One tip: I use it every hour when it's hot. I soak a flannel in cold water then wring it out so it's cool but not wet. Then I brush each cat with it. My cats love it & it helps them keep cool.
I used to have a big ginger cat who loved me running my wet hands from the shower over him. He used to wait for me to finish showering on the Loyd loom washing bin., I really miss that little ritual when I moved and had a walk in shower and not the shower in the bath, he stopped doing it here. Banjo loves being rubbed with a towel when he comes in wet., It helps get the loose fur out too.
I have that exact same brush for my cat. I give her water bowls with ice all over the yard and I wet my hands and pet her so shes wet and the breeze outside cools her off
My cat breathes pretty fast when she sleeps with me in my bed and my room is so so hot all the time. I'm worried that she has a respiratory problem, but couldn't it all be because of the heat? She eats, drinks water etc. She seems like always instead of the fact that she breathes pretty fast

This is really helpful and we freeze treats in water or yogurt for our cats and dogs too (tip)

We’d recommend seeing your vet if you have any concerns about your cats health - best to get it checked out! :)
