I've been using it for 5 weeks and love it . I use Differin so this was a product I can use along side Differin . Dr Dray is right ( as usual ! ) you only need a rice grain amount and is a little greasy . I apply before moisturiser and only use in eye area where I can not use Differin . I will buy again and will !!! Hope that helped 🙏
@@johncheffy4775 what is the concentration of Retinal in this product? I feel like the concentration is very negligible that it doesn't do anything to the skin. It is also made in Korea and they do not put potent actives in their products. However the supporting ingredients are good and they are pretty much doing all of the leg work.
@@jam6web84 it's 0.2%, so low but still enough to be effective over time
I really enjoy their sunscreen so I'm interested in trying this out too! And for the price, way cheaper than Avene so I might use all over my sensitive face 😅

I love BoJ products. Their sunscreen is amazing! I most likely will try this, Ive never been disappointed with any of their products. I am partial to K skin care.
I think I will give it a try, but I noticed that Geek & Gorgeous A-game 0.1 works well for me around the eye area.
Entering my 30s soon and moving to and living in a DRRYYYYYY climate I noticed my eye area being more dry and getting more wrinkly. When I use my normal face product around my eye it feels ‘sweaty’, so wanted to look for something lightweigt to hydrate and help my fine lines! Can’t wait to order it, big fan of BOJ!

Please review the brand Numbuzin - it is apparently the top seller in Olive Young (Korea’s South Korea). Their toner features around 10(?) fermented ingredients and their overnight mask uses Icelandic glacier water. Would be really interesting to hear your thoughts on this

Yay, thank you for reviewing this hidden gem! I’m very pleased with this product, and this is the only eye product I’ve ever been able to say this about. I’ve been using it about 5 weeks and I am 53. I’ve got typical age-related loss of elasticity but also an increase in the bumpy texture of my skin, especially on my upper eyelids. My skin is on the dry/sensitive side, especially when using exfoliating acids and retinoids (I use .025% tretinoin every other day but not on my eye area). I did get some irritation for the first few applications, and experienced redness and flaking. But now I can use it every day or so with no issues- it seems to have a tightening effect and has significantly smoothed out the texture in my upper eyelid. I use this on my upper and lower eye area, and see the most benefit along the upper portion of my eye. This is one of the VERY few products I will repurchase.
Their sunscreen is also one of my favorites- it has the consistency of a moisturizer, has no scent, absorbs quickly and is not sticky or shiny. It plays well with other makeup products- this may be another repurchase for me. My other holy grails are the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner and Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy, Oat Repairing Cream.
Hi, If you don't mind answering - do you use this on the same days as tretinoin or should it be different days.. I'm just starting out and trying to avoid as much irritation that I can.

I've been using this product for over a month. I only use it at night. I find it pleasant to use and haven't experienced any irritation I attribute to it. I do think it helps my eye area looks hydrated and refreshed. I use it on the rest of my face on the nights when I don't use a retinol. I do think the melasma on my cheek is looking a shade or two lighter. And, for eye cream, it's a huge tube!

I’ve been using this for about 2-3 weeks and have been loving it!! It hasn’t been long enough to see results but it’s been very hydrating and hasn’t dried out my under eyes, which is very common for me. The texture is really nice & it’s very gentle.

I recently ordered this, and it goes on so nice and should last a long time. I had tried the Versed Smooth Landing eye balm retinoid, and I found it hard to get any out of the container without digging in with my finger nails. It's kind of like a tiny tub of petrolatum but much firmer and doesn't soften enough to get enough on the finger even after rubbing several times. I think it also was the bit contributing factor of dry eyes at the time. The Beauty of Joseon one feels so nice on the skin, like I'm using expensive eye patches or something, and my eyes don't feel really dry the next day. The only thing I dislike is the bottle only having one flat end. I have difficulty with pressing pumps if I can't stand them up to push my weight down on. I'm sure after more use I'll figure out an easier way to press it...

@@awaseyosetsu Unknown at this point. I'm still working through it. I've used it probably 10 months, and I think there's still plenty. I use it 5x per week and only use it under my eyes. I only use a little drop per eye though, which is all I believe you need.

I’ve always been looking for eye cream that could help my dark circles, and i finnaly found this one. After 2 weeks of use i noticed circles light up and i was able to go out make up free for thr first time. Also noticed that concealer doesn’t leave dry patches any more. I love this product.

I have this eye cream. I just started using it a few weeks ago. The consistency is very nice. I have sensitive skin and the first week I used this every day for at least 5 days and became irritated. I took two weeks off, let my skin heal and now use it twice a week with no problem. I am probably about 2 months into the product. I will probably add one more night but definitely not more than that because I just don't want to over do it. I really like it. To soon to see results other than softness. I have some deep wrinkles so it may take a while 🤣🤣🤣. Its definitely worth a try and a very affordable price point 😉
By irritation, do you mean dryness and burning sensation? I am experiencing that after using this for like a week.

Omg I LOVE this eye serum! I’ve been using it since it came out every single night before tretinoin and then tretinoin allover my face avoiding my eyes because it dries my eyes out. I haven’t gotten dried out eyes with the beauty of joseon. I feel like it’s the BEST DEAL and a steal of a deal for 1 Oz of product in an airless pump bottle. From my calculations it is a 0.03% retinaldahyde but they advertise it as a 0.02% 🤷♀️ which doesn’t add up for some reason. This could totally be used allover the face as well for someone who can’t use a 0.05% retinaldahyde which is the most common I’ve found. And the other thing with this eye serum it’s the ONLY retinaldahyde that I’ve used that doesn’t pill whi ccv is strange. I’ve used them all and they all pill on me for some reason 😅

Long time Joseon user. I have been using this eye cream for about four weeks. First two weeks was daily, noticed some irritation- partially from using too much product (as you mentioned). I backed off, let my skin recover and am now happy with the results of three times per week, rice grain amount. It works, just find your groove. The price is on point!

@the dr yes, now I only use at night. Isntree TW real eye cream is also amazing- less actives, very soothing.

I just ordered this! I was going to do my normal Avene retinal, but this looked so good and it’s so affordable I figured I could obviously use it on the rest of my face too, it’s a decent size bottle too.
Yeah, it is about the same size as many retinol face products
Will switching from 0.1% retinal to 0.02% retinal still deliver anti-ageing benefits to the face long term despite the latter being of low concentration? I'm using the Avene cleanance smoothing night cream with 0.1% retinal but the product's got fragrance.
@@venofoz3597 From what I understand and the studies I’ve read, even from a low concentration like 0.025%, you will get the same results as the higher concentrations of tret. The big difference is that the higher concentrations can give you greater side effects.
I purchased the Dysnast Cream, Sun Relif Suncreen and the toner, really excited to prove. Thanks for review, this brands apparently it is excellent.

Mad About skin did a video recently about this product. I personally am a huge fan of eye creams because the skin around my eyes have always been extremely dry. I bought this, love it. I do need a full pump full to cover the skin around both eyes. I rice size won’t cut it. Everyone is different.

@@awaseyosetsua good 6months or more if you only use it under your eyes. You need the tiniest amount and it comes in a 30ml (1oz) container so quite generous quantity for an eye cream. I stopped using it as I can tolerate Tretinoin under my eyes, but finished it off using it on my neck which is more sensitive.
