You can double the fall damage by floating them first, then aim at the ground, hold E, slam them to the ground then toss them up and make them take fall damage again

So, a few things. 1. Breaking shields doesnt have a cooldown, some characters have an internal cooldown for their elemental application, but the "sunfire" (Jean Bennett) doesn't have ICD 2. Certain stat boosts don't apply on the stat page unless your character is in the party (like the 1.2% atk boost from Jade Cutter, or Raiden's electro dmg% from ER), so it's best to have characters in the party to know their actual attack
My Jean had been my sole healer “cleanup support” since I got her day one as my first 5-star pull. I’ve used all the other healers, but Jean just hits so hard when she takes the field. Her burst damage shreds (especially with the constellation) and she can hold her own and interrupt heavy enemy attacks if your team had been overwhelmed to the point of NEEDING her to heal everybody. All in all, she was my first God Mode character and has existed in every team I’ve ever come up with. When she finally got her Viridescent kit, she became irreplaceable.

The way fall damage works is that the longer they fall the higher the damage Also the faster they fall also increases the damage, if you throw them in the air and then use sucrose skill to pull them back downit will deal more damage
I never thought about that... Two healers, and one even buffs the other's heals, that's crazy. In a typical sunfire, that's ON TOP of Xinqiu's dmg reduction, interrupt resist and minor heals... If you have Raiden, she also gets 100% interrupt resist during burst, which really helps not getting knocked out the circles too. That's... Pretty tanky. I hope to see the game eventually shift to more of a balance between requiring offense and defense, just dodging being an option but eating quite some of your dps uptime, instead of enemies dodging YOU eating your dps, this team could be amazing then, especially if they keep countering shields more.
Yup, it's pretty nasty combo. The only thing I don't like about it is overloaded with Raiden. Good only against boss enemies. The small ones that didn't get obliterated get lunched in every direction. Wastes a lot of stamina trying to get every one of them.
Wait why does it work with ayaka? Does it mean her Q has no icd on cryo application and with the pyro application from the swirl(which i assume does not have icd according to another comment) it melts more hits?
@@galahadgalaaz2568 Correct, her Q swirls have no ICD which makes Sunfire really good for pyro reactions. I used Ganyu in this combo for some time and it's very good. Another plus is that with Jean and Benny together do so much healing HP is never a concern.
The Fall dmg thing you heard is when you use her charged atk and then Quick after use her e pointed to the Ground. Then She will pull the hilichurl Down from the Air fast with her skill. Because when the hilichurl is going faster to the Ground it does massive Fall dmg
11:42 This big boost in attack comes from the jade cutter's passive, for some reason that passive doesn't activate unless the character is in your team, when you were building her and saw that 1.8k attack, it was without the passive because she wasn't on your team, and the 2.4k was with the passive activated (plus pyro resonance, of course)
as a jean main im glad people are starting to realise shes literally amazing, can heal, do big dmg, carry vv, cc, etc. i find it really easy to charge atk, drag enemies from the air to the ground w her E for fall dmg, and then yeet them into the air from big pop of E dmg and the huge fall damage. really good for those small enemies with higher hp like those pesky cicin mages/whopper flowers that cant stop teleporting everywhere. really like her passive that helps with her need for energy recharge too! amazing vid, thanks moga :D
The reason sometimes you get more fall damage is because fall damage also scales on falling speed, sometimes it's 30k+ for slow falls and 40k+ for fast falls. Hopefully this helps :)
if u use her charged attack and then use her e when their in the air and look down immediately they will also take fall damage and in the abbys the enemies go higher up so they take even more damage from that
When you build mona, I recommend doing burst support mona! She shines best in freeze and vaporize teams, so use Emblem for Freeze and HoD or Emblem for vape!
