Beat the game yesterday. Only complaint was I wish there were more runic attacks. Otherwise perfect game. Couldn’t believe how big Vanaheim ended up being.
@@Joshuaevm true, however I wish they had more variety. In the last game I had a build where I used the runic attack to hit everybody on screen and the perk that hit everybody on the axe recall. Wish they had more variety like that!
@jackc.23 I know right. Unstoppable aura is completely useless in about 98% of scenearios. It was useless in GoW2018 and it is useless in GoWR. I have no idea why they decided to bring it back.
Never really understood the point of NG+ it’s pretty much the same thing all over again. GoW has always been my favorite IP from Sony I have played all of them even the ones for the psp but even my favorite game can’t make me replay it a 2nd time just for the heck of it since nothing changes. But I do see why people like it some people do like playing set game multiple times.

Got my platinum a few hours ago. Amazing game. Sad to see this is the last on the nordic saga. Can't wait to see what amazing story they will bring us next.

Did you have to 100% all realms for the throphies because my game is glitched and I can’t complete one of the raider camps in Midgard as I died as I killed the last dude so they won’t respawn but it won’t get marked off
@@KibitoAkuya I thought it was the most odd how half the game is spend worrying about kratos dying in the prophecy, only for it to never come back at the end. Kinda expected him to like almost die and get saved last minute or something along the lines of that but the fact that it wasn't mentioned at all again kinda felt off for me Like a huge build up with no pay off
@@MetalRaimon the prophecy was about Oden, not Kratos. Oden died in Atreus’s arms after he took his soul. You stopped hearing about the prophecy when Kratos and Atreus decided to ignore it.
Can't ..stop ... playing....this game, love it immensely no other game has caused me this much love and obsession, best story I've experienced in a very long while, it's a morbidly missed opportunity they haven't upscaled The god of war collections vol.1 and 2 for the PS4/5 can you imagine the original god of war running at 120fps on the ps5 with a Ray tracing option, holy zues that'll be insane awesome, love ya vid but boy how I crave playing the GOW collection on the PS4/5 bet many don't know much about Kratos's mum, it's an interesting character study

Did anyone else get super annoyed and hate that Atreus didn’t have more moves or weapons? I’ve beat the game like 6 times and every time it’s a part where I have to play as Atreus I get annoyed and rush through it to get back to being Kratos lol

If you want a good armor set early on, complete one of the side quests in the very first realm you visit, you have to put out 3 smoke stacks, each smoke stacks drops enough ore to craft one of the three armor sets of your choice of course but if you. Do all three you can craft the entire armor set very quickly😊
All the things they’ve put in this game is WILD… Oh, and “The Spark of the World” is a beautiful set piece but can we go back and fight? That to me should of been the new like, “practice” realm
3:50 how do you get a cool down of 22secs with Breath of Thamur? Mine is 301 secs, my rune is level 2 and my ax is level 7, so the cool down times go down that much just by leveling up or do you have something else enabling your cooldown times?
I might be a little late with this but there’s a training arena in Niflheim where cool-downs for relics and runic attacks are drastically reduced. You get a 90% reduction on your cool-downs as far as I can tell. I got really confused by this when I first noticed it cause I use a runic attack with a 30 sec cooldown but in the training arena it was only 3 secs
@@jaxmillion its still there, im not sure how to do it, but I think you hold L1 and press down, was trying to switch weapons while holding shield and it happened a few times by accident

I got the skofnung relic and love it. I actually found the valkarie queen to be the hardest boss fight in the game. To me the berserker king was a walk in the park 🤷♂️ I just hope the add new game plus soon..

