    3 years later, I still couldn't believe he's gone.
Kobe's passing was one of the hardest things to cope. When I was just a teen living in China, Kobe was the first basketball player I've known. I would watch lakers game during the lunch break with my classmates and admired all his moves! I bought so many kobe's posters and signed his name in Chinese (lol). 10 years later, I moved to the states. My top checklist was to see laker's game in staples center. I still vividly remembered seeing Kobe playing on court. He nailed it in the 4th quarter and lakers won ! That was a dream come true moment of my life. I wanted to say thank you dear Kobe. You gave me strength and hope. Now i'm 35 and soon become a mother. I will teach my kid to play basketball and watch your games together. Lots of love.

Seeing MJ emotional really puts into perspective how serious and competitive he was while playing, and why the emotional flood would always break after winning a championship. His teammates literally did not think he was capable of these emotions until they saw it with the trophy in his hands. They thought he was a sociopath, someone without empathy and whose only emotion expressed is anger and frustration, and it turns out he’s this big empathetic teddy bear the whole time. Love it.

He cherished life no matter the position he was in. On the court, at home or in public it didn’t matter. He was one of few who chose to live while heartedly and put his fame aside. He realized something many in the fame industry dont and that is fame was his job not his identity. Rip Kobe.

This is the only time I was moved by a celebrity's death. At 42 years old, I'm blessed to be old enough to have seen Michael in his prime but Kobe was my goat. This still hurts to this day, Kobe was an outstanding basketball player but most importantly, he was a great ambassador of the game. I was blessed to see him play live and witness his killer instinct and passion for the game. Those are moments I will never forget. I miss him like I knew him personally. That's how hard this one hit me. Rest in peace champ, I'm sure you're hitting that fade-away in heaven right now along with the other greats we've lost.

What you posted just shows that you are a true human being! Your words shows the love of not just the game but of what kobe did not only on the hard wood but in the way he carried him self as a man, a father, and a husband. Tragedy is never easy to deal with but if you have and exercise your faith in Jehova God almighty can one deal with great loss!

I myself was confused at my own emotions when this tragedy occured, knowing that i had never really met Kobe but loved him just the same but after realizing how deeply he had touched my heart with what he has given to this world and seeing how much others felt the same it made sense

I mean yeah dude this would be really sad if it was real but highly doubt Kobe is really dead.

This is one of the best Eulogies I have ever heard. Thank you for your leadership, Kobe and Michael. You both had a passion for life and that goes beyond any sport….

@Levent.A. STFU....What are you even talking about?? Who takes money to the grave with them?? We will all leave many things behind when we die...what's your point?? I'm sure you'll be forgotten easily, yet Kobes name will be mentioned for decades to come!
