I often wondered if my ex narcissist was gay. He was terrible in bed, had zero passion, had ED issues and loved to hear stories about me with other men & liked me to really concentrate on the man in the story. It all makes a lot of sense now. I actually feel a bit sad for him. He will never come out & even voted no for same sex marriage. I don’t think his family would have an issue with him being gay but I do think he hates himself.

I needed this video!! I really do believe my ex narc was bi or gay. When I asked him “what is it, are you gay?” The final discard happened a day later after 6 years of being together. The only reason I asked was because things just didn’t make sense!! There were a lot of red flags, but I was really confused if it was the narcissism or his sexual preference… this was very very informative!! He definitely used me and my kids as a façade. His ego and appearance to others wouldn’t allow him to be publicly gay or bi.

I didn’t know spouse was closeted gay man. Some are secretly gay/bisexual. Gay always wins out.

That explains, or rather validates so much!
Exes were very strange in some small moments.
One even dragged me to a "love" parade, months after I left him, as a friend. (Long before I knew of NPD) 90% of people there were half naked men (very good looking too, but homosexual) dancing in sexualized manner. He took his shirt off at one point and started dancing too.. It was so awkward to witness that.

I would like to disagree on this, even though I have least data to back up my research... One point is for sure... You cannot categorize to specific mid-range as safe or ultra as different... It depends on the intent of a person and it could get dangerous if one is dealing with a sociopathic personality disorder.... It may not necessarily be a narcissist anymore but a sociopath who have the fluidity of manipulations to achieve their goals...
Because I see gay as people with broken ego... Which can mean that may not be narcissist... They are broken from external and not natural born, in my opinion... Or society has made them believe in a certain way... Depends again... There are too many possibilities from person to person...
But if narcissist use: they have reached the next level to a sociopath...

The trio, this video, alongside HG's video 'Is The Narcissist A Sex Chameleon?' and his book, 'Sex and The Narcissist' are all very informative in the manipulations that are used, indicating points where 'The 3 Assertions of Control' may apply. Insightful and educational which gives a different angle to understanding relationships with other people. I think some of this information should be included as part of educating secondary schools to increase awareness of behaviours. Thank you, HG 💕🤍💟
