Bartise makes the relationship out to be much more of a rollercoaster than it ever was. He was the only one in a rollercoaster, she reassured him every step of the way that she was all in and gave him grace all the time.

Confused by Nancy attacking Cole more than Bartiste, who treated her horribly and then left her at the altar in the most narcissistic way. I was so mad how Bartise dodged the bullet at the reunion. I feel like Nancy is like I 16year old who would crawl back to the same guy because he is hot. I didn’t like the way Bartise handled her family at all after the I don’t. He seemed attracted to Nancy at 1st... until he saw Raven and his ego kicked in (probably large in part because she wasn't into him, and he couldn't take the rejection 🙄). It's not that he didn't like Nancy anymore... It's that he wanted to keep his options open, which is not what the show is all about - like that part is over once he was engaged... he had his chance to explore in the pods. Later, he started feeling pressure and shut down physically but imo, that was a him thing not a Nancy thing. He would have done better on a Bachelor in Paradise or a Love Island where they have the opportunity to try out different partners. Love is definitely not blind or deep for I Robot Bartise lol
I love how Nancy family don't play about her but hated how she kept telling them to go away. At the same time I understand. She needed to say her final thoughts without chaos. Bartise said her brother is messing everything up but it was him when he said I don't.

I can see it being necessary if she was being abused and they needed to step in to save her life but this was an experiment. He had a right to say I do not like everyone else on the show. It's not right for people's family to want to fight someone over that. They are the two parties who were going to get married or not. It's concerning that they were this intrusive because what would it be like if they actually did get married and he was really into her. Will her family always be in the middle of their marital decisions ? There is a place and a time.to be supportive and this was not it. They simply could have spoken to her in private. They didn't even have to acknowledge Bartise after the fact because he ended any idea of being a part of her family and was no longer their concern.

I’m not sure what your background is but you probably have no idea how Hispanic moms can be. American moms respect their kids space. Why can't people see that Bartise just didn't like Nancy for who she is. It was maybe a little of the physical thing but he was so taken back with her stance on abortion and her family was not welcoming. They acted like she was too good for him just because she had more money (and her mother looked like she would have been a mother-in-law from hell). The only one who could have stopped the relationship between Barista and Nancy is Barista. Nancy is sweet but she has the self-respect of a doormat. I know from my perspective that level of pain strife and disrespect from a prospective partner is not worth it but clearly she thought their relationship could be fixed, she was willing to wait and take so much. NANCY PLEASE READ (And anyone going through a similar situation) I’m sorry but you need to cut that man off and have some respect for yourself and put yourself first -it is so empowering to close that door on that sad excuse of a man- time will go by and he will realise what a gem he lost and that is only if you close that door the audacity he has to continue to speak to you he shouldn’t even be able to say your name out of respect do not let him walk all over you he lives for this attention and love you give I know you still love him but you needs to realise that you fell in love with a fake person, dis-attach the person you fell in love with from this imposter you need to grieve the love you felt because I know it was real for you but it’s gonna be worth it in the end and you will be content and happy and you will attract the person who deserves your heart but you have to deserve your heart first and when this imposter comes back running because he realised there’s no one like you or your heart he needs to be too afraid to even come near your door he is not allowed anywhere near you you need to protect yourself and put yourself first because no one else will and you can’t expect anyone to fight your battles for you
What will help get over this love is to grieve that love and grieve that person you thought you knew he is dead to you and there is no coming back from the dead! TAKE HIM DOWN FROM THAT PEDESTAL YOU PUT HIM ON AND THROW HIM OUT OF YOUR HEART AND LIFE

The only one who could have stopped the relationship between Barista and Nancy is Barista. Nancy is sweet but she has the self-respect of a doormat.
I know from my perspective that level of pain strife and disrespect from a prospective partner is not worth it but clearly she thought their relationship could be fixed, she was willing to wait and take so much. I hope Nancy builds herself up before her next relationship.

Nancy annoyed me in the reunion. But I do respect her for not taking bartise’s crumbs. Her telling her family to back off and saying no we’re done when he offered to hopefully continue after, showed how much respect she has for herself.
