I just recently discovered you and have been binging your videos for days! After spending the last 40 years boldly proclaiming the only thing I ever needed on my face was water and sunscreen, I'm now plagued by terrible rosacea and deep deep wrinkles. Sigh. Anyway, now enter you. While I do think you'd agree with my "less is more" approach, I think we can both see where I went wrong, and I'd like to help my daughters (and maybe even sons) avoid the same mistake. I find you to have a very "common sense" approach and manner of speaking that I find very relatable, and I imagine my children would relate to you as well.
I enjoyed your "skincare for your 20s", "30s" "40s" videos. Could you please consider making a similar video such as:
Skincare for Teenagers (popular products and TikTok trends)
Skincare for Adolescents (for example, discussing periods and acne and how certain foods can exacerbate that)
Skincare for Pre-Teens (perhaps explaining that pores get larger and blackheads become more common)
Skincare for College Students/Young Adults (for example, addressing that birth control can suddenly cause acne and if you should switch your regular skin care products or if you should switch your birth control)
    Skincare for Teenage Boys
    Skincare for Young Adult Males
I'm sure you have a very long list of video topics already, but a video targeted to these issues would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Alright. I don't expect I'll receive any response on this but I'll write anyway and hope it will be of help.
    First some background info.
I'm in my mid 20s. I've started using tretinoin 0.025% 2 years ago, on and off. For the past few months I've been using 0.1% strength tretinoin every night, along with a moisturizer. I get little to no irritation since my skin has adapted to it.
My issue is as follows, I've been noticing the formation of undereye fine lines for a while now, and it's been continuously worsening. I didn't have any fine lines under my eyes before, I am certain of this because I've been obsessing over details on my skin since I was 12, mostly because I've always had skin issues (acne, scars, folliculitis, etc.) Now, I clicked on this video in hopes I'd find some methods to help me get rid of those newly formed wrinkles. Seeing how retinol is mentioned, and in my case that is the culprit of my problem, I am now even more confused as to what I should do and why tretinoin caused my issue in the first place.
Any input would be gladly appreciated.

I just read a post on Reddit that said the exact same thing. Tretinion caused deep wrinkles underneath her eyes that weren't there before. Tretinion is an anti aging treatment but it can also dry the skin out which can cause even more wrinkles as a side effect. I'm so sorry for what happened.

Idk if retinol just doesn’t work for me or what but I literally used it for a year and didn’t notice any difference. I really wish she would list off a ton of high end and affordable eye creams that legit work. CAN ANYONE IN THE COMMENTS PLEASE TELL ME WHAT PRODUCTS THEY HAVE USED THAT HAVE ACTUALLY DIMINISHED THE LOOK OF THEIR WRINKLES? Obviously there’s no 1 miracle product and I don’t expect that but I would like to purchase products that will make even a bit of difference..😩😩😩😩

Dr.Dray-- can you please make a video addressing the fact that retinol can cause dry eye disease? Had I known, I would have never used a retinol eye creme by neutrogena. Dry eye is incredibly debilitating and I never heard of it causing dry eye before. It destroys the meibomian glands in your eyes that secrete oil to stabilize the tear film. I feel like I have soap in my eye 24/7 with burning pain. I used it off/on for a year, while also using a vit a serum and eventually differin on the rest of my face.
It is terribly uncomfortable, it hurts to go outside, watch tv, work on the computer. I regret using retinol and people should know about the possible side-effects so they can quit while they're ahead if they're experiencing dry eye symptoms. Also, there is no cure for dry eye-- only symptom management.

I had terrible dry eye. I used Restasis for 2 years faithfully every day morning and night. I stopped using it and my dry eye was cleared up for 10 years. It recently came back (probably because I'm obsessed with "no wrinkles allowed around my eyes")and used so many different products. Anyway, I'm going on 72 and still have next to "Very Little" wrinkles that are diminished by intense moisturizing. However, my dry eye is back and I'm now trying Xiidra which is working well at clearing it up. Why would you go on suffering from Dry Eye when there are those 2 medications out there that work great? Until they kick in and totally relieve your dry eye you can use Blink or Systane in the mid-day to relieve it. Just wait at lest a few hours before using either of those to make sure that the med get absorbed first.

My skin was beyond recognition. Dull, pale with spots and wrinkles. And I'm only 34, don't smoke or drink. But I'm stressed. My skin is dry and sensitive and I have wrinkles especially on my forehead and under my eyes. I've started using Cerave Face Cream with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid 2 months ago. One participant wrinkle I had in between my eyebrows has gone! Those under my eyes have smoothed out a lot and I feel like those on my forehead have a bit too. I'm struggling not to make face expressions when I talk and I'm sure that contributed too.
This is my skin routine for now:
Morning: Cetaphil detergent for sensitive skin, Cerave Face cream and Avène sunscreen SPF 50+.
And in the night I wash my face with a calming detergent from Toleriane and apply the same face cream. That's it. I haven't yet found a wrinkle treatment for me. Most have perfume in it and it's not good for sensitive skin

The best mineral sunscreen that does not sting my eyes or make me break out is: Astivita face and body sunscreen lotion.
Warning though, it isn’t hydrating (learned that the hard way haha) so make sure to thoroughly moisturize your skin, especially around the eyes! It may feel tacky and like you’re spreading petroleum jelly on your face but it’s the only one that doesn’t make my eyes puff and cry and sting. It also doesn’t have a smell, like you know when you go outside and the sun hits you and your sunscreen smells like citrus/chemicals as it’s working? yea, this doesn’t do that 😆. I ordered it in amazon it’s affordable af.