the shield break thing is secondary. the best thing about sunfire (bennett/jean) is that driving with raiden while xingqiu burst is active creates electro-charged which keeps both hydro and electro status effects active and they react with swirled pyro to create vaporize and overload every time you hit with raiden. same concept as sukokomon but about 10 times easier to pull off.
A good team comp is Jean, Xingqiu/Bennett, Venti and Klee. I used on floor 12 and was amazing. Also, Festering Desire is a GREAT weap choice since u can neglect ER sands and still have a crazy amount of ER while dealing more dmg on the E Jean is a great sup, holp you start using her more often!
The most use I had from fall damage was with Fatui Agents, the Pyro ones, and the Mirror Maiden. 64.000+ fall damage, it depends on their maximum HP, the heigh of the fall and the speed. It's not efficient if you have loads of damage but specially when you're just starting on Abyss Jean gives safety and nice burst damage + Viridecent set.
Fun fact- when you toss enemies in air and then a sucrose e right before the enemy hits ground (right underneath) it makes them fall super quickly increasing the fall damage by quite a lot.
My first lost 50/50 was to Jean. I was actually happy it was her, I wanted her the most. Also when I was farming for EM VV set I got so good VV sets with many crit value. And my best goblet for now is Anemo. It's 43 cv, while others are 30 at best. I even crafted Amenoma for her. I am not a Kazuha owner (yet), didn't get Venti either, so Sucrose and Jean are my life savers. Jean is beautiful, she has big scalings on her kit, her healing is for all team members to full health in one press of a button, no need to wait or stand somewhere, she can do sunfire, she can yeet enemies, what's not to love about her? Mine is currently lvl 85 with 4/8/8 c0, I want her constellations (and hers only), maybe going to crown her skills at some point and lvl 90. I also like her idle animation with dandellion. It's so beautiful.
My very first 5*, I'm thankful it was her cause she was super fun and interesting to rely on, my account also lacked Bennett for the longest time and she filled a similar role. And much like Fus Ro Dah, yeet = fun, and can actually be useful when there's that one enemy avoiding your AoE blender. I also expect her to become super popular in co-op raids, if we get those, holding her E costs dps in solo but not significant in co-op, buffing, healing and grouping + some of her other utility and decent dps makes her a top-tier co-op pick imo, consolidate as much into one slot so you can use 3 dps that get a lot of value out of being on-field.
Back in i think 1.3-1.6 abyss and prob. still in domains we would hit the enemies against the wall with Jean's E for collision damage and then fling them up for fall damage, sometimes it could reach 100k in damage
Jean is one of my favorites characters, once I did 90k with her fall damage it was just so fun, such an amazing healer who can also be fun to play and deal a whole lotta damage.
What I enjoy about Jean is that her healing scales with ATK so you can build her as a sub DPS and she ll still heal a bunch. She also get better with constellations as her c2 gives atk speed and c4 is the anemo res shred. She is a versatile support and healer with respectable damage outsput and can be the holder of VV or Noblesse set + with Fave she is a great battery. She was my first 5* and I am yet to run an abyss without her as once she is built properly she can really fit anywhere and provide value. I am AR57 and due to me losing all 50/50s to Jean i have C4 and she is serving my Xiao very well.
imo one of your best god modes, great vid moga also quickly wanted to say shes great for abyss lector shield with bennet bc her ult swirls the pyro repeatedly fastly which bypasses internal cool down, not all characters can do this hence why they can only decrease lector shield periodically. sunfire jean might be worth its own video since there are many different interesting team comps that can use it since she applies pyro so fast even childe can vape his normals and raiden can overload her burst attacks
OK, so sunfire Jean (aka Jean + bennet burst) doesn't go well with Hu Tao, basically this combo applies a lot of pyro so they steal Tao's vapes. But they can replace Xianling in, say a melt Ganyu team. In such a team Jean can not only apply pyro fast enough for Ganyu to melt, but also have full VV and swirl cryo with e for more buffing. I would also recommend building em on her, since she isn't going to be he main source of healing in this team anyway :)
Did you get the achievement of claiming 800 rewards from the leylines? Because if not, you should NOT be using condensed resin on them! That only counts as 1 leyline!

