    Salaam Fehzan - I'm coming towards the end of my studies for the ACA - could you do a video on moving to the transaction services/deal advisory service line from audit? This is a route that is desired by most people in audit.

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wa alaykum as salam not an easy one as a) I never did that route so not an expert and b) each persons experience maybe different - what may work for you may not work for everyone else. I’ve done a video on switching service lines which contains tips worth checking out.

    Salaam Fehzan, if you don’t secure an apprenticeship at a big firm/mid size will joining a random small firm and gaining your ACA hinder your career significantly?

    Hi Fehzan - I have nearly completed CA qualification (UK) worked in private client/mixed tax all my time (5years) and currently AM level. How can I get into internal audit? Is there anything which can help my case to make the move across? Thinking is move to Internal audit and then move to industry and ideally IT audit or something to do with internal audit and IT. What qualifications/certifications can help my case? Any advice welcome. Thank you

      I would say focus on getting an internal transfer to either external audit or risk services within practice. If you spend a year in either of those you can then apply to IA roles within industry. You don’t need a specific qualification for operational / financial audit, CA should be enough. But if you want to go into IT Audit having a qualification like CISA definitely helps.

    @Fehzan Mehdi Does it matter from which body you qualify CA in the UK (ICAEW/ICAS/CAIreland) when it comes to jobs or not?

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No shouldn’t be a huge difference as they’re equivalent qualifications - the only one which i feel is rare to find in the UK is the CA Ireland so you may face some challenge there but I wouldn’t expect it to be a huge issue

    • @FehzanMehdi

      Equivalent not the same they will cover slightly different topics but are all well respected - the only clear difference is with cima which is more popular in industry than practice

    Hi Fehzan. Let me state a scenario
    Suppose, a person, fully qualified ACCA (incl the 3 years PER completed), also has a Bsc in Applied Accounting thru Oxford Brookes (which is attainable thru ACCA after first 9 papers). How much of a gross salary can he expect in london being a member of the ACCA.
    Also, love your videos✨
