BMW E36 M3 track car build continues with a UUC short shifter upgrade.

Hello Everyone, as before, the work continues on this E36 M3. Here I upgrade the OEM shifter with the UUC short shifter and also replace a few other items while the shifter is out.

shifter carrier filing necessary? the UUC instructions doesn't call for it

@@Bmwstephen On this install I had to. I didn’t wanna cross thread those small screws so that why I did it. And correct, the UUC instructions didn’t call for it. If the screws go in easily (straight), no need to file down the carrier.

The UUC kit, rubber boot, & shifter foam was purchased through ECS Tuning. The weird thing is now it shows “no longer available”. The poly bushing for the oem shifter housing was from Turner.
