Which job of accounting do you think that does not deal with Interest?
For an adult (30yo) looking for a career change, two degrees in other subjects, no experience in finance and not particularly a numbers person but have a great attention to detail/curiosity and looking to learn and for a new challenge with high earning potential.. would the AAT route be good for me?
Hey sir, can you share me the details in doing this course because I am willing to do it.
Please visit the icaew website where you'll find all the information needed on the ACA
yes but what do you work as now? As a chartered accountant you are dealing with riba anyway, no?
@@star123_12 currently I work in internal audit and no I don’t deal with riba
@@FehzanMehdi and how does that work? In just because you don't directly deal with riba, doesn't mean you are not part of it. Those who record it are just as cursed as those who directly do it, its in a hadith. Or do you work for an islamic establishment or conventional?
@@FehzanMehdi haykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The one who helps another to commit sin will incur a burden of sin as much as he deserves. It is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it and the one who writes it down, because the two witnesses and the one who writes it down are helping to confirm this transaction, so they incur whatever they deserve of the curse. End quote from al-Liqa’ ash-Shahri, 35/24
@@star123_12 So I don't record accounting journals which have riba, I don't witness or sign finance agreements, and I'm just paid a salary as part of my compensation so don't consume riba with regards to my role. However, this is not me giving a fatwa, these discussions require in depth analysis which can't be done over YT comments by laymen like myself.

arent all the jobs related to accounting haram though?
@@star123_12 it’s not as simple as making a blanket statement like that
@@FehzanMehdi well explain it then please, otherwise it's just pure hypocrisy because a hadith clearly states Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The one who helps another to commit sin will incur a burden of sin as much as he deserves. A salam alykum my brother I hope you read my comment and reply me I am aat student and I couldn't find halal job in accounting most of the firms involve with alcohol or ribba for their clients and I lost my job because of that I feel very disappointed and I am afraid to continue in this career what would you advice me and is there jobs in accounting does not involve harm things Jazak allh khair
@@umrubab4417 wa alaykum as Salam put your faith in Allah you left something haram for the sake of Allah so you will be rewarded abundantly for that. Asalmu alaikum, how to avoid interest?
Hi - just getting as much advice as I can. I’m being offered a choice between ACA and CIMA at my graduate trainee position in industry. I understand that CIMA is more tailored to industry but I’m just not sure if I want to stay in industry for my whole career. I was leaning towards ACA but I know that my lack of experience in practice could be a barrier for when I apply to roles in practice. I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot if I do end up staying in industry by not doing cima but also I don’t want to shoot myself in the other foot by not having an aca for if I want to move. What’s your opinion please / what would you do in my shoes?
@@emdim there is no bad choice and if you’re working in industry it’s more rare for you to go to practice - but even if you do decide to do that I’d expect you to be considered more on your experience rather than whether you have a specific qualification. Bearing all in mind I’d go for ACA but I am biased
Thanks mate.. How to deal with Favouritism at the workplace.. Despite of what you do... They develop favourites and you are screwed then🥲😪
Hi I will finish my level 3 business admin apprenticeship soon but i want to go into finance/accounting. Will i be able to make that shift. To level 4 if not level 3?
You could but if you've done business admin I'd recommend starting at level 3 - that's what I did with the AAT and I found it helpful after a-levels the jump to level 4 without prior experience may be tough!
Even creative jobs are about to replace by AI. What the hell is Accounting ?
I'll believe it when I see it...
If you are a Senior #3, don’t tell the Manager #1 you want to get promoted. You will get a bad performance review and roll off the client.
It isn't always like that...a good manager will know that their success lies in their team's success
Do accountants work weekends which don’t like
When you were in bdo for apprenticeship did u work more then 9-5 same with your job at big 4 which was Deloitte
Isn’t law higher
What about hours for smaller companies
Is it long hours for apprentices at big 4 too
How much was longest had to work
What kind of hard maths is in college
Does accounting involve interest at big 4 like Deloitte a company you worked for or audit
Dosent accounting involve interest brother at big 4 companies and banks
Hiii , is technical apprentice at fujitsu Chennai ... good for fresher...i got doc verification mail to be uploaded.
I am looking for guidance to apply for apprenticeship in Uk. I am an ACCA student (8/13) and I also passed Certificate in Accounting and Finance ( CA inter) from CA pakistan. I also worked as an Audit associate for few months in Pakistan. Uk is a new place for me that’s why I don’t have any information about firms. Which level I should applied etc
Whats the salary of a cma us with 2 years of experience
In the UK? Post qualified? If so, I'd expect around the £70K mark to be reasonable depending on experience.
How many passing gcses do you need for a average companies level 6 degree apprenticeship
Many will require atleast 5 GCSEs with a pass grade in Maths and English
@@FehzanMehdi so 3 other gcses pass and english , maths with a specific grade or passing grqde

While doing accounting apprenticeships, is there a way to avoid dealing with interest when working?