I think suspending larger opponents into the air with Jean you would just have to reduce their HP a bit first before it works. Think of it like you going into a fight with someone and some of your attacks working after you tire out your opponent.
Fall damage is off of how fast they fall so if you charge attack with Jean and use her e to drag them down to the ground and they will take more fall damage
great video ! you can also consider using her with raiden shogun ,water dude,and benny . its a very strong and fun team so you might find it interesting.
I have crowned Jean, planning on triple crowning her. She is excellent with Xiao, battering him easily with her E. Her basic attacks at L90 T10 with a Prototype weapon at R3 L90 is 6-8k per hit at C0. That's with Zongli shield up.
2:00 and I'm already annoyed by the fact that he said Jean can do some damage with Physical build. My Support Jean with 200 ER and Skyward blade - Does 20k on Elemental Does 27k on burst. Talent - 7,8,8
I have her as main DPS since I got Aquila Favonia and she was the best candidate for it. I have her on Shimenawa Artifs since her Burst also heals her mana and low cd skill gives so many orbs. She's doing 30k charge attacks and between 11-15k normals with superconduct. Very good damage with amazing sustain of both mana and hp.
Something I found a while ago with Jean was that if you charge attack the enemies and then use your elemental skill to bring them back down to the ground they'll take damage
My favorite jean playstyle is bombardier jean. When you run her with klee and/or aloy you can throw their bombs in a cluster at enemies. Jean works as split dps with klee most in this situation
for the fall dmg, jean can use her charge atk to lift the enemies and use her e to pull them down really quickly so they take fall dmg, its pretty insane
Jean is really fun with Klee, you can suck up a group of enemies and all of Klee's bombs and it just makes one massive explosion and fall damage finishes them off if need be
A weapon with energy recharge is better on her because she's a healer and you want to spam her healing burst. 105% energy recharge is too low Also I think attack sand is better on her because her healing scales with attack
Gene is one of the most fun evil characters out there. i have drowned close to +10k mobs now only one more thing more fun ? shoot them off a cliff. She is great in removing a status from your character . and for beginners she us a great healer and sub dps .
My first 5* and to this day one of my favorites as well. She carried me in the Abyss back when I didn't have my current main squads built up, that massive fall damage was a huge help against Fatui agents. Nowadays she's still on my freeze squad since Kazuha refuses to return... Gotta say though, neglecting ER because you're so much of a crit gemlin is starting to become a bit of a comedy act in a lot of your showcases.

