Lol kyle was never deeptis best friend. That’s why shayne and shake was so confused when he announced it at reunion. Kyle was desperate for screen time as evidenced by him thirsting after shaina even though she wasn’t interested during the show. It was mainly desperate move by kyle to stay relevant during the show so he can be on after the altar. I think deepti was just desperate for being accepted after breaking up with shake. I think it was one sided, and she brought it on herself when kyle used her to just get screen time until he found the girl he wanted to be with. No matter how much deepti shits on shake, shake was honest and didnt use her. Kyle had the same physical preference shake did, but was not honest about it with deepti and used her for the show.

I think Deepti wouldn’t have ever even looked Kyle’s way had he not said “I regret not proposing to Deepti” at the reunion. That started it all which is odd because then it’s like why start liking someone ALL OF A SUDDEN because they like you first? It seemed like a confidence boost for her at first and then they got attached to the “best friend” title too quickly. That title is usually for people that have only platonic feelings for each other for a while as friends where a friendship is actually established, without pressure or expectations for anything romantic. And for couples, the title usually comes AFTER a long time together. So the title seemed forced either way for them because their “friendship” started off with feelings pretty much off the bat. (Yes I know they knew each other before the reunion but given that they had been in relationships, that friendship wasn’t really explored til the reunion). So in conclusion, my guess is that it stared off with pressure to begin with and just because he complimented her first with that huge statement, not because they’re really each others type or had something substantial to build off of.
Also agree with everyone saying Season 2 was a total waste. Most people were so entirely boring in personality… it was mostly boring to watch.
Season 3 saved the show because if it had been like S2, I would’ve stopped watching it entirely.

I really can't stand it when people are so scared to take a relationship to the next level because they're 'scared of losing the friendship'. Honestly, you can get friends anywhere in the world, what kind of idiot values that over the chance of having a soul mate and life partner? It just completely baffles me. If you'd ever pass on a chance at love for friendship, you've probably never felt real love before and that just makes me really really sad.
That doesn’t make her an idiot. Everyone has a different attachment style. If yours is anxious, then you deeply desire a friendship with regular assurance that they care about you and won’t close the door on you. Your deepest fear would be abandonment. If that’s her attachment style then her fear of losing the friendship is valid and makes complete sense. I’m not saying people should never take things to the next level, but I do think that it’s very difficult as an adult to make friends. Especially a best friend whom you can share everything with without fear of judgement. That type of friendship can be hard to come by as an adult. So it makes sense that she’d value the friendship more over a relationship that could potentially ruin the friendship if it fails.

Right and the sad thing no one realizes is when your "best friend" finally meets someone who's not afraid to get into a relationship you're gonna lose them cause who wants their partner to be friends with someone they once had feelings for. I would rather take the plunge. I love Deepti but she definitely fulfilled what she (probably unbeknownst to her) was to be her own self-fulfilled prophecy. We all do it whether we realize it or not.
It’s an unhealthy habit but we all make it at one time or another. It’s basically when you believe in something with high likelihood to come true, especially if you’re on the edge and so open about her worries of it coming true with Kyle and in every single testimonial about that becoming not possibility but her fate, I definitely think it could’ve worked out if the two of them went full-force into it without worrying so much about the title.
They need to explore their sexual chemistry and that was almost every introduction to her hesitancy to break the friend barrier. You can try things out as friends but she’s very smart, and so she let the fear of her prophecy be self-fulfilling and ultimately her fate while she admits in this interview he did eventually commit so someone else shortly after. He seemed to be ready to try, and while I’m 100% team Deepti (and Kyle is cool), I am just telling you how I see it. I am gay but hesitance to date me or any reluctance whether it be reasonable or not to try things out with me would turn me off and make me not want to try..
So she KNEW this best friendship may possibly result in losing your best friend in a toxic break up. I don’t picture Kyle cheating on her, and while it takes time to get over someone, I truly don’t think the dynamics of their close friendship would be effected long-term, had she not only talked with him and he with her about this prophecy they arguably both had & it indeed did come true. You’re so worried about it coming true, your energy and effort make it come true.

My comments on Natalie…. I thought she was super mature and professional in the actual main season of Love Is Blind 2. I am not here to say that I think she put on a show. I think she was raised well and she means well. There is a reason why Deepti and her connect. Good people hang around good people.
But she caused way too much senseless drama at her own birthday party and frankly ruined it for all the people there with the seemingly not that appropriate instagram texting, even if it were true. That’s not really physically cheating, but nonetheless she got out of a crazy relationship. Not saying her ex is wild but they were never going to last. Their chemistry was off putting the entire season, and I sighed in relief when Natalie realized this was all too rushed and not going to work.
The trust wasn’t there and the backbone of the relationship was missing. It wasn’t 100% because of Shayna. It’s because they’re not a long-term fit.
Wish you girls the best, please stop showing up on tv bc you’re all broken up from season 2 it seems….

Shaina was malicious in her behaviour and actions towards Natalie. She tried to sabotage things between Shaine and Natalie!! Look at how she bad-talked Natalie with Shaine in the pod when it was their turn. She claimed at first that Natalie came back to the women's quarters and said that Shaine asked her to marry him... and that was not so!! She asked Natalie, with a wicked smirk around her mouth, what Shaine had said to her the next time she came in from meeting Shaine, and Natalie told her that he had asked her to be his girlfriend. When Shaina met with Shaine, she stated that Natalie made a point of telling her that he asked her to be his girlfriend! That was not so! Do you see the subtle and mischievous way she went about sabotaging Natalie's and Shaine's relationship then? Not to mention when they met after she broke up with Kyle, and Shaine brought to her attention what she had said to Natalie about if things don't work for them, she knows someone she can introduce her to. Did you see the aggressive, nasty and disrespectful way she spoke about their relationship? She definitely wanted to poison their relationship!! I do think that she and Shaine interacted inappropriately over the course of time, but I think she didn't want him for herself as he didn't choose her, neither did she want him to be with Natalie!! She's a very wicked and conniving woman!!
