@Car Cleaning Guru no way. Not a robot personality. Your narration isnt just typical explanation in other channels detailing videos, but yours is a journey and story we are being told. Its descriptive, it teaches, and its informative, not full of garbage. Always look forward to your vids.
Listening to Joe talk is the most incredible thing, I feel like I've learned a life time of new phrases and knowledge just from these videos, easily the most informative and entertaining car detailing channel out there.
Great job. I usually do this every time i change from summer to winter tires or vice versa. I use silicone spray as a sort of dressing and water dispersant on the plastic and rubber parts, instead of the water based dressing, as i think it lasts a bit longer and can actually help with keeping suspension bushings soft and flexible. Further more I use some aerosol cavity wax where i can fit the nozzle in and usually give my rusty metal components a very quick lick of spray paint.
Hey Joe, really enjoyed that. I have the same Tein coilovers as you on my CRZ. I plan to do this in spring and remove the liner to treat any rust hiding behind them and a bit of underseal. Be sure to watch out for that video. Lots more crz content to come
I found that cleaning arches is more important than just making them look nice but for keeping suspension components working well. I had coilovers that squeeked and found that cleaning all the crap out of them helped a lot
Thanks Joe, just a UK diy driveway detailer of my own family fleet, I have been very pleased with 🚗 Gods range, for all round value at my local Tetrosyl car parts shop, in terms of 💷vfm and the off the shelf bigger volumes of their potions. I wish more shops not just online sold 5ltrs as well because fortnightly 🚐🚙🚗 family fleet clean day requires semi bulk useage, but not needing to go OTT buying 25ltr size product. Their red diesel looking pre wash and purple bleeding Iron fall out I rate highly too. I cannot praise Bilt Hamber snow foam enough for leaving such a nice gloss on the paintwork👌and BH’s protection products to motor underside and bay area metals also is top notch as you so elequently spoke about. All the best for this years content CG.
Great video! Love the voice! Have I mentioned before now that you should consider voice acting. Your voice is easy on the ears. Water wasting is only mentioned by those around the globe living in aired climates. Here in Canada we have lots of water, but also use lots of road salts that rush out our vehicles. Use all the water you need to get all those road contaminants off of your car!
Nice job on both the wheel and the arch, did a qiuck job on mine last week with the wheels on just using an underbody lance, couldn't believe the amount of crud that came out
Looks great. I do the same in Spring after snow is done and sand is cleaned off the roads. Interesting to learn about Atom Mac. We only recently have we been able to get BH in the US. The problem with rusted rotors has only had one solution for us and that’s Hyde’s Serum Rust Stopper. It a clear liquid that works well to cut down on rust after washing wheels, but it’s very expensive. Currently it’s $90 for I US gallon (128 fl oz). The Atom Mac is $45 for 500ml (16.9 fl oz). So it’s considerably cheaper when you figur the Atom Mac is a concentrate and can actually make 340 oz at 5% dilution. The Hyde’s is pre diluted. Looking at your rotors it it seems to work at least as well. I’ll have to give it a try when my Hyde’s runs out. I usually only do a light mist to the rotors when wet. It looks like you coat the rotors heavily with it. Is that what it calls for? What dilution do you use it at?
Very enjoyable viewing! I stumbled on a 7- year old episode yesterday, after searching Volvo C30. You've come a long way since then! .....Although, you've maintained the same presentation style which is very commendable. Kind of a trademark. Your narration put me in mind of Ringo Starr narrating the Thomas The Tank Engine series of old - and I mean that in a complimentary way. You would be a good narrator beyond your "specialist subject"!
I liked that repair you performed on the rim "rash". I "bumped" in to the curb and did similar damage to my wife's fairly new car and she's pretty angry with me. I'll try that and see if she calms down :)
Great work, Joe.👍I cleaned the arches on my daily early autumn, then sprayed Bilt Hamber Dynax UC into the arches and along the sills to give them some protection throughout the winter.👍
As a 'Guru', it would be great to see you catch as much of those chemicals before they go down the drain and into the environment. A start from someone would be great. The future nature will love you.
I've been pondering how to clean the wheel arches and suspension on my 02 z06 since last year. I made this too complicated by lifting the whole car off the ground. I finally figured out how when you did one wheel at a time. LOL Best of luck and GB!
i do love how everyone has been brain washed into thinking you can actually "waste" water, Water is indestructible, it may change form but will always turn back into water, any water that is used in any way shape or form also re-enters the water cycle so how can something that you cannot destroy and always enters back into an infinite cycle be wasted...
Yeh I’ve replied with pretty much this before. I think what they mean is clean, treated water but still, plenty of pure stuff falls from the sky on an almost daily basis here.
Once its all clean, does the rubbers, bushings & boots etc need any lubication, like silicone spary or ATP-205, or this cleaning doesn't hurt the rubbers?
when your not into your Detailing most will think of this as overkill . better to tell those people it's to stop rot happening . somewhere you won't always see but it's knowing the it's done , clean and dressed that gives the owner a lift .
I think the wheel scuff repair came up great! I guess you could mask it off and give it a couple of coats of clear & polish to blend if you were worried about it oxidizing - but it's such a small area probably not worth it.
Well done Joe...👍 another great video... What you could fit on your coilovers are some suspension socks they certainly do keep the coilovers a lot cleaner..👍😎
Great job 👏👏. But that car needs treating with Lanoguard. You can see in places on the rear arches that corrosion is beginning to set in. It is a Honda after all.
Great job. But in my opinion there's no sense in cleaning the wheelhouse without taking out the plastic cover. The really dirty parts are covered behind them and cause rust.
Waste of water? If I recall after living there for nearly four years I don't think that a water shortage is coming anytime soon. Still good to conserve as much as feasible though. Looks great. I would think that you get top money for your cars once you decide to sell. I loved your 370z.
Unfortunately i ended up in an overspray removal loop. Diligently re-cleaning the wheel arches to remove overspray from the car clean before then cleaning the car to remove the overspray from the wheel arch clean. This loop went on for 4 exhausting days before the water company cut off my supply.
That was the original plan but it was going to be a nightmare with ten year old brittle plastic clips and rusty old screws so didn’t bother plus half of the fronts were exposed anyway 🤷♂️.
Car guru. Quick q. Given you squirt about a thousand times a day (see Big Train bathroom sketch), what is your favourite go-to trigger sprayer and bottle?
Nice job on the CRZ's arches. Are you planning on applying a ceramic coating to the paint in the good weather, or will you be going with something else?
4:49 - no complaints from me as Thames water left a 4ft fountain to flow for 3 solid days across the road from me. No, it wasn't a cracked pipe caused by ice, THEY caused it when doing some work and just went home at 2pm the first day it happened. God knows how much water was wasted unnecessarily then.
Love your videos. Youre teaching me a whole lot. But, I may not have seen it in the video, but please use a jack stand. It's worth your life and limbs.
This guy needs to do audiobooks; there is so much personality in his voice.
Robot personality 🙈