I always bring my crowned jean (burst) to domain with atk/atk/heal.bonus artifact. Arfifact set bonus is 15% atk and 20% healing bonus. Weapon amenoma kageuchi. My jean fully heal everyone even 50k hp zhongli. It is satisfying lol
I remember early in the game when she was my only 5-star and main carry, I used to abuse the fall damage thing real hard with her, especially against ninjas and cicin mages, who on floor 12 due to their insanely high health pool you can deal up to 100k fall damage hits easy. I'm still using her to this day as a burst support and battery for Xiao and she's just as useful as she ever was. No other character besides Benny has as much utility as she can offer and I love her for it.
I want to have Jean, I'm jealous to my sister's acount 'cause she has the most characters that I want to have such are Diluc, Jean, Child, Wanderer but atleast I have Nahida, Keqing, Hu Tao, Mona. We have some similar of characters like Qiqi, and Zhonli😅😁
u spelt summary wrong moga !!!!! she is also really good at cleansing during her burst. it will affect you with anemo making all debuffs dissapear. another thing to touch on is that her healing is VERY good considering she has a support/dps build. her skill scaling is more than like 400x just at level 6. level 13 is 620x. and her charged attacks do big pp dmg. she is a very solid character.
Jean may not add as much as Bennet or Kazuha, but she does a bit of both, if you are playing an electro comp you can do Jean + Sara and leave Kazuha + Bennet for the second team for abyss, you'll retain a similar or better ATK buff for electro characters (granted you have C6 Sara) and RES shred from VV, plus a better Heal when it comes to counter bleeding. I've done some testings comparing Raiden + Kazuha + Bennet + Yae Miko to Raiden + Jean + Sara + Yae, the damage output was pretty close, altho Kazuha himself does group enemies and does more damage overall, and adds a bit more dmg than Jean, but the damage diff is compensated with Sara being better on buffing electro. Sayu is a great alternative to Jean, I guess a C6 Sayu is better than a C0 Jean, but at this point old players may have a C0 or more Jean, while having no C6 Sayu, C6 4* are quite hard to get, specially when you want them lol
You can double fall DMG when doing charge ATK first to lift the opponent and point hold E to the ground, that'll do the initial fall DMG then point up right away to yeeet em up 👍 Also, the reason you can't yeet enemies sometimes is because enemies sometime have yeet immunity when they're doing their ATK patterns like Samurais doing the sheathing-unsheathing ATK... Also yah can only yeet enemies that are at least 20lvl difference but that wasn't the issue obviously... As for the swirling benny burst you can search "Sunfire" team, many made videos about that 👍 Good day Moga :)
I personally use Jean in my Ayato, Zhongli, Yunjin comp. She's not even built (1/4/5 talents lol) but she actually does pretty good E dmg and heals, cant imagine how good she will be when i actally build her lol.
Moga there isnt a cooldown. Its ICD again thats why benny or hu tao can shred a electro shield faster than someone like yoimiya because they dont have ICD. Also yeah VV doesnt work off-field, the buff last only 10 seconds unless you swap back to Jean.
So about that Electro lecter shields, they don't have a cooldown on how fast they get depleted, the characters attacking that shield have an internal cooldown (icd) on how fast they can apply an element. The icd in most cases is either 2.5 seconds or 3 hits. There are some exceptions to this though, like Hu Tao's charged attack or Xiangling's ult. Similarly, swirl does not have an icd so it can apply the pyro from Bennett's ult quickly without any problem
A bit late, but using sunfire (jean n benny) allegedly applies 2 units of pyro per sec, so its veeery good for forward vapes, especially someone like ayato or dps mona who can deal pretty decent dmg per hit. Alternatively, ayaka could also do reverse melt with her burst, but I’ve heard some people saying that it applies cryo way too fast (I dont have her so I cant check)
You forgot to do the funniest thing, when small/human mobs are suspended in air from CA, and you press your E on them, they will horizontally slide like 10m in a straight line. Usable for drowning for example
I don't know how much Genshin content you watch, but if you haven't seen Tuonto's Jean, I highly recommend. I mean, she's C6, and he's been working on her for more than a year, but I think it's still worth watching.
I raised my unused character to lv 70/80 only because there is no incentive to upgrade them to 80/90. I wish hoyoverse can just add blue fates everytime we ascend characters, not every 1st 3rd and 5th only
Shield depletion does NOT have cooldown, YOUR abilities have cooldown , depending on the character you're using and their abilities they will apply its element slower or faster according to their respective cooldowns.
Also for the fall damage thing you did wrong. You charged attack them, point your cursor down while using E (so they take some fall damage during your E), then you shoot them up and they take fall damage when they fall back down.
The trick on Jeans fall damage its to use charge attack to put them in the air, then use and hold E to drag them inmediately the ground and finally while still holding them with E throw them as high as you can. The result is double fall damage. Extremely efective against Cicins, Mirror Maiden, Agents and flowers. The charge attack does work against the big Hilichurls but you must do 3 autos to make them off balance and then a charged to make them air borne, in rare cases it also works with Lawachurls but most of the time you interrupt them. The fire cape Jean its the most effective way to break non-pyro shields. You ult first with Bennet to boost Jean and then ult with Jean for tons of damage and constant swirls.
Hi Moga. There are a a couple fun techniques you didnt try that really help her shine. A: You can actually point your E downward after a charge attack to inflict fall damage, then move it up to launch upward for a second instance of fall damage. B: Try using Sucrose for a funny interaction. You can launch them up and use Sucrose E to pull them down fast for larger fall damage.
Physical Jean 2 pale flame and 2 blood stained with Aquila no buffs and it rivals my Eula with buffs requires unique playstyle but definitely manageable

When you build mona, I recommend doing burst support mona! She shines best in freeze and vaporize teams, so use Emblem for Freeze and HoD or Emblem for vape!
the shield break thing is secondary. the best thing about sunfire (bennett/jean) is that driving with raiden while xingqiu burst is active creates electro-charged which keeps both hydro and electro status effects active and they react with swirled pyro to create vaporize and overload every time you hit with raiden. same concept as sukokomon but about 10 times easier to pull off.
11:43 this may also have to do with the Jadecutter passive, since that only procs when she’s in the active party
A good team comp is Jean, Xingqiu/Bennett, Venti and Klee. I used on floor 12 and was amazing. Also, Festering Desire is a GREAT weap choice since u can neglect ER sands and still have a crazy amount of ER while dealing more dmg on the E

