Again I was surprised by this game!
If u pair it with the upgraded relic that grants a power buff that you get early in the game it will be even more powerful. The frost awaken pairs with that relic is already op and I've used it to slaughter many bosses at this point

@@rgm2578 I had fun with it mainly the combat was fun but i also played on hard mode. the story was a cheezy b movie flick which i didn't care for. and it was kind of short so overall it turned out average if they cut the price in half the game would just barely be worth it then.
The way I found out about it is just because I liked designing each socket with a different rune from different realms. I did not expect it to be a hidden buff amazing!
this is a cool little hidden thing in ragnarok, but to me, not worth giving up the 3-set bonuses you can get otherwise. this hidden 9 realms buff needed to be much better or much longer lasting to make it worth it. to trigger it is a lot of work too. I say, stick to the 3-set bonuses you get
Not if ur making a Perma/Immolation build. Then this is honestly better than anything else you could get from a set bonus.

@@jayson546 Is it? There're at least 3 bonuses that take only 1 slot each (Damage on Realm Shifts, faster Immolation/permafrost build up, Bifrost storm) that are also very strong DPS gains.
I agree. It's more of an easter egg than anything else if it lasts way too short and not much damage. By the looks of it, you can get similar damage if you equip Lunda's cuirass to poison enemies, then immolate/permafrost your weapon, then use L1 + triangle, then switch to the the other weapon to activate vaporize frost/extinguish flames correspondingly

The grips of the 9 realms and musphelheim set is good for that along with something else but I can remember I just know it adds extra for all weapons on the build up with combo finishers

Imagine this with the Berserker chest so that you get the damage buff after triggering your relic, you could use the very first relic for another damage buff .

Yeah the nine realms buff, berserker chest and the realm shift relic. Dude then youre gonna be an aboslute damage machine for like 5 seconds. Gotta test that out tomorrow against the berserker king
@@stepanovicboro You don't need the realm shift relic its the starter relic that gives you a damage buff, if you use the weapon's nine realm perk you have a quick source of realm shift.

Pretty neat, but I'm not so sold on the usefulness of the buff compared to the 3 piece enhancement sets.
Now what I was was really hoping for was another Infinity Gauntlet easter egg of sorts. Like a special combo of 6 enhancements that deals a great boost or awesome attack. But alas...
Agreed but I think it’s based fully on play style. I was looking to do a Immolation and Permafrost build for a while and with my aggressive play style this is perfect tbh
But you’re not considering the fact that generally each realm has one or two really powerful stat bonuses for enchantments and the rest are just ok. So you can pick the strongest enchantment from each realm plus the 9 realm buff, at that point it could be a lot more powerful
My favorite amulet enchant to use is the one where u use 3 runic attack in a row and trigger Bifrost Storm. Chest use Raven Tears for the heath mist.
I finished the game today and Got my platinum trophy today, was the best story I've played in a game in a long time.

Thanks for sharing, good content. I used this for a short time on my perma/immo/mael build. While it is a unique buff, and does good damage while active, I found it challenging to proc during more difficult fights when you needed it the most, e.g. Berzerkers. Using in combination with realm shift is ideal, but by the time you activate realm shift and perma/immo/mael half the 8 seconds is already gone and you only get a few hits out of it. If you time it perfectly you can get the most out of it, but that's extremely challenging when you're focusing on multiple mechanics. I ended up switching back to 3 sets of 3-piece bonuses that are either always active or proc on their own so I don't have to worry about yet another thing during a fight. But I'd say definitely try it out if you like this kind of build, may end up working better for you.

Yooooo I didn't know you could farm the skill modifiers in the Niflheim training fights. That's big. Thank you. I kind of missed that mechanic until fairly late in the game, so I don't have a lot of those unlocked, and I don't have too many enemies left in most areas, so I've been struggling to unlock them. That's awesome
I used the muspelheim trails for that instead, that way you can get exp, HS, and materials at the same time. Then again, I played on hard, and could switch to easy for the farming, which you can't do on GMGOW.

I always thought it was something to do with the previous games armor enchantments. In GOW 2018, without a relic, you could use a max of 9 enchantments. Of course with certain relics, you could use 12 enchantments total.

@@JorRaptor Thanks Jor - Sorry wasn't clear, I farmed as much as I could find and threw them in well. I am short to get a few pieces of armor to grade 9... Maybe I will go play day / night again in whole region perhaps I missed a few? or you just can't get enough to build all. Either way, THANK you and your videos have been very helpful. Especially the one showing how strong the base Armor is...been playing with that since.
@@RVJunke1 Must've missed some crystals, since I had enough to upgrade almost everything. A good way to find them is to turn on High Contrast Mode and set the "target" color to blue or red, that way you can spot them more easily

What’s that little meter down by your blades/axe icon? Between your health and runic abilities it looks like there’s an arrow meter wedged in there
If you're talking about the bar that wraps around the weapon icon its the charge of the tower shields ability
You need to make a video about the symbols tyr is making in the endgame content some people think it’s some type of code I personally think there’s a code hidden on the map like the last game except this time they made it a lot harder like it might need a cipher to break instead of telling you directly left right left, right

