Jean was my first 5-star, I got her before I even understood what 4/5-star meant. Now I literally can't imagine playing without her. Love her both technically and as a character story-wise!
Jean was the first character I ever level to 90. She is also my first character to receive a crown. Without a doubt, she is my favorite character in the entire game and certainly one of the most underrated ones.
The problem with "standard" 5-star characters is you can't plan who you get. I find it MUCH easier to get a specific 5-star event character than any of the standard ones. So unless you are wishing like crazy forget about building specific standard character. You may never get it to begin with, or you may get like 2-3 copies right away, and not necessarily who you wanted.

Jean overall feels like that ultimate "D2 Paladin" She hits like a truck while being borderline immortal. If you have a Favonia sword and Jean in your acc, i highly recommend making her your main. You will be very surprised.
I was hoping we would get to see her do her force choke. Where she ults then picks up an enemy on the edge of it and swing them in and out of the circle slowly killing them. One of my favorite ways to kill the last Hilichurls in a group!
If I lose 50/50 for Canadian Aether (I already have saved 70 wishes, most ever for me and if I don’t i will cry) I will main dps Jean for a month (and if I get him I’ll build her as support)

She's probably the most versatile unit in the game and definitely one of the best investments you can make if you have her on your account. I don't see how you can pass up such good and consistent damage and healing. Not to mention she can swirl and cleanse.

There are these phases where Jean goes from being underappreciated to highly sought after. The first phase was when people realized how invaluable she can be in Spiral Abyss due to fall damage, then she went back to being underappreciated. The second phase was when people realized how her C4 could massively buff Xiao's damage. The third phase is the current phase, and it is now because people realize how quickly she can strip Lector shields when combined with Bennett.

I summoned for baal but got Jean instead but I was happy nonetheless because she looks really gorgeous and can help me make a good quick swap team which I like
jean was the 2nd 5 star i ever got. since then she is constantly on my teams. While her damage is not as good as that of a pure damage carry, it is still good enough to defeat any content, while her heals keep my team alive, her cleanse removes pesky debuffs and her skills just feels super fun to use. She is so versatile that she can carry my teams through any content. Plus i really love her default outfit! :3

I just got her yesterday with 5 stars... I've only been playing a few days so I kind of feel like I'm not appreciating her enough either. Mainly because she has the same vision as my traveler. They're both lvl 20 but I feel like it'll be harder to level her than my traveler.. Am I looking at this wrong?? All tips appreciated.
since she is a 5 star, leveling her up would be harder. however, the result is worth it, since she does everything better than the anemo traveler. still, if you like the traveler more, use the traveler. it’s a game, have fun.
Who needs the statue of seven when you have Jean in your party? She's my first 5 star character and she carried me all the way till world level 8. Very versatile!

Honestly, I got her from the beginner banner all the way back in 1.0 and I never appreciated her enough, I loved her design but I never really got to build her since I was drawn a lot more to characters like Ganyu, Keqing, and Klee for example. But due to the summer event and her getting a costume, I decided to get the costume (because it looked nice to me) and started building her. And honestly, if I could go back in time I would’ve punched myself in the guts and told me to “Build her”, she’s friendship level 10 only because for the past months Jean pretty much was just an “E then Ult” character for healing. But now that I’ve gotten some better artifacts and learned to build characters. She’s a staple on my team and one of my favorite supports in genshin.
There's a trick to getting fall damage twice out of a single skill use: first stun the enemy in the air with charged attack, then look towards the floor when activating and holding your skill. This slams the enemy into the floor for fall damage before you even launched them.

I finally got Jean & she's staying with my Diluc team. I don't know what's the best 5 star support weapon for her. Either Aquila Favonia or Skyward Blade (both I don't have but desire). I have a Freedom Sworn but worried that Jean's Swirl isn't like Kazuha's or Venti's.

