hell yeah man, the only thing i will suggest is meguiars back to black for the plastic parts (like the coolant tank and the cold air intake) it really helps make it looks clean and black. just a quick wipe on, let it sit, and wipe off
Great job I clean my Engine the same way and I find Paint brushes work great too if you also spray degreaser directly onto the Brush bristles and work it in speeds things up and plastic wrap also known as cling film in the U.K. to cover electrical connection
Hey bro. Ya know my engine is filthy...nice how to vid. I think i have always stayed away from cleaning the engine cause of paranoia regarding potential water damage issues. What about all the electrical ... wires, connections, etc? Are you just avoiding having the degreaser and soapy water from touching those parts? Do you need to oil down area afterwards as a rust prevention measure? Again, good video!
The wires are already waterproof so light washover them will be fine, just don't drench them like you see in other videos. I detail it by hand and I watch where I spray and clean. Avoid what you think may cause damage and you should be good. There are only few places, but the rest will be fine
Your engine isn't dirty, ONLY dusty. Your recommended wash is 4x a year and your engine still looks good after 6 months. This is like a once a year thing tbh or every two years. Unless you go to car shows every month then detailing it every month is a waste of time.
I have a hood scoop on my S197 and am curious if I can open it up it looks like yours on your Mustang. I have a 2009 Mustang GT premium convertible 4.6l 45th anniversary. I haven’t found one video on hood scoop opening yet. Beautiful car btw 👌🏼
Hey Nate check out a Company called Collinites. I only use their wax. You wont find it in Auto Zone or any auto parts box store. I use the Collinites 845 insulator wax. Professional Detailers use it, great stuff.
Nice Mustang bro, i have a question i bought a led third light, like the one you have, did you make something else to make it work ¿? Because just when i plug it stays on even when you dont press the brake pedal i go back with stock and its ok.
Nate Rider i buy the light in ebay, it looks nice but even if you active the alarm, the light stays on like the stand by function 😔 i will return the part
Can you make a video on your overall ownership? Like MPG's you get, everyday quirks, experiences it's allowed you to have, and maybe stereo sound? I wanna get a mustang and i can't decide on 4.6/5.0.... I love the style of the 4.6. Thanks man!
Pinks Camera if you want a sexy lady that breaks necks and will be a guaranteed classic with a unique engine sound, a lot of comfort and toughness and a real icon go for a 05-09, if you want raw power go for a 5.0, I went for a 2006 Gt and Im really happy with her.
can't believe that you have not installed a blow by oil catch can on the engine... sure would help to keep the inside of the intake manifold a lot cleaner..
What's sup bro, I finally got my exhaust done on my stang and my new wheels install on my s197 I would like for you to see it . And tell me what you think. . Rb-
I wash cars at a dealership and we spray some degreaser onto the engine then scrub it with a brush then we pressure wash it. We never cover anything up and never had a problem with the engine. To be honest even though I’ve washed thousands of engine bays this way I still won’t pressure wash my own cars engine bay.
Josh Ventura I even asked then when they were teaching me the proper steps on how they want their cars to be washed and they said they never had a problem for years.
Cover spark plug areas and alternator. Degrease, Power wash. Blow it out with an air compressor when your done. Then Fine detail. (Never leave your battery in when doing this. NEVER"
Better make sure you don't let that purple power drip on you fenders , it will stain the shit outa the clear, make sure to wet the fenders before you mist your degreaser
Do not use perpeal power. It is costic to your engine and any type of aluminum. Abd it removes paint . I have been cleaning aircraft and aircraft engines abd car detailing.
Love your car, however your driving a fire trap with all that bad wiring you installed. there is a reason the factory puts wiring in loom. try to follow there lead. it would be a shame to ruin this car with a fire.
Used your sister's brush 😂 she'll never know. Beautiful engine! Thanks for the tips. I love all your videos and I of course added another 👍
haha she will never know! You can use a lot of different items to clean. Its so awesome. Ill go check it out!
Wish you would've done these types of videos a year ago. I had to do most of my work with no help lol nice work
I wish I would've started a long time ago. Glad you learned yourself :)
hell yeah man, the only thing
i will suggest is meguiars back to black for the plastic parts (like the coolant tank and the cold air intake) it really helps make it looks clean and black. just a quick wipe on, let it sit, and wipe off
Sweet! I didn't know about that. I will go check it out. Thank you so much :)
Awesome video again man! Yes, you should do a CAI and throttle body cleanup inside. Keep it up😎
Thanks man! I sure will :) I appreciate it
Bad ass video Nate! We need the cold air intake cleaning video and some with sally at car meets! Keep up the great work!
I will put both of those down on my list! Thank you so much for the info
Make the cleaning of the CAI
Sounds good! Video to come
Simple Green works pretty good too.

