We can’t gloss over the fact that Netflix chose to cast a member who clearly exhibited signs of mental and emotional distress. Danielle should have never been on that show. All the people in this type of show cannot be in a relationship due to some specific reasons. They are all good-looking, so it comes down to their baggage. Danielle has a very strange family, her mother is a case of what mothers should never do to insecure daughters. His family also has issues - everybody looked like had something to hide... weird... Hardly ever ever ever people will find love on TV - sure, we had the 2 cases in season 1, but even the producers couldn´t believe what happened with Cameron and Lauren - they were like - what?? this thing works? - They themselves said in an interview that Cameron and Lauren were magical and one in a million. Pure luck, and even so, I bet they are facing problems in real life, as they have very different backgrounds, although they are just adorable together. Season 2 and season 3 were taped one after the other, so all casting was done for both seasons. I believe season 2 had team B and season 3 has team A, A as in more chances of working out. Season 2 was a train wreck from the get-go, none of those couples are even closely compatible and everybody had way too many issues and did not look like ready to commit to a serious relationship with anybody. Season 3 is going on now and in the pods and after they met, I thought some of them were compatible, but after a few days in Malibu (phase 2) and the reunion, plus a lot of drinking, some of those people don´t seem for real. A lot of them do stuff for the cameras, so we just don´t know how for real those things are... we shall see...

This man is so incredibly patient and a rare gem. I’m rooting he finds the love of his life, he really deserves that and I feel that even if Danielle is a good person she has a lot of unresolved traumas that she needs to work on. It’s hard to find a man like Nick who will hash it out and try his hardest and fight for the relationship etc.

The shade towards Nick was unwarranted. We saw the show. The “not making you feel like you’re good enough” most likely translates to the partner wanting to leave the relationship/toxicity. People are allowed to leave and shouldn’t have to sacrifice their own mental well-being to show loyalty and dedication to someone they cared about. It’s not right. In cases like these, the toxic partner needs to work on themselves before entering a relationship. It’s not up to someone else to stand by your side through thick and thin when the thick is unreasonable.
I agree Nick seemed like the glue. All Danielle ever did was make him feel inferior. She pushes people away who get too close. Danielle even admitted to self sabatoging on the show when her mom called her out. I genuinely believe she wasn't ready to do the show.
I love Nick. He tried so hard to deal with her crazy; it was a Herculean effort and I wish I could find someone so cute, caring, and compassionate. Sorry for them both.
I don't think therapy will help. She's already aware of her issues, but she treats them as if they're valid reasons to be the way she is. Therapy won't work unless she admits to herself that it doesn't work and that she really needs to change
Nick did really try and love her, he wasn’t perfect but I always felt like he really did care about her. But they just triggered each other BADLY and that’s never healthy.
I think it’s your partners job to trigger you and show you your wounds that need healing and work. It’s your job to manage your reaction to that trigger. I personally would like to have a partner that triggers my wounds because then I know what needs attention. But some people just do not have the emotional regulation skills for that kind of relationship to be productive

As someone with a personality disorder I will be the first to say it is NO excuse to disregard others in the moment. To me it never seemed as though she was working to manage her emotional lability.

Im sorry to say it but the split was not surprising just sad. For both their hearts I feel it for them! I know she has security issues but from what was shown on the show she self sabotaged a lot and never really took accountability for her own insecurities. I saw the show and her phantom perceived insecurities were red hot flags. Its a shame because she would overreact at a false sense of reality. He must’ve gone crazy trying to navigate that, but it is odd that everyone chose her side. Often people follow the loud ones, but I’ve found in life the quiet ones usually are truth tellers: they have nothing to prove & nothing to hide.

I imagine that is exactly that kind of manipulative and poor behavior that trapped him for so long is why he’s where he’s at. Your true friends family and people who get it and people who love you will get it and understand will get it. She needs therapy.
My wife and I were together 6 months before we got engaged and then were engaged 10 months after that. We have a great and healthy marriage but here is the thing, we also needed pre marital counseling. If we needed it these people need it SOOO much more. I understand the show is for great tv (and believe me there has been some unbelievable television on this show), but it’s better if they can actually last and have a successful marriage. They need to go into their wedding day equipped for what lies ahead and how to deal with living in a fishbowl as well as how to have a healthy marriage.
The show is entertaining don’t get me wrong but I feel what he is saying completely and I’ve always said I don’t think this is the best way to find true love especially when you don’t have phones or any outside distractions. it’s easy to fall in love and focus on the one person when there’s literally nothing else to occupy your time besides that person.
I think the show format is fine, but maybe it should end in engagement, not marriage! Because I think the divorce rate will just go up as the show goes on. Easier to end an engagement then a marriage and you can still kinda date and figure it out instead of having to jump into the real world marriage from the TV show. Like I love Love Island but worse that happens is the couples break up after. And the couples that do end up married are like the ‘bonus’ stories not a failure of the format.