The most use I had from fall damage was with Fatui Agents, the Pyro ones, and the Mirror Maiden. 64.000+ fall damage, it depends on their maximum HP, the heigh of the fall and the speed. It's not efficient if you have loads of damage but specially when you're just starting on Abyss Jean gives safety and nice burst damage + Viridecent set.
Jean is something you shoulda have at God mode (atleast at your level) as soon as you get her

Fun fact- when you toss enemies in air and then a sucrose e right before the enemy hits ground (right underneath) it makes them fall super quickly increasing the fall damage by quite a lot.
My first lost 50/50 was to Jean. I was actually happy it was her, I wanted her the most. Also when I was farming for EM VV set I got so good VV sets with many crit value. And my best goblet for now is Anemo. It's 43 cv, while others are 30 at best. I even crafted Amenoma for her. I am not a Kazuha owner (yet), didn't get Venti either, so Sucrose and Jean are my life savers. Jean is beautiful, she has big scalings on her kit, her healing is for all team members to full health in one press of a button, no need to wait or stand somewhere, she can do sunfire, she can yeet enemies, what's not to love about her? Mine is currently lvl 85 with 4/8/8 c0, I want her constellations (and hers only), maybe going to crown her skills at some point and lvl 90. I also like her idle animation with dandellion. It's so beautiful.
My very first 5*, I'm thankful it was her cause she was super fun and interesting to rely on, my account also lacked Bennett for the longest time and she filled a similar role.
And much like Fus Ro Dah, yeet = fun, and can actually be useful when there's that one enemy avoiding your AoE blender.
I also expect her to become super popular in co-op raids, if we get those, holding her E costs dps in solo but not significant in co-op, buffing, healing and grouping + some of her other utility and decent dps makes her a top-tier co-op pick imo, consolidate as much into one slot so you can use 3 dps that get a lot of value out of being on-field.
Back in i think 1.3-1.6 abyss and prob. still in domains we would hit the enemies against the wall with Jean's E for collision damage and then fling them up for fall damage, sometimes it could reach 100k in damage

Jean is one of my favorites characters, once I did 90k with her fall damage it was just so fun, such an amazing healer who can also be fun to play and deal a whole lotta damage.
What I enjoy about Jean is that her healing scales with ATK so you can build her as a sub DPS and she ll still heal a bunch. She also get better with constellations as her c2 gives atk speed and c4 is the anemo res shred. She is a versatile support and healer with respectable damage outsput and can be the holder of VV or Noblesse set + with Fave she is a great battery. She was my first 5* and I am yet to run an abyss without her as once she is built properly she can really fit anywhere and provide value. I am AR57 and due to me losing all 50/50s to Jean i have C4 and she is serving my Xiao very well.

also quickly wanted to say shes great for abyss lector shield with bennet bc her ult swirls the pyro repeatedly fastly which bypasses internal cool down, not all characters can do this hence why they can only decrease lector shield periodically. sunfire jean might be worth its own video since there are many different interesting team comps that can use it since she applies pyro so fast even childe can vape his normals and raiden can overload her burst attacks
OK, so sunfire Jean (aka Jean + bennet burst) doesn't go well with Hu Tao, basically this combo applies a lot of pyro so they steal Tao's vapes. But they can replace Xianling in, say a melt Ganyu team. In such a team Jean can not only apply pyro fast enough for Ganyu to melt, but also have full VV and swirl cryo with e for more buffing. I would also recommend building em on her, since she isn't going to be he main source of healing in this team anyway :)
I also have C1 Jean and I usually use her with sunfire teams, particularly, Raiden Sunfire (Raiden, Jean, Benny, Xingqiu).
Jean can do a lot of fall damage in anemo and maiden artifact set domain I got like 45k with it with just lvl 70 and physical dmg bonus sword
Did you get the achievement of claiming 800 rewards from the leylines? Because if not, you should NOT be using condensed resin on them! That only counts as 1 leyline!

