Excellent video Harry on the move that creates an effortless golf swing! I like your idea of not forcing the club head in front of you as opposed to swinging the club feely letting it rotate naturally and feeling the club head. This is the sensation that I have been looking for and working on, a light grip and "gravity fall" of the club on the downswing in a semi circular and swing arc path. Now all I have to do is to get my lower body involved with your suggested "ground force" move! Well Done Harry!
Exactly that, the impulse but I talk about later in this video is a similar feel/ move to the squat move I’ve spoken about a lot in other content. Glad as always to have you watching my video John, really is appreciated, glad I’m always helping!
Hi, thank you for commenting, pleased you’re enjoying the content and you’re very welcome, I’m here to help you improve your game, so if there’s anything you like to see on the channel, let me know!
This is exactly what my last session with a pro ended up showing: I need this push from, the ground and the L shape in the finish. Hard to achieve after years of trying to control things too much. I would love to see the same for the driver. Thank you so much Harry!
Thanks for commenting with your thoughts, pleased you've enjoyed the video, yes staying relaxed is key and i will certainly be adding another video with this for the driver very soon!
@@harryshawgolf I did try this morning in the simulator and realize this is something that will require a bit more practice before i get it going on the golf course. I find the timing of the drop and pushing up from the ground is going to take lots of reps. Occasion shots did feel faster and I will work on this tomorrow again. Supposed to rain tomorrow morning so will likely be in the simulator again and keep on trying.
Yes it does take a bit of time and reps to get used to, but keep me posted with how it goes... another on this topic will be posted next week with adding this to the driver!

@@harryshawgolf For me I’m just trying to find little nuggets that I can take away for my swing, just keep doing what you’re doing Harry, your style of coaching has resonated with me
Harry, What about focusing on “throwing down” the club before striking the ball (one combined fluid motion). As this might help keep from going OTT. Thoughts?? Thank you
Hi Dave, i really like this feel if it works better for you. There's no harm in changing/ tweaking the feel ever so slightly to suit you. Have you given this a try yet?
That’s trackman up presuming I’m hitting a 4 iron as that’s the standard yardage for a 4 iron on the monitor. I don’t lie in my videos, it was a 6 iron… I can assure you of that. I’ll take note to do a video on this topic but on the woods!
My swing path is usually a couple of degrees in to out and would say the same for this drill I teach in this video. Club face angle slight to pen to target but a touch closed to the path… hence the draw
No, if you were just smart enough to move the camera behind you so we can actually see what you’re doing and what you’re talking about rather than watching it from the side
Your comment is quite rude. Just remember - this guy Harry has taken the time out of his day to record, edit and upload a video in an attempt to help amateur golfers swing the club better. Why not perhaps thank him and POLITELY suggest that a down the line view would also help you visualise this move?
I would film from the side angle @tellwilliams4493 but i can't place the camera far enough away to get the full swing i the frame. Hope this has helped you anyway!
Thanks @cooperradley, I'm just trying to provide good advise to help as many golfers as i can improve. Pleased you're enjoying the videos and thanks for your support!

Brilliant will take note of this!

No worries, hoping to get them out next week!
Yes exactly any differences with driver and fairway woods would be very helpful
Have took note for this, looking forward to sharing my thoughts!
Let's see the video!!! I have been trying this but can't quite get it.
Great video thanks
Thanks for commenting, Will look to produce a video on this topic in the beer future!

Excellent video on an effortless golf swing. You certainly make it look so. Would definitely like to see how you do it with driver and woods. 😮😮😮
Thanks for commenting, great to read you’ve enjoyed the video and have already took note to do a video on the woods with regards to this concept!

Thanks for posting
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching!
Amazing. Thanks. Could you do also a bunker tip😊
Thank you! What tips are you looking for specifically in the bunker?
@@harryshawgolf thanks for asking. I’m struggling generally to get out of the bunker. Specially the short distance like out of the green side bunker.
Interesting, will take note.
Hi, what is club path numbers?
Thanks
The numbers on my shots were averaging a few degree in to out so around +2 to +4 degrees from what I could remember
Why does it say 4i instead of 6i? What do you do differently with the woods?

You resolved the amateur plague.
That’s great to read thanks!
Driver video please
Note taken glad you enjoyed the video!
Yet that's nothing like Brysons swing ...at the top of swing he drops club to waste height then hits up and through the ball.
Yes absolutely, just like this video’s tip… th-cam.com/video/5cuJG7hu_2Q/w-d-xo.html