You know, I really know get why people who main her ADORE HER. Like, she's so good. She can hit, she can crit, she can tank and she's a default healer. Sure, losing the 50/50 sucks but against her? Feels like a bless. Plus, her materials are obtainable no matter when you start. I got her on Itto's banner, and I despise her. Now I know I got a gem because even Itto carries the abyss (I still got him hours before the end of his banner), Jean will always carry my team until Hoyoverse decides its time. I prayed she ruined my Kazuha pity but she eluded me and let me have Kazuha. Sigh I WANT HER CONS SO MUCH. AHHH. She's never leaving my team and I basically feel helpless if she's not on the team. I got Jean miraculously after getting Eula and I must say, I like her more. Is thanks to her that I finally could clear flour 11 (with 9 stars! I couldn't even end the fucking thing before) and even clear floor 12 with 5 stars. I still like Eula, but her ult is horrible, it only works against bosses. But jean is perfect for every ocation, and with Bennett... godly combo.

And she already at C2. The 1st time i got her was in standard banner, then when I lose 50/50, and standard banner again. Love her!

No doubt in my mind that I was getting her all 3 crowns, constellations, and a 5 star sword. Today my Jean is C3, lvl.90, 10/10/13, full physical build on 2pc PF/2 pc BS, and I just got Primordial Jade Cutter to drop today. Also invested into her swimsuit but shame on Mihoyo not making it flashier with effects and new lines. Love her to death but now I have to rebuild her artifacts due to new sword.
First i got aquila favonia from aquiant fates. I was like oh damn nice weapon. I checked who works well with it and it was Jean. I wanted to get her as soon as possible. I got another golden character but it was diluc. Even tho I wanted him i wasn't too happy. Later on i tried wishing for kokomi. I saw that golden falling star and i thought "oh nice i got kokomi". And i actually lost that 50/50 to get Jean. I was actually a lot happier when that happened because i never planned to use kokomi anyway 😆 Now i use her as my main DPS, i still need to get a better team for her tho, because Mona Diona and yanfei don't seem to be that good. Maybe Diona is fine idk 🤔 I should add raiden shogun to that team because i like the electro attack buff

She's one of, if not, the only characters with an ability that can increase damage infinitely since it basically scales with world level/enemy level

jean was the 2nd 5 star i ever got. since then she is constantly on my teams. While her damage is not as good as that of a pure damage carry, it is still good enough to defeat any content, while her heals keep my team alive, her cleanse removes pesky debuffs and her skills just feels super fun to use. She is so versatile that she can carry my teams through any content. Plus i really love her default outfit! :3
Jean is my first 5 star, at first I thought she was trash until I built her and very soon she had become my favorite 5 star and I don't regret leveling her to level 90

Jean was my first five star, since I lost the 50/50 for Zhongli. I was sad at first, but now I use Jean wayyy more than any other five star character. I’ve also barely had to use food ever since I built her enough to heal my team. She’s amazing!

i actually really liked jean the first time i saw her in the game and i wanted her in my team so bad. the first banner i ever pulled was just the recent hu tao banner about a month ago and i lost my 50/50 to jean but i literally jumped in my seat out of happiness because i always wanted her and it didn't matter i lost the 50/50 bc i had jean (but also i got hu tao after a few pulls after that anyways haha!) and she really has been a consistent support and dps in the team, i can't imagine my team now without her, she's so pretty and i love her so much
I've been playing since day one, and just two days ago I finally got her.
Been massacring hilichurls for the past two days but the jerks just don't give enough masks.
I benched her for a long time, just because she was so expensive to build in comparison to other healers, but she's so valuable in spiral, I might try to fully build her for the sake of clearing abyss

I got her as my first 5 star. I didn't know much about playing so she basically did everything because I was saw her healing was based on attack.
I jsut got Jean from Hu Tao banner (I actually wanted guaranteed itto lol) and she's amazing. She' only lvl 60 wiith level 80 Festering desire. Her talents are level 4 if Im not mistaken. My artifacts are quite decent 50:130 ish. 2pc noblesse and 2pc vv. Her e deals 10k+ already aaa
I just got her yesterday with 5 stars... I've only been playing a few days so I kind of feel like I'm not appreciating her enough either. Mainly because she has the same vision as my traveler. They're both lvl 20 but I feel like it'll be harder to level her than my traveler.. Am I looking at this wrong?? All tips appreciated.
since she is a 5 star, leveling her up would be harder. however, the result is worth it, since she does everything better than the anemo traveler. still, if you like the traveler more, use the traveler. it’s a game, have fun.
The only thing left is to get her now I guess...

