Would love to see a video on the things you were talking about when recording on the stream- how you know what islands spawn how many crystal spots, how to differentiate between daily crystal spawns and the 3day gap ones, etc.

By the time Snezhnaya comes out this man will be farming for 10 hours a day.
But you don't need to do all that. Just so dailies, resin and farm the crystal. And i just kill all the the monsters in the way. And that is enough. I farm the flower or plants only when i want to level up a character and i do for time to time events and quest. And still have enough mats and play like 1 hour or two

Just farm for things when you need them. Resin is the gate so theres no point in doing all this other stuff.

Same, artifact farming takes forever and is not necessary.
I log in, do dailies, use up my resin and log out. Total play time is around 15 mins a day.
Content creators will obviously try to maximize their Genshin play time, but that's literally how they make money.
With a 9to5 job and other responsibilities, my time is too precious to be wasting on farming for a f2p gacha game lol

Well I do every essentials that Envi had listed except the random event 10 times (my potato phone can't handle it) and crystal farming, that's it. It takes like an hour and half I think, and maybe if you have enough time farming artifacts or some local specialties/enemies drops that I need at the moment (for example handguards and amakumo fruits for Raiden)

My brain- Ignore it
Me again: Well you never know when it comes in handy *runs back to pick it up*

funny thing because all the flowers that i pick up i actually need later for example i was just collecting sweet flowers and then later realised i needed it for sweet madames, also i did a flower quest and i could do it instantly because of all the flowers i collected before was those i needed

For those farming level 10 friendships, I recommend creating a team you want to get level 10 friendships and do daily commission or domains with them.
Plus slapping them in the Serenitea Pot helps. I have a few teams put together so I can get friendship as quick as possible.
Leveling that up takes alot.. my highest is lv3😭😭

Pretty much what I did at the beginning when I had semi built characters who were friendship farming (Worked until I had around 6-8 more characters left since I’m now at 28) also bosses do tend to give more Friendship Exp although I believe its around a 5 increase. Still farming for some characters can work towards the end in grinding Namecards

Idk man, I was farming crystals all the time for a couple of weeks, and it turned into such a job. Then I decided to allow myself to take a break from it, and playing the game became much more fun and enjoyable instantly when I could just go do fun things instead of teleporting to fixed locations, fight off the same nearby mobs, mine crystals, rinse and repeat. I accepted that it’s not my way of playing.
@Sukuna Archon I mean, the advice in the vid works as in it really will give you a lot of ores, but personally for me the end does not justify the means here. Depends on the person though. Some people are perfectionists and sleep better at night knowing they did all activities on a checklist.

Yeah, some people prefer to checklist their time and play to max their materials. And some people just prefer to chill, wander around, and do whatever they find.
I, for one, like to teleport to a random waypoint and just start.. walking around. I can spend hours just walking around, exploring, opening random chests, guiding Seelie, etc. I don’t even have to be hunting for something. I just explore. And I find way more places and things doing that than I would have if I were looking for something
@@starlightmoone I know the feeling! Doing this occassionally too. I value a good landscape, and Genshin has great atmospheric lighting and creatively designed environments. Could wonder about for hours. I really wish there was some sort of zen mode to the game, when the enemies don't get auto-aggro'ed at your approach. I opened a chest in Liyue yesterday which was sitting in plain sight, but I avoided that place for months because it has a vishap and I'm never in the mood for unnecessary fights while on a stroll.
I really like that the current event takes us to places and encourages exploring around, that's the most fun part of the game for me.
There are folks who dislike exploration though, must be tough for them.

A mode like that would be really nice. It would also make for some really amazing pictures, which is also something I occasionally like to do while exploring if I see a pretty landscape or sunset(Inazuman sunsets are absolutely gorgeous).
Yeah, that’s something I’m really happy for about, along with the clue system making it so that if I’m stuck, I can explore another place and return the next day with some help to find what I looked past.

I don't even farm crystals unless I really need them immediately for a weapon or something, I usually just send my characters on expeditions and I get more than 10 crystals per day just from that which is usually enough. Instead of farming for everything you can usually just buy them or send your characters on expeditions or grow it in your own teapot. If you want junk artifacts to upgrade your good artifacts you can buy several from each city across the map. Need meat or food that can heal you without having to farm for them all the time? Send your characters on expeditions and you can buy them too in mondstadt, liyue and inazuma too I think. You can grow certain things in your teapot, buy mora. exp wits, artifact exp thing to level up your artifacts without having to farm artifacts and even weapon enhancement crystals. To shorten farming time I'll just condense my resin for things I really need immediately.
Man, I always do my dialies and resin stuff in about 20 minutes and the spend the next 2 hours running arround killing random slimes and churls, picking flowers, fishing, gliding and taking screenshots just because it's so fun.
Half of my friends spend a lot of time being angry at the game because they want to min-max and copy every whale streamer's build they see on youtube and I'm just here big chillin'

They are right being angry on the game...They could make the game so much more fun and meaningfull...But right now the grinders the only thing that can do is farm item routes and stones...And its not even worth..Pathetic..Sadly the game does not need more than 20 mins per day, after you finish content.