@Eder R I can’t get him to appear in helheim. I’ve found him in all the other realms. Every time I return to the bird it has the triangle button to hear the speech about not getting a reward for closing the tears.
@echoromeo21 you have to talk to the squirrel after endgame, he gives you seeds to go back to the realms that Atreus went to, lots of cool stuff to find

Does it increase the damage of your runic attacks during permafrost or immolation?
Hmmmm you said it actives with fists even though it doesn’t have anything what happens if you use the poison armor with it does that mean you do even more damage on top of what the gloves and waist 40%?
I'm hoping the new game + update gives us more slots. There's only enough for particular play styles, 2018 allowed way more buffs.
My seal of runic storm is unshaded and has perk requirement of 144/170. How can it be shaded or activated?
I can't wait till they give an update as to when this game will be getting its +newgame first one took 4 months so hopefully around February ...i want to max everything on the game so when I see videos like this I know I'll have every item ready and know i got it to try it o.o

There are only 5 or 6 I believe. There isn't one for each realm. Couldn't find one for runic either. I have them all but I'm not sure if I got them from other berserker fights or legendary chests. Sorry.
Eh, not the best really. The requirements prevent you from getting Realm perks like the Jotunheim enchantment perk that increases your max rage the more vitality you have. It also keeps you from getting some good enchantments like the gradual health regeneration ones and especially the one that grants you increased evade and roll distance. Whereas you can have all kinds of stuff put together if you don’t do this. In general with game strats, having ”win harder” stuff like this is less optimal than stuff that say heightens your survivability, consistency or versatility. You always for optimal play want to go for ”lose less” rather than ”win harder”.
Does it boost Maelstrom too?

Yes. I'm currently using the original equipment all maxed out with the nine realms buff with the best realm enchantment available. It's pretty amazing. I want to be able to go through the game with it and see how it does.

I mean wouldn't it be better to just use the musp amulets that gives you more damage when you activate it? Seems the only difference between this and those amulets is that you get alil realm shift which you already have pommels for. Idk there could be more to it than we know but just doesn't seem worth it at all
does anyone know if you get any unique rewards for beating the game on gow difficulty? I remember yu get unique shield variations in the last game, but haven’t seen any in Ragnarok

I beat the last Gow game on gow difficulty and got the unique shields. recently I replayed a new game on gow difficulty this time around and will say compared to the last game it is MUCH easier in comparison

You only need 2 piece of gear to activate its set skills. But the problem is. We are missing kratos helmet. Which would give us 2 sets of different armor skills.

How do you bring the troll statues and dragon statue to life? I’ve completed the story and I want to get better armour sets to take on these tougher optional bosses for the platinum.
The trolls require the "mystical heirloom" relic I think that's the name. It has an 18 second CD and mentions awakening things I can't remember it's exact descriptive

Where did you get the Jotunheim's Force enchantment?
You need to find a relic named "Mysterious Heirloom" or something like that, after that go to Svartelheim and on an island you will find a statue of a dragon, use the relic there and you will get to fight it, the reward is that enchantment. In my oppinion is the best enchantment since it give you 6 on all stats. You might wanna look for a guide to find the relic and the statue. Also with that relic you can fight 3 encounters of trolls and get another super tanky set.

It's called : Emblem Of Elusion
- gain a burst of speed and travel an increased distance when evading.
" so helpful " legit. The speed gain and dodges are enhanced and its easily noticeable. Same as god of war 2018. I always have this slotted haha, can't play with out it. It diminishes alot of the clunk.
You can get it early in the game by : defeating " Ormstunga " in Alberich Hollow. 👌💪
Yes it's an enchantment called "Emblem of Elusion" and you can get it from a sidequest called The lost treasure, if i remember correct it is given from durin after a specific Story Quest (forging destiny)
I got it few hours ago but i can't tell you if it's good or as good as in god of war 2018 because you need to have "60 Cooldown" overall in your Stats to activate it... And my current loadout is the Lumda Armor with Poison and luck 😂🔥
I absolutely loved this in 2018 GOW... And paired with the increase-Parry-Window one Combat was a dream 😂

Iron Mike Kratos a.k.a Lunda’s + max stun is still way too good
As soon as I saw the amulet had 9 slots, I knew there's be something like this. Tried it and nothing happened so I just dismissed it as a wasted opportunity, turns out my curiosity just wasn't strong enough.
There's just one problem with this build though. With you having all the enchantment slots full you can't get the Storm of Bifrost perk with ups your dps wayyy more than this build so dps wise this build is a 7/10.
I'm having trouble activating the realm shift with that axe pommel. I know it's not L1 circle because that triggers the relic. Does anyone know how to trigger the realm shift with the axe?
L1 triangle for all weapons, as long as they have the correct pommel or equivalent. It also says so down by your health bar in case you forget :)

That's the shield bash bar, The higher the bar the more stun and damage you do. You build it up by blocking and parrying

Yeah that is kind of the question, I think it depends on if you like the perma frost/immolation attacks, otherwise I would say no