Danielle does need therapy, her attachment style was not to overcome her wounds she likes the idea of someone always catering to her drama it’s how she identifies “love” Yes love your partner and help each other heal but to not stay in a constant state of being a victim. If she don’t want to do the work to grow, he did the right thing to leave the relationship. Both have some emotional maturing to do. I hope they both find love and peace of mind.

Danielle is a person who's REALLY hard to love. She has so many issues she needs to work on BEFORE being ready to be in a relationship. It was honestly painful to see how she'd sabotage her relationship all the time with Nick. He could have been more patient with her, but she made matters worse every single time. I feel like if she doesn't deal with her deep rooted issues, she's going to be alone for a very long time.

Men hate when women are honest with their emotions. We women need to suppress our feelings or else we are labeled "crazy". Danielle deserves a man who will work through things with her. I believe there is often a misunderstood difference between acknowledging your MH and being accountable for it. As someone with a personality disorder I will be the first to say it is NO excuse to disregard others in the moment. To me it never seemed as though she was working to manage her emotional lability.
He did everything for her and that still wasn’t enough. He deserves someone who values and appreciates him for who he is. I hope he has learned that he deserves a healthy love. She’s young and from the beginning we were aware of her insecurities and issues. Hopefully she’ll grow and they both find their suitable match ❤
She was both crazy and selfish. He should have ran along time ago. She may be a good person but her insecurities made her a toxic partner. You're supposed to do the inside work/ healing before the relationship.
That show is gonna he sued one day. They did not do their due diligence and encouraged crappy mismatch couples for ratings. It’s not that difficult to get mental health professionals to weed out the crazies and they choose not to because crazy sells.
Exactly ! I think this show is very toxic at this point, they are choosing people based on who will give them the most ratings/views ! Is not about helping people find their matches. Like why would they allow people in their early 20’s to participate in this show ? (Talking about season 3 ) like why the fuck would they choose bartise, cole and Matt for this show ? They are obviously picking shallow people that will bring drama to the show so they can get the most ratings ! They should sue this show! People are walking in with high hopes (at least some, mostly women) and they walk out with low confidence and feeling like they have no worth, like let’s remember season 2 and how that went !

Im sorry to say it but the split was not surprising just sad. For both their hearts I feel it for them! I do feel Nick put in a lot and Danielle probably did too but looking from the outside she didn’t seem like a whole healed person and sometimes when someone is trying to love you that might just not be enough. Like he said "we just weren't compatible". That's what I felt too watching them together. However, there are two in a relation and putting the blame on just one party is wrong. He has a lot of class and he will definitely find someone new!

I saw the show and her phantom perceived insecurities were red hot flags. Its a shame because she would overreact at a false sense of reality. He must’ve gone crazy trying to navigate that, but it is odd that everyone chose her side. Often people follow the loud ones, but I’ve found in life the quiet ones usually are truth tellers: they have nothing to prove & nothing to hide.

The night he went to the party and she didnt, allowed him to go and then made him feel bad for going for a few hours, that’s exactly a good representation of how and why their relationship deteriorated. I imagine that is exactly that kind of manipulative and poor behavior that trapped him for so long is why he’s where he’s at. Your true friends family and people who get it and people who love you will get it and understand will get it. She needs therapy.
My wife and I were together 6 months before we got engaged and then were engaged 10 months after that. We have a great and healthy marriage but here is the thing, we also needed pre marital counseling. If we needed it these people need it SOOO much more. I understand the show is for great tv (and believe me there has been some unbelievable television on this show), but it’s better if they can actually last and have a successful marriage. They need to go into their wedding day equipped for what lies ahead and how to deal with living in a fishbowl as well as how to have a healthy marriage.
It’s unfortunate how none of these marriages lasted on this season.

The show is entertaining don’t get me wrong but I feel what he is saying completely and I’ve always said I don’t think this is the best way to find true love especially when you don’t have phones or any outside distractions. it’s easy to fall in love and focus on the one person when there’s literally nothing else to occupy your time besides that person.
I think the show format is fine, but maybe it should end in engagement, not marriage! Because I think the divorce rate will just go up as the show goes on. Easier to end an engagement then a marriage and you can still kinda date and figure it out instead of having to jump into the real world marriage from the TV show. Like I love Love Island but worse that happens is the couples break up after. And the couples that do end up married are like the ‘bonus’ stories not a failure of the format.

I thought we learned from all of the cringy 2000’s Married at First Sight/ matchmaker/ social experiment reality shows that it just doesn’t work.
