I was skeptical you can wash mustang engine first, but the user manual actually recommends you wash the engine just like you said. Great video and awesome looking GT
Awesome video but I never imagined it this way.. Can I do this with a 2014 Mustang without worrying that I'll get water some places that is not supposed to.. Like the battery or plugs and sparks..
Washing like this is perfectly fine yes water can kill an alternator but not like this normally find it happens on 4x4 when wading through deep water with power still going to your alternator
wouldn't recommend whilst hot, regards cracking you never know it may as hot metal cooled down very quickly has the chance of doing so. let the car sit for a couple of hours after driving and you will be good to go

YumCars it is totally true though 👍🏼😂
What about the alternator?

Yes 🙌
Would it be safe to not cover anything on a 2008 Suzuki Swift Sport?
Absolutely
@@YumCars legend mate thank you I’ll get round to it haha any word on Savage Garage? Is he okay?
@@michaelslater5669 As far as we know he is all good
@@YumCars good glad to hear it shame he seems to have stopped his channel 😪
great product having seen first hand the results after a couple of days, would be worth while adding this to your video or web page
Thank you Daryl! Great seeing you the other day and sharing some of our knowledge.
Is there anything that needs to be covered ?
On modern stock cars no
You cover the alternator?
nope
@@YumCars gonna have to try this then. My bigger fear is the alternators
So what did you cover when you sprained the whole inside
We didn’t cover anything.
@@YumCars savage
Hurry up with the new product, can’t wait to get some, great video buddy, regards Stu
Hi Stu! One of many developments we are working on. Hope your keeping well!
Would using water in the main engine area affect the spark plugs and any other electrical ?
On modern engines no, all vital connections are splash proof
Thank you..
Are they splash proof on a 2015 mustang
@@Toxic5.0. that’s literally a 2015
@@user-yi6dd1pi8s😂😂😂yup basically 2015 to 2017🤦♂️
How tall are you?
6’6
Been after a decent engine bay cleaner for ages.
Yum undress will be your best friend in this department
What about power washing the engine while it’s hot.... would it crack the block or the heads or is that just a myth?

Good job. At 4:14, however, the car whispers 'get this cheesy hood prop out of me'. She deserves to be listened to.
haha!
Do you disconnect the battery?
No we didn't. The battery is sealed and totally safe.
Why didn’t you put the camera further.

U dont want all that water on those electrical parts though. Steam is best
water is just fine, modern engines are splash proof.
🤦♂️
Thank you for watching