Hi, i am currently thinking of switching from medicine to finance and i am thinking of applying for an apprenticeship so as to get my bachelors. I am not a uk citizen, does this process still apply because i do not have the A-levels or GCSE (although i do have a certificate equivalent to the GCSE), i am currently living in europe and i have been doing research about apply for an apprenticeship but still haven't found anything clear on that. Please let me know if you have advise on this. Thank you!
Can i start at level 3 if i got my GCSEs? I got 5+ with good grades in the main 3 especially maths
Yes you can!
say i was planning to go to America at some point in my career would the icaew still be valid or would acca be better because it more worldwide? Im so sorry if this is a dumb question I'm planning to do an apprenticeship so I want to know which one is more suited to my goal
Hi, I have already graduated with a masters degree (57.92%, grade was affected by the loss of my younger brother )with no prior work experience. What should I do as my applications don't go through. Can you help please?
If you got the equivalent of a 2:1 in Bachelors degree then that should be good enough to get in to many schemes.
I have like high grades in my A levels with an A in Maths, B in Chemistry, A* in ICT and A* in EPQ. I have done my GCSE Equivalent abroad but in my sixth form I got to do GCSE English ( i got a 9) and GCSE Maths (i got 8). My doubt is even though from the NARIC i got my comparability grades for other subjects (they give a range of grades not specific grades for each subject in the comparable letter from NARIC). What do i do in this situation? Can i use my comparable letter for other subject to prove that i have 5 GCSE's along with my GCSE English and GCSE Maths I have written here? Could You Help Please.... Thank you
My Comparable UK qualifications said that I have GCSE (grades A*-C / 9-4)
I would say apply and then discuss with HR. UCAS have a guide on equivalent qualifications from abroad so worth checking that out.
Accounting is new to me & just subscribed. From your videos the ACCA has a more global appeal. If i do the ACCA can i get exemptions to do the ACA ( am thinking of doing both) but wants to be sure after ACCA i can get exemptions to do the ACA?
You can switch membership from ACCA to ACA if you wanted to later on, although the ACA may require you to sit 1-2 more exams before they admit you as a member.
Good
Am undergraduate Am not good at maths but i love accounting and finances as my career can some one tell more maths in accounting and finances
As long as you can use excel and are a logical thinker you should be fine.
What level should i do after 12th std in India?
Assuming 12 std is equivalent to A-levels - if you're in the UK you could apply for a level 7 apprenticeship if you meet the entry and right to work requirements.
Hi Fehazan, your opinion is solicited: I used to be an accountant in my home country Tunisia with a bachelor's degree in accounting sciences. I did my master's degree in finance and compliance in the UK but I realised it was a total scam. I would like to return to be a chartered accountant here in London and open my own office. What is the difference between ACCA and ACA? Do they propose the same content of education? do they both allow the same path of becoming a chartered accountant? Last question, what should I do if I want to be certified in IFRS ? Thank you. Naoufel.
ACCA and ACA are similar bodies - both suitable for you if you want to open up your own practice.
Hii ! I'm looking forward to take mathematics in uni after completing my A levels. I want to be a CA afterwards. So, will that qualification will be enough or what else should be necessary ? Also, I'm a student from abroad. I don't have any gcses but grades equivalent to gcses. Will it matter in this career ? Thank you !
So after university you will need to study for a CA qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA etc.
Assalomu alaykum How much salary will I get if I graduate masters degree the account course of any university in England
Wa alaykum as salam if you joined a grad scheme around £25-30k.
Hi thanks for the video can you get into btech if the GCSE's scores are really low in the range of 1s & 2s?
You'd have to check individual college / school requirements. If grades are 1s and 2s maybe worthwhile retaking Maths and English so you have a pass grade (4) and that will open up more opportunities for you.
What number of people are polled for these statistics and where in the UK do those questioned live/work? I live in North Lincolnshire, whenever I hear these average income reports I'm curious about the figures. I don't know a single person who earns 32,000 from full time employment even if they have been in the job over 3 years. Self employed construction workers earn more but if they are subcontracting & the work is sporadic, they can earn less over a 1-2 year period compared to self employed tradesmen that work renovation/installation.
Hey I can't recall the exact amount as this video is quite old now, down south however salaries are higher, especially when you get to London.
Hello, Thanks for this informative video. Please I'd like to ask if the worklife balance at smaller accounting firms is way better than what it is at the big4. Would people still have to do crazy long hours and is the work load lesser or just the same?
I'd expect a better work life balance, however just because the firm is smaller doesn't mean you won't have to put a long shift in from time to time.
@@FehzanMehdi thank you...I really do appreciate your response.
Plz make a video on halal carrier in finance
Please check out my video called do accountants deal with interest. I'm not qualified to say whether a career is halal or not.
Why are you saying Chartered or Management Accountancy as if you cannot be Chartered in Management Accounting? CIMA literally stands for Chartered Institute of Management Accountants...
They are both different - typically cima qualified accountants can’t open up their own practice due to less exposure to audit and tax. Important to call that difference out.
Is doing bsc hons in accouting and finance worth?
I always recommend to people to study a different degree as you can learn accounting and finance if you join a finance grad scheme which trains you in a chartered accounting qualification
Great content ❤
Thank you
