I just got this car myself. The SR 2024 in Atlantic Blue/Grey and it's the fully featured too no less. So far I've really been enjoying it. Granted my previous car was a 20 year old Accord (a V6 tho), so all the new features feel high tech to me lol. But the ride is very smooth, it reacts fast and the fuel economy is good to (unlike my old car). To anyone thinking about it. Don't feel put off by the "basic/bargain" label for this. Its a really nice car all around that doesn't come off at all like it's cheap or anything negative.
I have this car. I have to say your the first guy to review this car that actually knows about the sport mode button. I had one reviewer tell me the button was for emergency neutral 😂😂
I bought the 24 SV with the all weather package. With 16 inch alloys the ride is great for a cheap car and the fuel mileage is ridiculous...I've seen 48mpg on the highway in ecomode when the trip is done. The cvt and engine are silky smooth and quiet unless you smash the throttle. The cvt can be heard while cruising at 70mph but it's not a whine or high pitched, it kind of matches the road noise. Coming from driving pickups for 2 decades I'm blown away by how luxurious cars feel lol. Even my wife's Rav4 feels and sounds terrible compared to a cheap little Sentra. We've really screwed ourselves by letting sedans die.
Here’s a crazy thought @Nissan: how about throwing in your 1.5 turbo engine and a 6-speed manual in the Sentra and calling it the Sentra SE-R? With 200hp and sport-tuned suspension, it would be a direct competitor to the Civic SI. Here’s another thought: get your 2.0 VC turbo, boost it up to 300hp, add a 6-manual, and slap on as many spoilers as possible, and call it the Sentra Nismo. Now you’ve got a Civic Type-R fighter. They’d be selling like cupcakes… not saying that you need the sales…😉 You’re welcome.
ppl are to picky I have the 2024 Sentra S doesnt have all the bells and whistles but I love it, wld be nice to have heated seats but its ok. great gas miles in the city feels sporty. esp for the price cant beat 25k
@@biobrat86 Just like my 2018 Charger. I hate how it rides with 20inch rims and loved how my 2008 charger drove without the rims. You'll really start feeling the road about a month after driving it. I'm looking for a smooth riding smaller vehicle.
Lane departure is for knucklehead drivers. As a professional Sentra driver, I like the good responsiveness and comfy sport steering wheel. Trunk space is awesome as well. One question though, is this classed as mid-size or compact?
I have the SR and love it, comfortable, quick, and looks great. I can't find any issues. Oh yeah😅 the fuel mileage is great. im averaging 33.6 rural driving.
Actually, a lot of Corolla is new and old where I live. Have a bad rust problem. They rust through so bad and they’re unsafe within like four or five years but I live in the middle of a really salty snowy freezing cold area.
@@Jag-leaper I had two in the past and both rusted out in less than three years. But then again, where I live, that sort of bitch on the car, but Toyota seem to be worse.
No American should buy a Chinese car. China is a predatory and consistently dishonest actor on the world stage, both economically and militarily. They are our enemy. Hard pass.
Love the pigeon walking in front of the vehicle in the beginning of the video
pigeon drive-by
I love nissan sentra i bought it on 2014.. never disappoint me
I love mine,43 miles a gallon highway and plenty of power.

I've had my 2024 sr Sentra, white with black top , for about almost two months. I enjoy it a lot

My son has a 2023 Sentra SR and loves it.
This is a better review than all the other TH-cam Sentra reviews

The 2020-23 model SR came with 18 inch wheels too. You can get a cargo net and bag hooks for the trunk as dealer installed options
Those low profile 18" wheels don't help the ride. The S and SV have 16" and it helps with the ride a surprising amount.
But It looks better on 18
@@DavidHernandez-oz4me You might be right, just remember when you're driving you can't see the wheels...but you'll hear and feel those 18's.

I don’t know why the Sentra hasn’t been available in a higher turbo option like civic, Mazda 3, corolla, etc. Hyundai, etc. Kia forte, etc…lol

My friend, it's not "a bad rap", it's "a bad rep" as in reputation. Other than that, excellent review. Thanks.
What camera are you using 🤩🔥🔥
Why would the transmission shift quicker in Sports Mode? 😅 @10:10
The transmission should be holding certain gears ⚙️
The 'Sports' mode simply keeps the RPM above 2000 at all times....kinda like what's in the Kia Forte's Sport mode.
How does one connect phone for navigation system to come on display
It's mostly wireless but you need a data/power cable for GPS use.
I have a 2023 Versa instead
Good car to lease, not to own in my opinion.
Toyota cars just look ugly
I’d take a civic or mazda3 over this but I would most certainly take it over the corolla
No trust me you would not the corolla is way better...faster handles better and is more comfortable
Actually, a lot of Corolla is new and old where I live. Have a bad rust problem. They rust through so bad and they’re unsafe within like four or five years but I live in the middle of a really salty snowy freezing cold area.
The corolla is ass.
Corolla will outlast them all, reliability wise
Mazda3 please, especially at $25k
Mazda 3 has the WORST infotainment system in the auto industry with that outdated rotary knob, touchscreen needed..........
Yes Mazda is so much better despite the infotainment center not being a touch screen
@@crow_2k11beatsbydre8facts only reason i dislike it
Good rental
Trunks not dead
If I couldn't get a Civic or Mazda3 I'd get a Jetta with the six speed manual over that. If you have to be cheap you might as well have a little fun.
Cvt still is trash bro nissan is the one to make cvt no good
2024 ,no miles on it!!
Dude Looks like you're driving on a old crusty Road no wonder
Corolla every time. Last you 15 years plus easily.
Agreed 👍
My altima has 524,000 km on it… beat that corolla
Corolla just like a lot of other Toyotas it’s just plain boring. I’m sorry.
@@josephmclean515 and that's just plain fine...though I find it curious...so many people who say the corolla is so "boring" have never driven one....

27K for a Sentra ?? rip off. ...China is selling high tech NEVs for 10K
And it comes with a free oz. of fentanyl

This is a boring car good for a young female to commute to work buy a Honda or a Toyota
Exactly my description.
Hey buddy, why don’t you just let people buy what they want, and stick to your own favorite cars
Lol 27 yr old f here! Am I considered "young"? It's all I could afford right now. 😂
