A little seasoning mixed into the soup/gravy mixture makes it even better. Or chopped onion and celery. Also for topping, stuffing is awesome.

Nice and easy and tasty Im sure!. I might want to add some celery. It does seem very very salty. Theres also salt in the butter ( I presume its salted) and the salt in the crackers. I think I might just top it with regular bread crumbs mixed in with a 1/2 stick of unsalted butter

My chicken casserole is a variation of this one that’s AMAZING! I use boiled chicken breast . Shred, add the sour cream and cream of chicken to it and stir . THEN put into the casserole dish. Top with your choice of stuffing. I use Pepperidge Farm or Mrs. Cubbison’s. I make it with celery onion and butter. After it’s on top of chicken mixture I put pats of butter on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 375 for 1hr. The last 15 minutes I uncover so the croutons get a bit crispy. ❤❤

I think adding a vegetable would make it a better meal.

Mama Sue. Try adding dry Italian seasoning to that...delicious.
Or onion, celery, mushrooms and some poultry seasoning…lots of variations, all yummy!

That looks wonderful. Now, as far as using your hands goes....if you've got a germ on your hands that 350 degrees for 45 minutes won't kill, you need to be in the hospital anyway, so don't worry about it. I don't think that recipe could be any easier or any better. Thank you for this.

I have several comments lol.
1) Not only are your hands clean, but this is going in the oven that should kill any tiny microbe you might have missed. ❤
2) For any recipe that I pass on that has Campbell's Cream soup I say, 2 Cans of cream of what the [heck] ever you like. 😂
3) I make something very similar. I start with frozen broccoli, then add the chicken, then the can of cream of wth ever you like mixture that I mix grated cheese into, then crushed salad croutons (no need for butter mixed in).
It's a whole meal in one dish, and everyone absolutely loves it!

I don't understand why anybody would use processed cans of soup in any dish.
Why oh WHY do people with pets start cooking, stop to interact with said pet then go back to cooking without washing your hands??? Your hands are no longer clean because you stopped to feed your dog & went right back to cooking without washing your hands. Ewwwwww. That is a pet peeve of mine!!! 😝
