I agree. Its a a very smoorh real and i like it more than my Stradic C14. reel. There is no play in the handle which i like a lot.

I just bought this today. It's beautiful. However I'm trying to figure out how the hell to store it properly as the handle doesn't fold, or collapse. I guess I could take it off but then I risk losing the thing. Other than that it's perfect

You forgot to mention this little smooth power house has 25lbs of drag!! More than the BG!

I bought two of these fuego 2500.
One started squeeking and grinding the second time out.. the other one doesn’t spool the line properly and always causes knots and tangles. I also purchased a Daiwa spinning rod that broke before I got to use it.. so I’m 3 for 3 with daiwa products that suck! Why did I ever stray away from shimano

Damn man I have a beauty daiwa bg spinning reel the 2500. Did you put the line on correctly? And me personally I have never been a fan of daiwa rods only their reels. Shimano rods are great

Look at a Fenwick hmg inshore medium light 7ft or a medium 7ft .. I just purchased another fuego 2500d-xh I like them very smooth

I had to put a stack of four shims under the spool just to raise it enough so the line doesn’t stack up crazy uneven

It does, if you hook up to a donkey.
That’s why I personally prefer the Stradic which has the metal body and foot, which provided for a much more rigid feel and overall confident fishing experience.