I think suspending larger opponents into the air with Jean you would just have to reduce their HP a bit first before it works. Think of it like you going into a fight with someone and some of your attacks working after you tire out your opponent.
Fall damage is off of how fast they fall so if you charge attack with Jean and use her e to drag them down to the ground and they will take more fall damage
I've been using Jean in Sunfire, with Ayato for constant vaporise. You should also try it, Moga

Jean's charge attack can knock Lawachurls onto their backs, which is great in places like Spiral Abyss and Peak of Vindagnyr.

I have crowned Jean, planning on triple crowning her. She is excellent with Xiao, battering him easily with her E. Her basic attacks at L90 T10 with a Prototype weapon at R3 L90 is 6-8k per hit at C0. That's with Zongli shield up.

I have her as main DPS since I got Aquila Favonia and she was the best candidate for it. I have her on Shimenawa Artifs since her Burst also heals her mana and low cd skill gives so many orbs. She's doing 30k charge attacks and between 11-15k normals with superconduct. Very good damage with amazing sustain of both mana and hp.
Something I found a while ago with Jean was that if you charge attack the enemies and then use your elemental skill to bring them back down to the ground they'll take damage

My favorite jean playstyle is bombardier jean. When you run her with klee and/or aloy you can throw their bombs in a cluster at enemies. Jean works as split dps with klee most in this situation

for the fall dmg, jean can use her charge atk to lift the enemies and use her e to pull them down really quickly so they take fall dmg, its pretty insane
Jean is really fun with Klee, you can suck up a group of enemies and all of Klee's bombs and it just makes one massive explosion and fall damage finishes them off if need be

A weapon with energy recharge is better on her because she's a healer and you want to spam her healing burst. 105% energy recharge is too low
Also I think attack sand is better on her because her healing scales with attack

Gene is one of the most fun evil characters out there. i have drowned close to +10k mobs now only one more thing more fun ? shoot them off a cliff. She is great in removing a status from your character . and for beginners she us a great healer and sub dps .
Jean is hands down one of the best 5 stars in the game, I can't believe how many ppl sleep on her.
My first 5* and to this day one of my favorites as well. She carried me in the Abyss back when I didn't have my current main squads built up, that massive fall damage was a huge help against Fatui agents. Nowadays she's still on my freeze squad since Kazuha refuses to return...
Gotta say though, neglecting ER because you're so much of a crit gemlin is starting to become a bit of a comedy act in a lot of your showcases.

I always bring my crowned jean (burst) to domain with atk/atk/heal.bonus artifact. Arfifact set bonus is 15% atk and 20% healing bonus. Weapon amenoma kageuchi. My jean fully heal everyone even 50k hp zhongli. It is satisfying lol

I remember early in the game when she was my only 5-star and main carry, I used to abuse the fall damage thing real hard with her, especially against ninjas and cicin mages, who on floor 12 due to their insanely high health pool you can deal up to 100k fall damage hits easy.
I'm still using her to this day as a burst support and battery for Xiao and she's just as useful as she ever was. No other character besides Benny has as much utility as she can offer and I love her for it.
I want to have Jean, I'm jealous to my sister's acount 'cause she has the most characters that I want to have such are Diluc, Jean, Child, Wanderer but atleast I have Nahida, Keqing, Hu Tao, Mona. We have some similar of characters like Qiqi, and Zhonli😅😁
hi so i have C2 Jean and for the attack speed, you can barely notice it 80% of the time
u spelt summary wrong moga !!!!! she is also really good at cleansing during her burst. it will affect you with anemo making all debuffs dissapear. another thing to touch on is that her healing is VERY good considering she has a support/dps build. her skill scaling is more than like 400x just at level 6. level 13 is 620x. and her charged attacks do big pp dmg. she is a very solid character.
Jean may not add as much as Bennet or Kazuha, but she does a bit of both, if you are playing an electro comp you can do Jean + Sara and leave Kazuha + Bennet for the second team for abyss, you'll retain a similar or better ATK buff for electro characters (granted you have C6 Sara) and RES shred from VV, plus a better Heal when it comes to counter bleeding.
I've done some testings comparing Raiden + Kazuha + Bennet + Yae Miko to Raiden + Jean + Sara + Yae, the damage output was pretty close, altho Kazuha himself does group enemies and does more damage overall, and adds a bit more dmg than Jean, but the damage diff is compensated with Sara being better on buffing electro.
Sayu is a great alternative to Jean, I guess a C6 Sayu is better than a C0 Jean, but at this point old players may have a C0 or more Jean, while having no C6 Sayu, C6 4* are quite hard to get, specially when you want them lol
You can double fall DMG when doing charge ATK first to lift the opponent and point hold E to the ground, that'll do the initial fall DMG then point up right away to yeeet em up 👍 Also, the reason you can't yeet enemies sometimes is because enemies sometime have yeet immunity when they're doing their ATK patterns like Samurais doing the sheathing-unsheathing ATK... Also yah can only yeet enemies that are at least 20lvl difference but that wasn't the issue obviously... As for the swirling benny burst you can search "Sunfire" team, many made videos about that 👍 Good day Moga :)
I personally use Jean in my Ayato, Zhongli, Yunjin comp. She's not even built (1/4/5 talents lol) but she actually does pretty good E dmg and heals, cant imagine how good she will be when i actally build her lol.