Love the video man, cant wait to clean mine. Anything you do to sally i'm sure we'd love to see!
Oh course! Im not doing anything else to her without you guys knowing
For mines i use gum out form and power wash it and it does a pretty nice job and thats with where i work having a very dusty lot
yes that will work too!
use compressed air or maybe a leaf blower to dry out any water deposits that are left
Good Vid Dude! I watch all your vids and learning alot about my mustang also what I can do with my stang.
Very nice video, great useful tips and highlights

Love this guy
Thanks my man I really appreciate it :)
Good detailed easy instructions, thanks for the tips.
What about covering the ignition coil pack? Did I miss something?
Nice ride man but my luck I’d spray something that cost money and have to have Ford put in. Lol.
you nee to clean you tire lettering next lol great vid thanks man.

You should do a deep clean. Your engine bay was already kinda clean. My block on my 09 STANG GT is filthy.
But hey real nice job. Thank you

I'll use this video 👌🏻
Sweet!
Nice Job! Where did you get the bar that goes across the middle of the engine?
Getting the top of the valve cover clean is always a pain.
Nice Mustang bro, i have a question i bought a led third light, like the one you have, did you make something else to make it work ¿? Because just when i plug it stays on even when you dont press the brake pedal i go back with stock and its ok.
I just plugged it in and it worked for me? Which one did you get? It should work if you plug it into the stock plug
Nate Rider i buy the light in ebay, it looks nice but even if you active the alarm, the light stays on like the stand by function 😔 i will return the part

"1,000 mile owner review" something like that
Yeah most definitely. I know you guys like those types of videos so I will do so :)

Edward Steinjolt thank you for the input! Got an Instagram? I wanna see!
Pinks Camera sure bro @steinjolt
can't believe that you have not installed a blow by oil catch can on the engine...
sure would help to keep the inside of the intake manifold a lot cleaner..
Random question but is your strut tower bar touching the top of your engine?
I just got one for my 2010 gt and it just grazes the top.
Show us how to clean the CAI!
I gotchu! Sure will :)
Video for cleaning cai pls
Coming this wednesday or thursday!
Cool thanks!
What's sup bro, I finally got my exhaust done on my stang and my new wheels install on my s197 I would like for you to see it . And tell me what you think. .
Rb-
Yeah did you post it anywhere?
Nate Rider like a video or pics ?
Nah I haven't posted anything yet.
You should clean whole engine at the same time. You're getting the cleaned parts dirty again with this method
where tf did you get the pypes emblem??
Or just cover certain electrical parts and just steam clean that thing!!
yessir
ChrisFix is that you? xD
haha I wish!
How much hp is your stang?
around 350

Yeahh I'm not sure about that...good thing you don't. Water will be stuck in a bad place eventually. Better to be thorough than risk something
Josh Ventura I even asked then when they were teaching me the proper steps on how they want their cars to be washed and they said they never had a problem for years.
yeah car engine are supposed to last through some water, but you are pressure washing it lol thats doing a lot
Cover spark plug areas and alternator. Degrease, Power wash. Blow it out with an air compressor when your done. Then Fine detail. (Never leave your battery in when doing this. NEVER"
Can't it just be steam cleaned?
yessir!
Better make sure you don't let that purple power drip on you fenders , it will stain the shit outa the clear, make sure to wet the fenders before you mist your degreaser
Whatever happen to washing your vehicle
You should at least credit Chris fix if you're going to copy his content.
I switched the title :)
Nate Rider awesome man. Being unique and creating unique content will help your channel grow.
Especially if you're going to feature 'soapy wooder"
Cleaning an engine is copying? I guess putting air in the tires is as well
Grayson Goss he didn't really copy him his method is a little different as ChrisFix hosed it down while he went piece by piece
Love ur vids, but u should change the title. It copies ChrisFix's video
Yeah I meant to do that. I want to be like him one day. He is rocking the game right now. Should I still switch it? Is it bad? please let me know
In all honest there's no other way you can word it lol Just like his titles its simple and gets the point across. NIce vid!
Do not use purple power it will spot your block do not I repeat use purple power use mean green or dawn dishwashing liquid
Do not use perpeal power. It is costic to your engine and any type of aluminum. Abd it removes paint .
I have been cleaning aircraft and aircraft engines abd car detailing.
first???
If I had a trophy I would give it to you :)
Love your car, however your driving a fire trap with all that bad wiring you installed. there is a reason the factory puts wiring in loom. try to follow there lead. it would be a shame to ruin this car with a fire.
Yeah I will cover it up better. I just have had no time. thank you for that
Watch me clean an engine that isn't even dirty....
Watch me hate for no reason
Just powerwash it
Just watch Chris fix it's way better
Your car is a n/a 4.6 no way it's putting down 440. Not without a supercharger.
do not wash your engine dont be stupid, you can wipe dust slightly thats all what you need to do
It doesnt hurt to wash the engine IF you know what youre doing