Honestly, I got her from the beginner banner all the way back in 1.0 and I never appreciated her enough, I loved her design but I never really got to build her since I was drawn a lot more to characters like Ganyu, Keqing, and Klee for example. But due to the summer event and her getting a costume, I decided to get the costume (because it looked nice to me) and started building her. And honestly, if I could go back in time I would’ve punched myself in the guts and told me to “Build her”, she’s friendship level 10 only because for the past months Jean pretty much was just an “E then Ult” character for healing. But now that I’ve gotten some better artifacts and learned to build characters. She’s a staple on my team and one of my favorite supports in genshin.

There's a trick to getting fall damage twice out of a single skill use: first stun the enemy in the air with charged attack, then look towards the floor when activating and holding your skill. This slams the enemy into the floor for fall damage before you even launched them.

I pulled Mistsplitter for Ayaka so Jean could use Jade Cutter. Absolutely amazing, best girl, wouldn't mind "losing" next 50/50 for her.
I just got her C1 from Kazuha's banner (whom I also got a C1 so I'm not mad)
Then I went to activate it and read what the C1 does and was like
...FORTY PERCENT?! There must be some caveat to this, surely...

Sadly I can never get good Viridescent pieces even for Kazuha, so I don't know how to build her :(

I finally got Jean & she's staying with my Diluc team. I don't know what's the best 5 star support weapon for her. Either Aquila Favonia or Skyward Blade (both I don't have but desire). I have a Freedom Sworn but worried that Jean's Swirl isn't like Kazuha's or Venti's.

You know, I really know get why people who main her ADORE HER. Like, she's so good. She can hit, she can crit, she can tank and she's a default healer. Sure, losing the 50/50 sucks but against her? Feels like a bless. Plus, her materials are obtainable no matter when you start. I got her on Itto's banner, and I despise her. Now I know I got a gem because even Itto carries the abyss (I still got him hours before the end of his banner), Jean will always carry my team until Hoyoverse decides its time.

I prayed she ruined my Kazuha pity but she eluded me and let me have Kazuha. Sigh I WANT HER CONS SO MUCH. AHHH. She's never leaving my team and I basically feel helpless if she's not on the team. Although I main her she works as hybrid so I never even have to use anyone onnthe team in Open World. I love her so so much.

Just got her c1 from standard banner and from losing 50/50 on ayaka banner. She's really good and do well healing my party. thanks to her that I will never rely on food anymore. She's perfectly doing fine alongside my yanfei and ayaka
I got Jean miraculously after getting Eula and I must say, I like her more. Is thanks to her that I finally could clear flour 11 (with 9 stars! I couldn't even end the fucking thing before) and even clear floor 12 with 5 stars. I still like Eula, but her ult is horrible, it only works against bosses. But jean is perfect for every ocation, and with Bennett... godly combo.

Can be a way better dps than Most 4stars and 5star, His constellation is super ez to get. Ez burst gain 15sec cd with 12sec duration.
I benched Jean during my early days playing genshin. Then when one day YT suggested me Jean video, i tend to try playing her. And now, she is one of my favorite support character. And she already at C2. The 1st time i got her was in standard banner, then when I lose 50/50, and standard banner again. Love her!
Same, I benched mine up to AR45 and just decided to use her. I regretted benching her for so long as she was a whole game changer. No doubt in my mind that I was getting her all 3 crowns, constellations, and a 5 star sword.
Today my Jean is C3, lvl.90, 10/10/13, full physical build on 2pc PF/2 pc BS, and I just got Primordial Jade Cutter to drop today. Also invested into her swimsuit but shame on Mihoyo not making it flashier with effects and new lines.
Love her to death but now I have to rebuild her artifacts due to new sword.

First i got aquila favonia from aquiant fates. I was like oh damn nice weapon. I checked who works well with it and it was Jean. I wanted to get her as soon as possible. I got another golden character but it was diluc. Even tho I wanted him i wasn't too happy. Later on i tried wishing for kokomi. I saw that golden falling star and i thought "oh nice i got kokomi". And i actually lost that 50/50 to get Jean. I was actually a lot happier when that happened because i never planned to use kokomi anyway 😆
Now i use her as my main DPS, i still need to get a better team for her tho, because Mona Diona and yanfei don't seem to be that good. Maybe Diona is fine idk 🤔
I should add raiden shogun to that team because i like the electro attack buff
