As wild as this sounds … of the 11 couples who actually got married over the 6 seasons of Love Is Blind .. 9 are still together . That’s an impressive statistic
The contracts that the contestants sign, likely without a lawyer reviewing it, is the definition of insane, but they would have to go to court to fight it which is expensive enough and they might not win since they signed the contract. The producers of these shows love to play the game where they very heavily imply they have to do things because of the contract even if that is not true because they can always sue even if they have no case.
Actually that opposite, he had to prove to production that he was detached and that the storyline couldn’t continue or they would have forced the wedding and made him do the “No” at the altar. I’m willing to bet that was a crazy conversation for him to prove to him he was over and done with it!
In NC you can't file for divorce until you've been separated for a year. This show is entertaining but honestly who would want to do this? Divorce is a pain in the butt.
Really gross how so many people in the comments can’t just admit some of the practices of the show are insane and shouldn’t be allowed. It really doesn’t matter that they signed up, the fact is some of these practices are unethical, unnecessary, and shouldn’t be allowed period.
😂😂😂😂 What are you talking about??! Out of 134 comments I came across only 2 comments that say "They signed up for this nonsense" Everyone else agrees that this should be illegal. What's also gross is lying.
@@ohgeez4354 I'm guessing that after the most recent lawsuits, the producers are not pushing nearly as hard to imply that they have to stay or face harsh financial penalties. One of the lawsuits is arguing that they wouldn't let them leave, so any evidence that supports that will hurt their case.
Right how can they get away with saying they are not employees with the amount of work they are FORCED to work. Completely insane and not cool. I don't even want to watch this bs anymore. It's mostly fake at this point.
This is how all reality TV works. The general public need to be more aware of it. Hollywood is a terrible exploitative place to work and is far and away the worst industry on this planet to work in.
Absolutely APPALLING terms and conditions for the cast members. This all really has NOTHING TO DO WITH LOVE. It's really a WONDER that any successful partnerships/marriages result from this sham. All the more reason to celebrate those who do!
I was in a reality show and there were similar non disclosure rules, (other than the couples rules which didn’t apply to my show)this does t seem so far off. Although when I arrived at the hotel, there were no rules about leaving, eating, etc. that’s craziness.

They all chose to do this. I don’t feel bad for them at all. They have the right to not participate with the show. They choose to get TV time and popularity.. it’s called read the fine print carefully lol
Well, I mean...with all of these rules... they still signed contracts & still chose to go through the process anyway. They knew what they were signing up for. The content in the contract is WILD !!! And again, that's what they signed up for.
You can put anything in a contract. Nobody is obligated to sign said contract. That's why you need a lawyer or someone well versed to review any contract.