Correction: Condensed Resin doesn’t necessarily multiply the item drop by 2, but drops items equivalent to 2 runs of the leyline/domain.
Thus, if you got bad luck drop on condense resin, you got bad luck x2 lol. I always find my drop on condensed resin so bad (like, for talent books, I got 4 grey + 4 brown books). However, my normal resin can sometimes drop more than condensed one (eg: 1 gold, 2 grey, 2 brown). So I rarely convert the resin and just spend the normal one unless I play for quick session.
Edit: sorry my bad. Been using condense a lot recently and the drop rate actually run twice if you use condense. So my previous statement is incorrect: your good/bad luck doesn't double, you can get good luck and bad luck at the same time (eg: you can get 1 gold, 5 silver and 5 brown for condense and 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 brown for normal resin)

There was a bug with Aloy that made leveling her up 1 mora, I got her to level 90 with 6 mora :)
I didn't do it on purpose, I only noticed once mihoyo fixed it and I looked up why there was a fix.
@Herrscher I still needed the books, but the bug just made the mora go down to 1 when you leveled them up, you can definitely find a video on it
@Herrscher ok, it's different then just 1 more, it made each XP book only cost 1 mora to use, which still made it insanely cheap
Was it only for people who leveled her up on PS4? I unlocked her on PS4, but then leveled her up on PC. I can't say I noticed it costing less than usual.

Remember guys, ya'll dont need to do this to improve in the game, it maybe be quicker and easier, but I'm AR56, I only do daily resin and daily comissions, I've never had a hard time doing some quest ou something, you may not 9* the abysm but you can do almost everything
But 36* the abyss is the goal for people at such a high level.

it's nice to see that there's a lot more daily stuff you could do, it's just that none of it's TRUELY fruitful from doing it, I just wish mihoyo adds proper endgame content that is infinitely repeatable AND worthwhile doing
It's important to note that Genshin is still a game with only 1/3 of it's total storyline content released, so I think the lack of an endgame may be intentional here.
@@curtiswong7280 maybe, but if they are planning on adding endgame content only after the story is finished, then the playerbase will die off a lot sooner than that at the current rate; all the day 1 veterans are already getting tired, and the longer it takes for them to finish the story and add an endgame, the more newcomers will catch up to the veterans and be in the exact same situation

@@curtiswong7280 if they base the replayability of the game on the current story progress, player retension is going to drop, im a new player and ive talked to some veterans from where i live and a lot of them dont play the game that much or just outright stop because although there are content thats replayable their not that rewarding, and the fun modes that they have are limited time events which just hurts the game even more to them, and i honestly agree with them.
the only thing thats keeping the game from dying are the character releases, and even that prospect is starting to die for me.

If you're F2P or have a lot of time to play Genshin, I do encourage y'all to listen to Envi because the man has spent almost a year refining the art of speeding through Teyvat. Moreover, consider farming Crystalflies too, at least once in a while, because they are necessary for Condensed Resin. I suggest swinging by Dawn Winery, Windrise and Guyun Stone Forest, where the Petra Domain is. If you are also leveling up Ei, Seirai Island is a paradise where you can find quite a few Crystalflies as well!

never had a problem with butterflies. always had 350 or more, and since inazuma came out it's increasing (over 450 already) even though i condense almost all resin.
I rarely using condense resin as one of Achievement need to clear 800 times leyline order.

I personally do commissions with low level characters so i can get that sweet sweet name card and get the characters to friendship level 10.
Same. Of the 31 characters I've collected, only 7 still haven't reached friendship level 10. Doing everything from domains to commissions with 1-2 well built characters and the rest are random.

I do this too, luckily way much faster than bond farming in FGO. Now waiting for mihoyo to add features that lets you extend level caps and friendship for ridiculous grinding and costs.