I was shocked when i finally saw his face for the first time
@@Uglier.
I agree
The voice and face just don't match in my mind.
My man there are very few things on TH-cam as satisfying as your wheel arch cleaning videos. Thanks for the drop
I’d recommend getting behind the arch liner. I’ve seen soil and green shoots hiding in them.

good job, I do the same thing up here in Canada during the spring to remove built up dirt/salt and other junk to help prevent rust.
Fastest trigger finger in the west!! Greetings from Florida
i do this at least once a year after winter, but i also remove the inner liner to remove dirt and other grime as that is what would cause rust etc.
Wheel arch cleaning videos are the best 👌 more please!!
Nice little monday evening treat 👌
Looking forward to next month's viewings 🤙
whao! really impress on the diy wheel fix! such a pleasure to listen and watch your videos!

Great video and commentary. Pragmatic and informative. Thank you for sharing. Lovely job on the scuff.
Man I miss my CRZ. Such a fun little car!
Top job fella , considering buying one of those kranzel washers for car and general use. Stay lucky!
Now that’s putting love into your car, Great Job!!
Mate, I live in Devon, it’s been raining since September so your all good re water use 👍😂

U r a true legend man! Keep it up!
Best episode of The Archers ever….
Joe, came out great! Just did the same process on my red FA5 Si !
As a 'Guru', it would be great to see you catch as much of those chemicals before they go down the drain and into the environment. A start from someone would be great. The future nature will love you.
Nature loves me already as my ecological footprint is way, way lower than most people’s despite me washing cars in a rainy county!
Excellent job Joe! This is what I’m planning to do on my 16 years old Mercedes 🤩
Nice to see more crz content 👌👌

im glad we dont have to do any of that here in Texas! my 1988 Yugo and 1989 Nissan look brand new underside!!

