I’m also Sara Lorraine! And also named after my grandmother! It’s an old-fashioned name but very beautiful. I painted this project last weekend but with fall leaves instead of lemons. It turned out beautiful!
I have a tip. As you're removing the tape, warm it slightly with your heat tool. That softens the tape adhesive, making it easier to pull without tearing. But if you do heat the tape, remove it right away. Heating it and letting it cool while stuck to the paper can have inconsistent results. Also, from quilting, mistakes are lucky. The one that doesn't look right is the most interesting. Very pretty. I can't wait to do this one.
❤This is a year old but I found your channel much too late. How I wish I’d found you earlier. You are the most delightful creator I think on YT. I have no talent plus I’m older than dirt and my hands often get tremors….however, I still have an interest in watercolor. I favor realism but certainly am not seeing the finish line on one of those. 😊 I am bedridden for the most part and it makes painting more difficult. I still want to learn and practice what I can. I’ve had no watercolor lessons other than the ones I’ve viewed on YT. I recently saw info on Grandma Moses. I spent a few days reading up on her and found her very inspiring. I really like rustic art. That she accomplished what she did with no instruction is amazing. Do you ever do any rustic references? Like a small grouping of crocks, an old window, a porch swing, etc…anything really. This is so old you probably won’t see it but mainly I just want to thank you and Michael for being you and being so supportive of each other. God bless! ❤️🙏🏻
I'm so very behind, but I finally painted this. It was so fun. Thank you!
We're so happy to hear that you were able to get some painting time in.❤️

this is very kind, than you for watching. Sarah finds inspiration everywhere, I wouldn't be surprised to see rustic paintings at some point!
Andy Warhol is not my favourite but watching you create this and using it as an exercise is a great idea.
I love, love, love this tape and am so glad you introduced me to it.
Isn't it the absolute best!? We're so happy to hear that you've fallen in love with it as well. Total game changer for painting.
So creative 🥳
Pro tip, I put the tape on a kitchen towel, or my pants before applying it to the paper, it makes it less sticky.
Thanks for the tip!!
You can warm it up with your heat tool before removing the tape, it will not tear...
Awesome tip, thanks for sharing it with us!
amazing! I tried this out
How did you enjoy painting this project!?
The Uffiizi is in Florence.
Giotto is the artist you're talking about.
Who did the circle. 😊
Is pop art when you paint a can of soda?
Yes!!
