what i find most annoying is the enemy midlane roaming without pushing, but your team is so dumb that he gets kills and the game is doomed and it doesn't matter if he loses cs anyways
thats what we call high risk high reward roams. the best way to punish this is by freezing the wave and denying minions or by pushing into tower. with good communication his roam fails and you get a plate or two. the third option is to match the roam, you recognize team isnt listening and you follow up the roam. in those situations i like to use my team as bait for them and get the counter gank rather then matching straight up
Even worse for junglers who barely get value from invading or holding a wave, and still struggle to crossmap an Objective since always behind/at the mercy of sololanes.
@@thecoffeecuratoryeah I agree just play on their tempo do what you can, get a good recall and wavestate mid- try to get a nice set up for a gank/shutdown. Track spells and summoner timers from the roam, maybe do something on grubs/ drake coming up or have your jungle and support capitalize on the mid lane freeze.
that's why I always play carry mid lane champs, not some play-making champs, because when my team are doomed by a roam, I could always stay mid comfortably farming and getting to the point the enemy cant stand my damage and lose
if you can, try to coordinate dives on his ruturn to midlane. That's one of the best ways you can just completely remove him out of the game. If he drops his wave to roam, get kills, has to recall then comes back mid and dies he loses 3 to 4 waves so he is out of the game. It's hard to consistently pull off because you need your jungler to be on the play, buf if you can its very op.
Spacing techniques works great against certain toplaners too. Pretty much only way to win against Darius and, and especially Aatrox on some champs is to bait their spells. Darius players often try to land Q if they're on less than full HP, and Aatrox players can be fooled into thinking you are running away, thus dashing forward to catch you, and then you simply predict it and instead move up into their faces, meaning only the 3rd Q can hit you unless you run away right after the 2nd. Both these champions are severely limited in trades if they can't land their Q, especially Darius. Also works against Mordekaisers but his Q is on low pretty low cooldown, and you're often better off making him hit you AND a minion because then it deals far less damage than if it hits only you.
Odd sitting here as a master player and learning the right way to do stuff. Most of the stuff I already do without thinking about it, but it's very nice to know the rules and reasons behind everything. It will give me a lot more confident decision making in game and a lot more consistency.

I've played this game for like 7 years and I still don't know how to play against her and actually win lane, so you're not alone. She used to be much stronger back in the day from what I remember.
it's easy to say harder to do, but bait her Q + W, dodge W (being at her maximum range you can sometimes walk out) and most importantly dodge her E. When she has nothing left try to run into her because she's useless for 10 seconds. As long as you avoid getting hit by her E you should be fine, and you can look to outpush her if you champ allows it.
As Tryndamere mid I rely mostly on auto attacks and my spin is almost exclusively used offensively. Very reliable against a lot of mid lane picks, especially in low elo. Counters Malzahar too, very reliably.
90% of my mid losses are thanks to the most silliest jungle invades. It's like they choose to coinflip the whole match and offer a free kill to the enemy jungler or mid just because they *must* try to cheese. But I do agree this guide works for flex games.
then they ping you to come save them but it goes so horribly wrong that somehow the opponent mid laner goes from 0/2 to 3/2 because somehow both support is there too. Find what role you like the most, only play that role. Play as many characters in the role, find out who you like the most. That’s atleast one strategi. Or look at the meta and just stick to one of the best characters… this will make it fun to play until you get better at them and or they get nerfed. Or think of your other mains in other games, try to find a character in league that has something like your main in another game. Like if you love playing a tanky character in other games try to go for that in league too, I think these are probably the best strategi. But a tip from me personally i love playing new characters and try to be as good as possible at them. Of course this doesn’t work for every new character but try them every time to see if it something that you like, i tried Briar when she came out and shes now my main.
Just pick a high impact role (jungle, mid, support?!?!) and pick the coolest looking champion. Personally, I picked mid because jungle was too scary, and support was whatever to me. Then, I picked Katarina because she does a lotta damage and movement (not 200 years damage and movement but it's still nice)
As a top laner, I've had several different mains throughout. I've gone from Garen, to Mord, to Mundo, and now Tahm Kench. My advice is to find a champ that has some form of cc, preferably a slow or stun. This will give you the chance to escape when you're trying to learn the champ, and a chance to go in if they over extend and you're confident in your champ. I also choose champs that aren't regularly banned. That'll make the enemy laner underestimate you to a degree and give them a false sense if confidence against you. Then you can make them pay for it when you out farm/ out play them in Lane.
