    Dear Sarah, I just want to let you know - that you are a real life-saver. And your work is very important.
    I am not a beginner, rather an experienced artist, but I paint with you for a long time. And now your videos save me from suffering and depression. Only with I can paint.
    I am from Ukraine and I suppose that you know, that we have hard times now. I do not have the strength to paint alone, but you cheer me and help me to survive.
    Thank you!

      I send my love to you!! To all Ukrainians!! Do whatever you can to work on your natural depression. I am so impressed with the Ukraine spirit!! I have sent $$ to help your country, I have bought Tshirts supporting your people. Painting is very helpful taking my mind off of my 40 years of pain. It transports me to a comfortable place. Continuing to pray for you, your families, and your country!!

    I had tears in my eyes when you talked about the storm and the mountain. Thank you so much for sharing…that will help me next time because everyone feels that way sometimes 🙏🏻❤️ Love your tutorials so much because they are a mountain too.

    It is always a privilege to watch you videos. You are so open with us and again you gave us part of yourself. Thanks so much for everything you continue to give and share. I am currently struggling out of the storm, and feel as if I am loosing parts of myself. The painting has helped me so much.

    great tutorial on mist, distance, and texture. Blooms do help give a painting more dimension. Thank you Sarah and Keenan.

    I am so glad you shared the mountain and the storm story! Things have been a bit stormy for me lately but when I saw this painting I immediately felt calm. Now I understand the calm you had when you created this. I just started a new job that is challenging me and I am now going to bring mountain energy instead of storm. ❤️

    A collision of 2 sayings. They whispered to her...you can not survive this storm...she whispered back...I am the storm. Storms are not always sent to do damage...some time the storm is sent to clear the path. Let the storms in your life clear the debris field out of your way and allow your storm energy to electrically charge your mind and efforts to leave newness in its wake. That newness can lead to many new journeys for you and others.

    I just tried the same technique of making my own tracing paper, but used one of my watercolor pencils. When I paint on top now it will become part of the painting instead of standing out from it.

    For maybe the first time ever (I might have manage the same feat in February) I finished my subscription box before the month was up! Lots of great projects in this box. I only need to finish the raindrops and then I have done all the main projects from 2022 (haven't done postcards so far). Still on a painting streak to boot. Today is day 141!

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This made us so, so happy to hear!! Congrats on the streak you're on, that seriously is amazing. We're super impressed that you're painting right along with us for our 2022 projects. We gotta know. What was your favorite project from your Maintaining Balance box?

      @@LetsMakeArt Uff...it was a great box. I loved painting the birds because it was quicker and played to my strengths. But I think I love how the butterfly turned out the best.

    You can create your own tracing paper by coloring on the back of your reference picture with a regular pencil. The more graphite you lay down the darker the pencil line will be when you trace with it.

    Ok, you freaking precious…Ooooooo, I just want to leap into the TV (which I’m still befuddled that we still can’t “Beam me up, Scottie!” I mean, we can land on the moon and have a Space Station yet we’re light years {see what I did there…😂} behind what clearly Star Trek mastered.) and go, “WHAT?!!!!!” {Love burst. Love burst!} them plop my oh so delighted self right next to you, Sarah (because let’s be honest. I’m watching you sitting there so, that’s OBVIOUSLY where you are now. Duh! 🤣). Kick back in the chair with my crossed heels, on the non-painting part of the table, and say, “Ok, that does it. I’m home.” While I give a “WHAZZZZZUPPPP KEENAN?!! 🖐🏼” then tell Scottie to beam up my hubby, son & Grace our Mini Goldendoodle (my heroine in the St. Jude Children’s books Big Daddy, aka, Daddy God, and I have been working on…WHICH I think He wonders if I will wait on Him for every aspect of it even if it MEANS TAKING FOREVERRRRRRR!!!!…and of course I am. 🤪
    Where was I going with this? Oh yeah, I’m freaking only 10 minutes into the “video preview before I watch again and paint with”, and my heart is crying (in the best way) because you’re such a freaking answer to prayer. Come on! Good Lord, I just love you guys!!! So much so that I have begun a painting to send to you guys that hopefully captures a glimpse of the true gift you all are. Oh yeah and I told told husband I wanted to move to Hamilton, MO! He was like, “MISSOURI?!” Yup! You go where you can surround yourself with people who see you as gems because they themselves are one. I mean, duh! GOSH, I don’t know how long I can go without just moving there! CONTINUAL LOVE BURST!

      @LetsMakeArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dawn, your message totally made our morning!! We are BEYOND lucky that you're part of our LMA family. If your husband isn't quite convinced with a move to MO, you've definitely got to come sometime for a trip and say "hi" in the flesh. We would LOVE that!!

      @@LetsMakeArt Oh it’s ON!!!! 💃🏻 All I gotta say (ok, I have A LOT to say 😂) is something good and deep and yummy and beautiful and new is bursting forth from you guys. It’s palpable and is THE CHOICEST OF GEMS!! Let’s just say I know from experience the unbelievably painful journey it can be when the whole “bringing the diamond that we are forth” looks more like the Road Runner’s arch nemesis that littered his pathway with ACME TNT 🧨….but great news, you precious sweet gems you! IT ONLY BACKFIRED & BLEW UP IN HIS ENEMY’S FACE! 🎉 Then in sheer “drop the mic” fashion, the Road Runner suddenly appears, completely unharmed. Calmly looks at his enemy - who’s has birds & stars circling around his head - then looks at us and makes his signature sound, “Meep! Meep!” Then back on his merry way, completely unaffected.
      BOOYEAH!! MEEP! MEEP! 🤜🏼