I recently found out that artifacts sell for quite a lot of Mora despite almost being AR56 lmao.
Never had to sell any before since I always had artifacts to level up but lately I've been accumulating so many of these, between chests and world spawns that I hit the 1k limit.
Since I'm currently focusing on raising talents and levels I don't have many promising artifacts to level up, not to mention I need all the mora for other upgrades so I started selling them.
I'm saying this because with all the artifact spawns in Inazuma (there are A LOT) it's really worth it to go and pick them up, if not for xp then for the mora. Really adds up!
Same wish I did it sooner, everyone always said it wasn't worth destroying them for mora but at some point you'll already have +20 artifacts on all your important characters and having that mora is better than upgrading trash.
Yep, by maximizing the current artifact farming I can get 70k mora daily by selling artifacts. That's not including the gold you get on some artifact spots, so 80k is likely the total mora I get daily. That is nearly 30 resins worth of mora.

IIRC, the total amt you collect in Mond and Liyue can yield 24k ish on trashing per day, with Inazuma that may easily go past 30k+ mora once exploration is done and routes are established. Seems small but that amount can reach close to 1 mill mora per month for those diligent enough to do it.

As an AR57, I don't even have to pinned it on the map. Crab route, crystal core, etc. I already memorized it all.
The artifact grind is not worth if you are a welkin + BP user.
It is hell to keep it up when you are managing 3 accounts. I completely ignore doing any of these stuff in the pure f2p account and try to do at least the daily necessities + artifact & crystal farming route for the other 2 accounts on welkin. It's kind of sad when you have farmed so much you basically know where everything is. I used to reach every single artifact locations on the map, but now I don't have the motivation to go to the ones that are not clustered together and only give 1 or 2 spots. Before Inazuma came out, it is actually a pain to reach the 30 cap for the crystals. You have to actually visit the non-daily locations to keep up. So Inazuma amethysts are a welcoming addition.
@@amyding5282 back when i was pressed for crystals, i just did my world and a friend's world in coop every 3 days. then i expanded my routes and we only did one of our worlds every 3 days, because we ended up with 190 crystals each from just that.
i enjoy randomly running and farming random shit or something i end up needing and then i get carried away with everything shiny and ignore all of the quests
I recommend placing a teleport at the crab island. Ever since I did that I never run out of crabs anymore for adeptus temptation. Also run up the falcon coast every day takes like 1-2min and collect all the crabs with Sayu because she doesn't startles them.

The grind is unreal. If only I was incentivized to grind this much, I'd do it everyday. I respect your effort.
I’m a low spender, so my farming routine is a bit different. Since ganyu rerun is in a month, I need 4.4K more primogems. Here is my farming plan for reference.
-blessing of the welkin moon
-commissions
-spiral abyss (earned about 15 percent of primo income with this)
-character story quests or hangouts (I finished all the story quests already, and they give 60 primogems for finishing)
-archon quests (already finished)
-World quests (Tatara Tales, Lost in the snow, Serai Stormchaser, ect)
This is quick and efficient for me, I already have 10.1k primogems with this method.
Daily routine
#1: Pick some mint and berries
#2: Get pstd after being 1guyd
#3: Be childish
#4: Be cringe
#5: Cry on stream
#6: Play victim

A tip for artefact running: Use Kaeya with 2 anemo chars and rosaria if possible
kaeya is the fastest runner in the game and also uses less stamina. combined with the speedbuff from anemo and rosaria you are usain bolt level of speed
NIce tip, will try! (didn't know what to do with my Rosaria). If I may add, you can even be faster with Sayu as anemo member as she can roll ;P + Xiao to speed up gliding, and there's a lot of gliding when farming free artifacts in Liyue)

@@lucercrd yes you're right! (and Razor decrease stamina for sprinting also). I noticed that there's more gliding than climbing when farming artifacts in Liyue so I didn't thought of Xiao's passive regarding stamina (but it can be useful for Inazuma where there's more climbing)
@@x3unkow There is also a gadget you can earn from inazuma rep that increases gliding speed for a set time after use I'm sure this would help some.
I used to use Sucrose with Twin Neophrite (20% move speed for 15s when you kill something). There's plenty of birds and other animals along the way and her E is really easy to hit on them. But now with Sayu it might not be worth the hassle anymore

I wish my genshin loads the same as his, I kinda get embarrassed when I do coops because it takes around 5 mins to load up and simple teleporting and entering a domain will take 1 minute 😭
For commissions, since they give friendship XP, I try to prioritize using characters that aren't maxed out on friendship yet.
Completely unnecessary but helps unlock voice lines, lore, and profile cards faster if you're a completionist who's into that.
DON'T FORGET in addition to holy water, you can also buy TWO DANGO MILKS for Raiden daily from one of the merchants next to the adventurers guild in Inazuma.
Don't forget the special pizza from that Inazuma shop where you taught then the recipe.

