None of my friends from Papua New Guinea or any of the Pacific Islands use much coconut oil. What they do use is the whole coconut. They even feed it to their dogs. I learned from them the right way to include coconuts in my diet.
I mean, why go the extra steps, it would be a waste of time traditionally to separate the parts just to mix them together again, there is no correct way to use it, there are different ways for different goals, if you only want a meal there is no sense in separating the components, if you want to maximize one property then it does

Refined or not, it's saturated and not good for heart health. This is indisputable.
What’s good for heart health?
@@Emotionlessxartist It's debatable if ANY oil is good for heart health. The polyphenols in olive oil may have some benefit - more research is necessary. But if you are going to have oil have monounsaturated oil which means extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil.
It is well disputed. We have only eaten seed oils for a few hundred years and ate saturated fat for thousands of years before that.

Heavy are the loons in the comments....
Yet somehow they add levity!
Can someone SUM up the video thanks
Bits of me are furry, they must be bad too !
Avoid em both Thomas D and your heart will thank you for it - coconut oil refined virgin or organic is totally toxic to the heart - the health benefits are all cancelled out due to this oil being a slow acting poison if consumed on a regular basis - use it only on the outside of your body ie massage lotions potions etc and for cleaning - that’s all the uses that coconut oil is good for in my opinion - I would never eat this disgusting stuff - olive oil is where it’s at for me - why everyone touts coconut oil as the holy grail of oils I’ll never know - the only goodness about coconuts is the water !
Your welcome !
Stating the obvious

Coconut oil is only "bad" in America according to American Heart Association which is sponsored by Procter & Gamble. Coconut oil (not sponsored by seed oil manufacturers) is very good for Asian and consumed in Asia for thousand of year.