You’re cooldown is really low and that’s why your cooldown times are so long. If you used the Survival Armor (full upgraded best stats) has really solid cooldown and you can activate relics a lot faster
How do you have a 22 second cooldown on the longest Heavy Runic attacks with only 49 Cooldown. I have 144 and it's not that low. Edit: Never mind. You were in the Nifelheim training arena.
This was my game of the year until the Atreyus mission where you collect fruit and throw rocks for I swear 2 hours. Hands down the worst mission in all of the GOW games combined.
Gna is so fuckin hard man! I’ve been stuck on her for like 2 weeks lol. The berserker king was easy, the hardest berserk was the one with the sisters with him.
i think thats because hes in the niflheim fighting arena, its reduced time for all attacks there, i was confused because my stats were higher but cooldown times were longer
you can pick whatever armor appearance you want for equipped stuff, go to the right in the armor menu and there should be a customize appearance button. I use the ravens tear or berzerker cosmetics for all of mine
Some of the berserkers are too hard even on easy. I'm trying to do the one with svipdagr the cold and the sisters of illska. I'm on the easiest difficulty, and I have the steinbjorn armor with nearly maxed defense, and I have a resurrection stone that gives you rage, and I have the rage that gives you back health when you use it, and I turned on the mini-boss checkpoints where when you die, they come back at reduced health based on the damage you did, and I've gotten used to a lot of the attack patterns, and it's STILL way too hard. Not just too hard but way too hard, to the point where it feels impossible. They don't even get close to dying. And this is with the absolute most forgiving settings possible.
@@Kratosx23 yea the game will still require you to press the appropriate buttons but lowering your difficulty will make the bosses less aggressive and will allow you to take less damage while getting hit. Also it will take more hp out of their Health bar with every attack.
can you post where to find the things that increase your health, please I have only found a couple, so I am going off little health on God of war difficulty, I have just finished the alfhiem part of the story
just explore more, open ur map and check how many nornir chests are in the area and collect them all. if you are absolutely having trouble finding them then just look up a video
Everyone is saying Gna the Valkyrie queen took them longer, the toughest boss fight, but for me it was the berserker king that dude took me 2 days to beat, the queen took me like 2 attempts I did fight the king first and kept fighting him over and over until I beat him. In retrospect I should've done the muslheim challenges but I really wanted to fight the berserkers... also fuck the berserker with the 2 sisters, that bastard was just as annoying as the king

I think that the first armor you get is so incredibly powerful, best starts overall at max level. I kept it so much even defeated gna, easily, wearing it since it gives you so many stars, I like it a lot.
Does anyone know if GowR has a shattered gauntlet of ages like GoW? Not necessarily that gauntlet, but just super secret hidden and overpowered gear like the gauntlet?

There is not a new game+ and I don't think there will be from what I've read from the developers online. It's kind of stupid that you can't start over with everything you got from the first play through. All the other gow games have the new game plus option. I dont want to start over because of there not being that option.

@@GeonQuuin Agreed. The cosmetic flexibility is nice when you hit level 9 on an armor set, but that should be there from the start.
Me neither. I thought all the realms were great, and then 3 massive areas were unveiled in VAnaheim by the dog 😂
Unstoppable aura does not stop incoming damage it just prevents your attacks from being interrupted.

These two games together are my favorite games of all time. So good and such a great character arc for kratos. That ending was perfect.
regarding god of time build. theres also a shield attachment for slowing time on parry and two armor peices to slow on dodge
Also some artifacts do the same.
It’ll probably take 2 months for the developers to add a ng+ option…..but when they do they’ll add in other rewards like they did in god of war 2018

Replaced that with the dragon scale armor.
It kinda sucks that the Blades' delayed combos are gone. Specifically the stabs.

On my first play through I got the round of obliteration by defeating Hrist and Mist, I actually never fought Gná until NG+

He was wrong it doesn't make you invulnerable just your attacks can't be interrupted.

except for lunda's armor and raven tear's armor, others armors look so bad. wish there were more armors in this game. atleast chest pieces

easy tip: if you get destroyed by the bosses just to get some runic you can reduce the game difficulty.

The hilt of skofnung melts everything. I did a hidden dragon boss and the hilt melted almost 3/4 of its life bar. I am lvl 8.
