing that slows you and trys to get you in the middle and his ult. But i dont play many aurelion so could be wronge.
4:40 min.: Hä? This is a thing over that i not even has to think. Its obvuisly that you take the route that brings you so far its posible is away form enemy jgl.
2:38 Note: Don't gank a xin mid. His ult counters ganks and is reduced cd with his q empowered autos. Or he can turn on you and ult to minimize his laner's damage. About as useless as ganking a kassadin or morgana
Like, i dont know if you know, but League is a 5 player game and in low elo you won´t have your team to go to baron or not to fight every drake. It is even hard to go barron if your own team is alive and all others dead, so these "mistake" are for sure "mistakes" but most of them dont seem as you could fix them alone in low elo. And EUW > NA

Great refresher for me - former Diamond Player who quit the Game for 5 years
Very interesting and ill try bringing this into my games but this does not account for the monkeys we are playing with. Starting Baron to bait and turn on enemy team assumes that all the team will turn. Unfortunately this will never happens in very low elo. On or two monkeys will continu to hit Baron until they die and flame you for not doing the same ^^.
One trick i used while i was smurfq with my loq elo friend while boosting him is that you need to use your teammates as a sacrificial lambs,ur 0/10 jinx baited flash ult from fed enemy sydra ? GREAT use it,she will surely get caught in bad spot and you can punish it,low elo players tend to get greedy for kills,not just that but they will waste everything to get that +1 on that scoreline even thoe it does not benefit them at all,make sure you keep track on whats happening on the map and how you can just punish them easy,good luck climbing 💪🫶

I am already trying to use most of these ideas since I've played long enough to have internalized them, but I will tell you the skill floor has risen enough to where Iron IV games simply aren't freelo if you x, y, and z.

Literally every single tip: actually have your team do any tactic at all. Instead they run around like chickens with no heads and int the entire game away and you have zero chance no matter what you do.

What helps your team taking bad fights is to ward common rotates. It's actually that easy.
I’ve seen way too many jg do the 5th mistake. Either I’m weak early and can’t do anything in the gank or I’m trying to just catch a huge wave that hit my turret and they just gank. When they die 1v1 to the strong early opponent, they spam ping me

Mistake 7 was eye opening to me as someone who has shit macro because I’m good mechanically good so I just don’t get punished for making bad macro plays until it matters most in late game
I would challenge every point in this video with the biggest problem in low elo, your team dies before you can pressure anything. If you don’t have pressure you can’t do anything on the map. Thus losing multiple games in a row due to inters and grief. No matter how good YOU are, you aren’t an entire team. Thus a coin flip every game in low elo. The only way you can really climb out of hard stuck is if they re work the LP loss for if you do well, your loss gets mitigated. You can lose the same amount of LP as a 1/14 top
Anyone know if emerald 2 count as low elo?
The biggest thing is actually "ADC watches TH-cam videos saying farm is king to be play" so they use first flash on 10 mins or don't poke/give presence in any root. So the game ends with sup with 1 or 2 items and adc with only KS(mf or ez players) or 2 authentic kills. And this same ADC blocked a non 1v4
6:26 is quite wrong, it will create a rebound or your minions will end up nearer the enemy than yours coz it will get stuck there because your minions are there attacking the enemy's tower
If I'm wrong please tell me on what part because both minions arrive at the same time. When the zed kill all your minions even before the new wave comes, it will eventually ends up in the middle
If later, your minions will stack on the enemy's side

Mistake 7: you can count it but the others won't and will not listen to you. So you back, they die and will flame you
The funny thing as a jungle is that my team do not know how to not push , then they get ganked 100 time and die and write jgl diff 😅 3:05
Last mistake throw most of my games because when we have a big lead they just dive the enemy in tower hoping to kill them and get more kills and just get wiped out completely and immediately losing the game even tho i pinged them a thousand times to the baron

My question is how to use your inting teammates. Had time after time where we're doing well bot and then notice, enemy jg is fed, enemy top is getting fed, and the enemy midlane is pulling off 1v3's.

Do you have a video explaining what you can to do win a game when you're team is not grouping, running in and dying, and not listening to pings? Like yeah, the smart play for a 3v4 is to back off, and I do, but my other 2 team mates will still stay and engage and die and give free objectives to the enemy. What do you even do?
I'm doing nearly all of these tips and still play low elo. I dont really mind but i wish my teammates would cnsider pushing the wave isnt the only way to play haha. pushing nonstop and getting ganked by the enemy jungler and then blaming me for not ganking. Its out of my mind that some people cant see this themselves

I am emerald. 2 main problems:
1. People actually think they are good at the game
2. They are too many people that buy diamond accounts and start losing ranks one after the other.

I only can win in this case.
If i not deliver and carry its not so worsted that i play then defensiv because im the weak side of the map. My job isnt to carry the game. And if i deliver then im much more happy because i dont got resouces form jgl but still do my job good.
So in the opsite case: if i be stronge side: god i hate it to be the jgls favorite sparkel. I dont wants this help. I wants helps outhers. Not they help me.
Its build up me to much presur at my shoulders to play stronge side. I wants to be weak side.
I know i know, i be allone with this but hey thats the wonderfully part of it. Everyonce wants to be stronge side. So the weak side is mostly free to have for me. Play defensiv and just turtle under tower to overlife the strorm of ganks to dont feed them is what i love to do in lol :3
4:04 min.: Im Sera OtP. I ceap my E and W mostly if i lane. Even my ult if its not a save kill.
Its a to good spell even with cristall staff.
Why i otp sera? Because her kit makes me the most fun and her personality lets me smile. She enjois life and just be positiv and this is a thing that i sartch in a girlfriend.
So yeah sera is kind of a waifu for me.
Not saying I should be diamond or anything, but I don't understand how I can climb as supp when most of the games half of the team is clueless

As a Jungler it is infuriating the amount of laners who do not grasp the "Weak side/Strong side" concept. The amount of times I get "Well you didn't even try" My brother in christ you are playing top and I just ganked Bot 3 seconds ago I was not going to make it up to you in time to do anything.