Its ICD again thats why benny or hu tao can shred a electro shield faster than someone like yoimiya because they dont have ICD.
Also yeah VV doesnt work off-field, the buff last only 10 seconds unless you swap back to Jean.
So about that Electro lecter shields, they don't have a cooldown on how fast they get depleted, the characters attacking that shield have an internal cooldown (icd) on how fast they can apply an element. The icd in most cases is either 2.5 seconds or 3 hits. There are some exceptions to this though, like Hu Tao's charged attack or Xiangling's ult. Similarly, swirl does not have an icd so it can apply the pyro from Bennett's ult quickly without any problem

A bit late, but using sunfire (jean n benny) allegedly applies 2 units of pyro per sec, so its veeery good for forward vapes, especially someone like ayato or dps mona who can deal pretty decent dmg per hit. Alternatively, ayaka could also do reverse melt with her burst, but I’ve heard some people saying that it applies cryo way too fast (I dont have her so I cant check)
You forgot to do the funniest thing, when small/human mobs are suspended in air from CA, and you press your E on them, they will horizontally slide like 10m in a straight line. Usable for drowning for example
I don't know how much Genshin content you watch, but if you haven't seen Tuonto's Jean, I highly recommend. I mean, she's C6, and he's been working on her for more than a year, but I think it's still worth watching.
For some reason I always get 20k+ fall damage...maybe because I used 2pc pale flame, 2pc bloodstained, and have a physical bonus sword
I raised my unused character to lv 70/80 only because there is no incentive to upgrade them to 80/90. I wish hoyoverse can just add blue fates everytime we ascend characters, not every 1st 3rd and 5th only
Shield depletion does NOT have cooldown, YOUR abilities have cooldown , depending on the character you're using and their abilities they will apply its element slower or faster according to their respective cooldowns.
Also for the fall damage thing you did wrong. You charged attack them, point your cursor down while using E (so they take some fall damage during your E), then you shoot them up and they take fall damage when they fall back down.

The trick on Jeans fall damage its to use charge attack to put them in the air, then use and hold E to drag them inmediately the ground and finally while still holding them with E throw them as high as you can. The result is double fall damage. Extremely efective against Cicins, Mirror Maiden, Agents and flowers. The charge attack does work against the big Hilichurls but you must do 3 autos to make them off balance and then a charged to make them air borne, in rare cases it also works with Lawachurls but most of the time you interrupt them. The fire cape Jean its the most effective way to break non-pyro shields. You ult first with Bennet to boost Jean and then ult with Jean for tons of damage and constant swirls.
Hi Moga. There are a a couple fun techniques you didnt try that really help her shine. A: You can actually point your E downward after a charge attack to inflict fall damage, then move it up to launch upward for a second instance of fall damage. B: Try using Sucrose for a funny interaction. You can launch them up and use Sucrose E to pull them down fast for larger fall damage.
