      @@impacc4182 son,I’m sorry you didn’t get the chance to actually watch him play “live” ,for us that did it was a totally different experience than watching TH-cam highlights,it’s not the fact that the audience cheered for him,it’s the fact they cheered the loudest for him out of all the current and former players,let that sink in for a minute,the audience cheered more for him than anyone there,does that make him the goat,absolutely not,it’s all his other accomplishments that he has,he has literally done more for the game of basketball than any other player in the history of the NBA,he made the NBA a global sport,he brought more people to the sport than ever before,his will to win,his competitiveness his athletic ability was something never seen before and we have yet to see,his mental toughness,I know Lebron is an amazing player but he doesn’t have that killer instinct or mental toughness that MJ has,there tons of former and current NBA players who will tell you,MJ is the goat,

    kobe once talked about his inner dream, of getting to be at the GOAT table, and feel like he belonged there. It truly pains when you realize that though he never got to saw it, he does not just sit at the table, but also get to talk, and have the GOATs wonder in awe. I miss him, truly.

    Just turned 75. Grew up with the league from a tv set with snow before my parents finally got an antenna installed. Now I can watch the NBA on my phone or laptop.     It was nice to see that Bob Pettit is still around and the oldest to actually attend the ceremony. He was the leagues first official MVP back in 1955-56, and is the best Hawks player in franchise history.
