So our house will be calling this dish chicken Presley bake. Thanks . Congratulations on the grandson Tipper and Matt. Peace love and blessings. Prayers for Granny.
Nothing like, the taste of fresh hot sausage. Followed by a hot cup of coffee. That wakes up your taste buds. Takes me back to my childhood. Thanks for the memories...
I noticed that this video was uploaded 55 minutes ago and it took me all of 5 seconds to click on it. I love chicken casserole and your recipe is great!
My mother made this for many years, fed 8 kids, parents and had some leftover for a meal in my dads lunchbox the next day…best meal ever..❤…sometimes my mom would substitute the broccoli with potatoes, fiesta corn or leave it out the veggies…any way she made it - it was delicious and I still make it when my kids and grandkids come over

Tipper that looks so good especially those green beans. I make a similar chicken casserole. I change mine up all the time. I was happy you were on when I got home. Watching you was a way to unwind after this long week. We just got home after laying my Father in Law to rest. He is at peace now. It was so heartbreaking watching in go down hill so fast. He was 82 and just 2 years ago he was cutting his own wood to heat with. He was such a sweet strong man of God
Thank you for teaching me too cook! I’m 35 with 1 kid and it’s staying that way. 😂 my parents never taught me to cook and any life skills I had to learn the hard way. As far as cooking it was always a love hate relationship. My poor kid taste tested bad meals when I was first learning. I’d be nowhere without TH-cam and all y’all wonderful people helping those like me ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Everything you cooked looks delicious , and your husband cleaning up the kitchen at the end just shows hes a good husband to help his wife out . God Bless .
I made this the other day and followed your recipe to the letter and it is SO GOOD!! Now my favorite casserole of all time! I added a little cranberry sauce on the side when serving.
Yum! My Mom fed me and my Brother lots of casseroles growing up. We used to do the "dime a dip" casserole get together to raise money for the church too. Thanks Tipper 😊.
I am going to make this today, looks delicious 😋 Im so happy for you with the news of your little baby grandson on the way, what a lucky, lucky little baby to be born into such a wonderful family, much love from England in the UK ❤
My chicken casserole was in layers w the shredded cooked chicken on bottom, the cooked green beans on middle layer, then a can of creamed soup, chicken, mushroom or chicken mixed with 8 oz sour cream and a soup can of milk, then poured over the veggies. The topping was buttered bread crumbs, like yours and some added cheese. I didn't use cheese. Cooked the same or until the casserole was bubbly. Everybody seemed to love it.
Looks great. I like to make brown rice, and stir leftover chicken into it, and then melt cheddar cheese over it. Sometimes I add chopped sweet onions into the mixture.
I just found your channel and I'm loving your content & commentary! I especially enjoy how you let the video roll as you clean up and your family dishes up & interacts. It's like a behind the scenes glimpse of a lovely family! Your chicken casserole is now on my family menu😊💞
I’m hosting our Bible study group tonight and making two pans of chicken casserole! I’m glad you posted this so I could get a refresh on the recipe. 😄 My mom always made this and we called it chicken broccoli casserole. She put panko and cheese on top to make the crust. Her recipe also adds some curry which gives it a nice warm flavor.
Tipper I've made the chicken casserole twice so far from the cookbook the second time I made it it with broccoli and asparagus and Monterey jack cheese and added crushed Ritz crackers and butter to the top loved it both ways.. I love my Cookbook!!❤ If ya'll haven't purchased the cookbook your missing out so many wonderful delicious recipes 😋..Tipper I love y'all give Granny a big hug and kiss please tell her I love her❤ God Bless Ya'll...Camille 😘❤ 🌟💫🌟💥🙏💥🙋♀️
We didn't really have casseroles growing up either. My Dad didn't care for them. But like you, we had plenty to choose from, usually on Sundays at church when they would have a singing, we'd all have a huge buffet. It was all so delicious.
My aunt do do made this and to this day its my favorite. But I'm really drooling over the green beans and the juice! I like it on baby spinach with some vinegar. But haven't had good beans in over 30 years. Love you guys
When I make a chicken casserole, or any type of vegetable casserole, I like to mix in some of those French fried onions with the dressing/bread crumbs. It really adds to the flavor! That’s a good looking meal! Every time you do a cooking video, it always makes me hungry.
I found your channel about a year ago when I was looking for a cornbread recipe, as I was craving some cornbread that reminded me of the 20+ years I lived in western NC. I have been a fan of, and a subscriber to your channel ever since! Thank you for all the amazing recipes and stories of your life in the mountains.
Haven't seen this in years! I'm going to make it, only I'll add a little minced onion, celery and water chestnuts. I enjoy seeing your cuisine; I'm rural Nebraska and I can't believe how we prepare the same foods so differently 💗

Didn't grow up eating casseroles, my bros hated them. But when I first got married made this baked dish Chicken Divan. Cooked chicken on broccoli stalks with a layer of grated cheese. Bake to melt cheese. Good for one or two. Your recipe would be lovely for a party. Hello from sunny Oregon.
Whoo hoo!! A new recipe...and comfort food too!!! Thank you Tipper for all.that you and your family do. Your videos and the videos by the girls are always a bright spot in my day.
Our favorite is just cooked chicken, sour cream, Mayo, cheese, salt and pepper mixed with ritz and butter on top. I’m making yours tonight for dinner for something new.
Chicken casserole of any kind is comfort food, maybe because it reminds me of the old time church pot luck dinners or my Grandma. Your cookbook sure has some delicious recipes, I've been wearing it out! Have a wonderful evening. God bless all of you! Prayers too!
I was so disappointed when I saw your cookbook was all sold out, but then I saw a button to push to notify you I’d like one. Less than 12 hour’s and you added them back I. Stock and I got one!!🥳🎉 I’m so happy for you to have this book out and happy I got one!!
I have been making this casserole for over 35 years. I use crushed cornflakes sautéd in the butter instead of stuffing mix. Sometimes I put some sliced water chestnuts for extra crunch or the Chinese chow mein noodles mixed into the entire mixture. It’s a yummy casserole and so easy. Thank you for the video.
😀 Thank you! It's not you, its the new camera. It's so good it's picking up the hum of the fridge 😀 We'll go back to the old one in the kitchen till we figure it out 😀
Love chicken casserole, my kids don't like cream of mushroom so I just use cream chicken and all the rest and it's great. Great to see both you and Matt. Peace
I love chicken casserole like this. It's also great as a chicken broccoli rice casserole. I use a box of Zatarain's yellow rice (prepared) for this. Any southern casserole is food for the soul. ❤
If you want to stretch this out to feed more folks, you can add cooked rice to it. It really takes it up another level. I always add a cup of cooked rice and I have been known to add some finely chopped onion. I have also used Pepper Jack cheese in it. Gives it a little pop of heat, but not too much. So many things you can to with this recipe.

The meal looked delicious. The casserole I think we would love and really we would love everything you had including the beets. Granny is in my prayers and your sweet and special family.

I was thinking that also. I also loved that she used a bowl large enough to hold all the ingredients. I bugs me to death to see a cook trying to combine ingredients in a bowl that is too full and ends up falling out on the counter top. LOL. It is just as easy to wash a large bowl as a small bowl. I like that she cleans up her dishes while the casserole cooked.
I love almost any chicken casserole…yours looks delicious….wanted to say that I recently made biscuits using your method & they were a big hit with friends & hubby…I’ve actually made then again yesterday….