A little tip for those of you who want to spend resin on leylines with little time; I'd recommend converting your resin to condensed resin and then doing mora leylines (that is if you have nothing else to farm). I'm still only world level 6 and by using condensed resin on mora leylines, i get 120,000 more per leyline. So depending on your world level, you can get more or less!! It's pretty nice seeing big numbers of mora too kekeke

I've been grinding so much with my low level gaming skills and characters that the stress makes me grind my teeth at night.
I enjoy farming.. but.. for some reason I can't enjoy exploring the map or opening chests anymore. I used to be so mesmerized and amazed by the beautiful scenery.
But I really enjoy the routine though.
🌸😹It is to be uttered that my free to play routine personally consist of first burning resin followed by daily commissions, and post that i take care world quest I may have before farming the adventure book and signing off.😹🌸

One thing not mentioned in this video that I do is the 6 leylines daily without submitting them (unless needed) for many reasons:
1) Weeklies (20 for BP rewards). They count even if you don't claim the rewards
2) Materials for ascending characters/weapons
3) Materials for parametric transformer
You can do the mobs nearby the leylines as well for some mora and mats too!

I prefer just stopping by and getting any crystals or other materials that are on my way to do commissions. And i choose the second closest teleport point for more materials

Love this video Envi! I used to do all these stuff daily but after a while it gets so tiring and repetitive. My solution was to never let your resin get capped and you'll see how much more resin you can use to farm for those mora.
Very useful.. after watching twitch stream I'm convinced I must do the artifact farm route (but i got many explorations)

@Herrscher those few 1star and 2star may come in handy like adventure exp or traveler's exp when levelling up... + You need not do it.. The max run u do per day is 4 with condensed and u may get like 5 fragile = 300 resins 9 more runs at max... for every bp beriod
This is amazing. Even though I probably won't do much of the non-essentials, it's good to know. I'ma stick to the Gnostic Hymm. Plus, I'm not really massively invested in getting new characters, so that's why I don't farm resources en masse.
yeah, I never really considered farming artifacts or chunks but the chest-found enhancement ores are finally running out, so Ill definitely start doing some of these things. Thanks for the video! It was way more helpful than I thought it would be!

go to the island under the thunder manifestation, there's quite a few flys there, if u miss them then stand on the spot and log out then back in and then they will respawn
envi u can actually farm ores faster even if u don't have razer or zhongli, u got a free beidou from the event r8? u can set the ground on fire stand on it hold beidous E and release, it will destroy every single ore nearby if u place ur beidou on the r8 spot.

Thank you sooo much. I learned a lot as i am new at this game.
I'm currently AR44 with 5K exp to AR45 in less than 2 months.
The need of Mora and Artifacts is really starting to kick in.
In the past I never knew how to even set my stats.
Now I know how
I take a different approach to the daily commissions.
I bring my main DPS (Xiao in my case) and then I bring along three characters I would never otherwise play that aren't really leveled or anything.
Presently for me that's Noelle, Xinyan and Yanfei with this team I knock out the daily commissions.
Before I turn them into the guild I switch Xiao out for another character I never really play/haven't leveled such as Chungyun and THEN I collect from the guild.
Why? Because each of those daily commissions yields around 40 Companionship XP. And when you go back to the guild you're awarded another 95 Companionship xp. This allows you to build up character's friendship that much faster.
I've only been doing this for about a month but so far I have both Amber and Lisa at friendship 10 with Noelle not far behind at all.
The characters I do have leveled are ones I play with for the rest of the content and so will naturally gain friendship xp during their adventures.
While it means things may take a little longer during my daily run it does accelerate my characters friendship levels. Plus I kinda like the challenge of taking everything on with only one character and in the event I lose a lot of health I can always top up at a statue.
Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone else that may want to up their characters friendship level that much faster.

i dont think i'll even be able to remember half the things but this is an awesome video to get back to when i have some extra time to spend on genshin and want to farm some extra things!
The random can also be done, by standing on the Sweet Flower, Just dont collect it, and there you have a spot where u can stand and have the quest
Just a tip, if you can't play for long one day(or are just tired and don't wanna play for long) and you can't spend all your resin on domins or bosses just turn it into condensed resin to use later
for me will be an extra 2-3 hours every 3 day when the fishes respawn. gotta grind for those namecard

that sucks, but let me tell you something: starting a new account is a lot of fun. i was raising one of my slave accounts and i was having actually more fun than in my main account. there's so much "growing" to do, and i was going over quests that i did so long ago, with a new familiarity with the characters, that they felt fresh.
if you like the game to the point of tearing up over it, i'd recommend you to just start over. i promise you'll have a good time.
