I'm so relieved this memorial event was handled with such respect and dignity. There were a few laughs but you can tell this was something that was needed for the public. I thank Kobe's wife for being so strong and letting this happen.

Kobe has made me cry on 4 separate occasions, his last game, his dear basketball, his untimely death, now this. God an gigi was so young. I keep tellin myself y’all was to great for this world so he called you guys back home. And while yes they were more famous and it was expected, I still think it could have been handled better to pay respect to the other victims as well. It is absolutely impressive to hear how much he was admired and looked up to by so any people for so many different things. I have never seen such a reaction worldwide over the passing of someone. He was an anomaly to say the least

Kobe had such a big impact in basketball, sports, and the world. He was also a part of my childhood. I loved watching him play and rooting for the Lakers with my loved ones. He’s a legend and I only hope to achieve a fraction of what he had in my own life.

This is killing me. My husband and I lost our baby son plus 2 pregnancies, having 5 living children. When my husband died suddenly at 45, devastating me, I had a dream he came to tell me all 3 were with him and I had to live to take care of our 5 living children, saying we're "still doing this together". Probably my own grieving brain, but it felt so real.

False his parents didn’t like Vanessa which caused the relationship between Kobe and his parents to be strained. I read somewhere Vanessa was just in it for the money and the parents believed that. Who knows what the truth is though. RIP Kobe