While yes i agree to a very large extent, you still need to expend energy to clean the majority of the water before it is released in any other form
@@Zoranurai13 nah. Depends what you do with it. When the water evaporates it cleans itself in effect.
Yeh I’ve replied with pretty much this before. I think what they mean is clean, treated water but still, plenty of pure stuff falls from the sky on an almost daily basis here.
@@CarCleaningGuru you’re also surrounded by quite a bit of it.
Can I take this video for my English classes? perfect pronunciation and entonation 🤣🤣🤣
The wheels on your daily are 🔥👍. They remind me of Ferrari wheels.
Yeh they’re supposed to be 458 spider reps, just quite a bit smaller!
Nice job, Joe!
Once its all clean, does the rubbers, bushings & boots etc need any lubication, like silicone spary or ATP-205, or this cleaning doesn't hurt the rubbers?
Legend. Great video as usual
Class, we have enough rain in the uk so I like the water usage
🤯Nice job! Those wheels look brand new!
Have you ever removed the screws to get that plastic cladding off and clean underneath? I think rust likes to start under there.

A vacuum Car underbody clean / detail followed by
A full body wash and polish is so therapeutic
To watch but quite exhaustive to perform!

Rain just stopped here in CA time to clean my car🤣
Great job 👏👏.
But that car needs treating with Lanoguard.
You can see in places on the rear arches that corrosion is beginning to set in.
It is a Honda after all.
Did you gather a decent audience, when you vacuumed those back wheel arches?
Ever thought of fitting alloy gators to the rims, protects against scuffs.Tony D.
Great job. But in my opinion there's no sense in cleaning the wheelhouse without taking out the plastic cover. The really dirty parts are covered behind them and cause rust.
Great job as always, does the dressing not attract all the road grime and cling onto it?
I used to do this as a job, to wheel wells of aircraft when I was younger.
Waste of water? If I recall after living there for nearly four years I don't think that a water shortage is coming anytime soon. Still good to conserve as much as feasible though. Looks great. I would think that you get top money for your cars once you decide to sell. I loved your 370z.

I love you videos ! Can u please tell me what brush was the purple one you used on the engine bay ? It looks super sweet 💜
I've given up this year
I believe joe that with your voice; you could voice even the Bible in audio 😉.
You’re wrong, I’d happily watch all four wheels being cleaned.
This
I must say that you should investigate / pursue stage work or voice over employment with your guru gig. Perfect vids from original 1st.
thank you bro, amazing videos
Where are you based and how do I book? Thanks.
Where can we book in with yourself?
Nice vid guru
Excellent. Will you be attending Waxstock this year?
Do you recommend washing in cold or warm water?
Care to treat your CRZ to Bilt Hamber rust-proofing products? would make a great video to watch!
Really got to do my 2015 Honda civic touring because it’s filthy with winter grime and it black so looks terrible 😢
Car guru. Quick q.
Given you squirt about a thousand times a day (see Big Train bathroom sketch), what is your favourite go-to trigger sprayer and bottle?
Any one have advice on treating/repairing the clear coat that's started to disappear on my bonnet?
Let me know if you ever sell them wheels.
Cant whait to do it to my car ones the sunshine come out!
Nice job on the CRZ's arches. Are you planning on applying a ceramic coating to the paint in the good weather, or will you be going with something else?
Do you get an answer ?
Great work
Love the videos
have you considered painting the calipers/upgrading them to brembos etc
I wouldn’t bother painting these ones but would like to upgrade if I keep the car. I hear DC5 Brembos can work but aren’t easy to find.
@@CarCleaningGuru yeah they could look quite tacky just painted. have you considered EBC

A while back you mentioned being interested in the USDM rear seat delete, would you be interested in me trying to source and send it to you?
Hey Guru. Where can we get your new lance from?
Hello - there is no link for the mp9 polisher, is it battery operated?
great video, awesome car !
Do you think about tectyl under?
I always think that some of that elbow grease should be moved to power tools. at least inside the wheel arch area where it doesn't cause problems.
Can you remove somehow the rust over the area on which the rims are placed?
This is a good question. Will cleaning this area lessen the clamping force needed?
What model and spec is that? I want one.
Nice car! Never sell it, just keep it.
Love your videos. Youre teaching me a whole lot. But, I may not have seen it in the video, but please use a jack stand. It's worth your life and limbs.

how do you get your arch liners to bead?
