Salam, i am working and have applied to an AAT course in college. I haven’t passed my gcses and i am 20. Is there a difference between AAT & ACCA. In sha allah i want to go all the way.
Wa alaykum as Salam yes aat is a more junior qualification people study this often before moving on to a chartered qualification like the ACCA. ACCA is the better qualification to have
Salam, alhamdulillah I have got an offer from Mazars for audit, however I know I'd defo like to work in industry as an accountant for another company once I am quailified. Would you say it is difficult to do this (as I'd be competing with big4 applicants)
Asalamualaikum brother, hope you are well I have started year 12 this september and I am currently studying aat level 2 first yr and level 3 second year accouting (as in a level NOT apprenticeship I aim to be in a level 4 apprenticeship after yr 13 insha'allah, do you think this is possible? and please can you tell me some places to apply and search for as i struggle finding level 4 apprenticeships, also please give some advice if to take level 4 apprenticeship after yr 13 and if i should do something different instead? JazaaqAllah.
Wa alaykum as Salam you can go into a level 4 after completing your level 3. I’ve done a video on where to find accounting jobs with links in the description - please check it out. I would also recommend looking at level 7 apprenticeship but you probably won’t meet the entry requirements for most as they require around 112 ucas points
Salam, I was wondering how'd you answer the technical questions, especially the client related one.? It's so hard to come with an answer for those in 30 seconds.
@@FehzanMehdi Some example of the q's i'm referring to are the ones that you have to answer in job simulations. 1) You are dealing with a client that has limited knowledge about finance. How'd you summarise the information to explain the complex financial terms and information>? 2) Your client is upset with the work down on the project. How'd you reassure the client? 3) You are working on a tight deadline. Your manager approaches you and asks you to work on a different project. What would you do in this situation|?
Hi Fehzan, do you have a video about interview techniques and use of STAR technique? I'm trying to point a young person towards some useful advice.
Check out the partner interview videos I talk about STAR there will be doing another video on competency based questions in the next couple of weeks
@@FehzanMehdi much appreciated.

Hopefully you find today’s video helpful
After GCSEs would it be better to take A-levels or a Level 3 Apprenticeship?
I recommend doing alevels or btec it opens up more doors for you
