Grazie e buone e fantasiose pennellate! 😊👋
Greece has buildings like these, too (but white and blue), especially in the islands. And they’ve all been added onto quite a few times, which only adds to the chaotic cluster look. I love this! Thank you, all!
Our guide also took us down the back streets and saw their clothes hanging out to dry and red geraniums everywhere. So interesting. The flowers make everything so beautiful.
wonderful painting! I went to the Cinque Terra many years ago and stayed in Vernazza. Did the boat tour to see all the towns... Such a beautiful and colorful place. Thank you for this painting tutorial!!
We hope you have the best time painting this project. Stay tuned for something special Sarah has coming this Friday... we think you're going to love it!!
I’ve painted in oils and acrylics for years but have always feared watercolor. Just started a class at the senior center and am absolutely loving it! It’s a very forgiving medium. Your tutorials are helping tremendously. Thank you!
I also visited Italy and Cinque Terre, I fell in love with the country. I painted it once. I may try it again, just because. Like you said each time you do it, it comes out different. I think, I could do a little more work on my cliffs, but that's me judging my art, exactly what you said not to do. I love your channel. Thank you for the fun painting tutorials.
I totally sit back and admire my paintings when they're done. I also feel a sadness that the painting is over. And for some reason I don't feel like I can start a new painting right away out of respect for the painting I just finished. It's hard being me, sometimes. 😆😫😁
Karen we can totally relate to what you're saying. We think it's because each painting totally holds a part of you, don't you think? Thanks for tuning in and creating along with us!!
Cinque Terre---is pronounce chin-qwa Tair-e I love Italy so much, wish I could go back....I didn't want to come home after a week and if I'd been fluent in Italian I think I would have been looking for a job (i'm a retired RN). And the food!!!....ohhhhhhh
Beautiful subject matter and beautiful execution. Seems difficult to explain everything and get an entire multi dimensional painting done within the time frame you allotted, but you did it ! I recently signed up for monthly art kits so won’t have this outline, but will give it a try anyway. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Lesson I learned last week painting a rose bud - don't cheap out on the paint. I tried to do the whole thing using one drop of paint per color. I was trying to conserve paint - I have to get over that thought process when I am painting with watercolors. It's the nature of the paint, that you are going to lose some in the water as you rinse.
Hi LMA question Sarah mentions the pen she used in the urban sketch box and I need to know the name of the pin so I can look for it please because I have the box but the pens not in it please help
You are the best teacher . I love watching you

Oh Sarah I love this painting. I too went to Italy and I saw these hilltop towns and they were so beautiful. I always wanted to paint them.
How fun. Now you get to paint these hilltop towns, yayy!! Happy painting!

Fun time! My son who doesn't like to paint said, "Whoa, that looks like a fun one to paint!" So I'm calling this a win!
Ohhhhh that is totally a win, we love that we got the stamp of approval from your son!
@@LetsMakeArt Me too! He doesn't like to paint but has been very supportive of my newish hobby.
I just love this painting. I think it's my favorite of all your tutorials.

How fun! We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you for painting along with us!!
This turned into a "how to paint flat cliffs" practice for me. Then, on the 3rd time I pained it, wooooo ! I love the way #3 turned out.
Love that you tried it a few times and finally ended up being happy. They do say third time is the charm!😉
I've probably watch this at least a dozen times. I've been to Italy and I loved it and I love this picture. I am determined to paint it.

How fun that you've also visited Italy! Thanks for all your love and support. Happy creating!!
This was a fun one. I found painting in the windows and roofs surprisingly soothing. Thanks Sarah and Keenan!
I love this painting.

Love that you did a scene from Vernazza. I hope you will do more travel-themed scenes. I love them!
Stay tuned!!😉

Cinque Terre is a favorite and this is a beautiful spot... I took a photo from this very vantage. I believe this is Riomaggiore - Manarola
Love this project!
We are so happy to hear this. Thanks for tuning in!!

Absolutely!! Some paint will be sacrificed in the process of creating your masterpieces.
We need a LMA pink Missouri kind of Sky painting! 😍
Ohhhh that's a really good idea. We will totally pass it along to Sarah.
Do I need to purchase the kit to be able to trace the picture. I have the paints already. Thank you.
I went to one place that had olive trees on the side of the Hill.
Can you do more Urban sketching. Flowers get boring.
